Perfect for taking a break from the world... we'd love to welcome you to our comfortable and airy 1,200 square foot cottage with its large deck looking out over the magnificent lake which looks like an ocean. We have a private sandy beach, perfect for bonfires and relaxing or building sand castles. The property is on a quiet dead end road with open farmland behind the row of waterfront homes and cottages facing the lake. Being here is like sitting by the ocean... kick back, listen to the waves and enjoy.
Our private beach is located in a small cove of the lake. Collect driftwood and make fires on the beach to roast hot dogs, marshmallows; make art work with found objects from sticks and stones, rent a paddleboard or kayak. Swim, launch yourself into a spectacular sunset. Play games, find fossils in stones, bike, hike and explore, or simply read books you have been meaning to read for a long time.
The porch and gentle even stairs to the beach below are new, as are the kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a propane gas grill (barbecue) outside.
On photos you will notice a barrel bunkie. It has a king size sleeping area and a small pull out table with 2 benches. It is available to rent for an extra $100 per stay.

Grand Bend with all its famous fun and excitement is 15 minutes to the South of the cottage. There you can even go skydiving and waterskiing. The Pinery is just minutes to the south of Grand Bend, another pleasant place to visit on the shore nearby.

We do ask that you provide your own linens and towels, as we have no washing machine at the cottage. If this is a big problem (if you are coming by plane from far away, for instance) please let us know.
As the cottage is a place for retreat and peace from the everyday noise and bustle, and for people to connect deeply, we don't believe in providing internet or TV. There is a dvd player and a screen- if you truly need connectivity, creating a hotspot with your phone will usually work.
