Pisces is an established holiday home positioned directly opposite a safe, secluded and family friendly beach in the quiet seaside village of Baudin Beach, less than a 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal and supermarket at Penneshaw.

Nestled behind a sand dune you have direct access to a beautiful white sandy beach only 100 metres away via a board walk located straight across the road. Pisces features a large open plan living area with reverse cycle air conditioning and modern cooking facilities. A deck provides a space where you can sit back and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and afternoon sea breezes.

The master bedroom is positioned at the other end of the home and includes an en suite for your own privacy from the rest of your guests.

Boat launching facilities are located just a few hundred metres from the property and with ample parking space for the boat and fish cleaning facilities also available, Pisces is ideal for that long earned fishing trip.

Pisces is positioned in the ideal holiday location for families and couples where you can explore all the Island's tourist attractions and sample some of Kangaroo Island s world class local produce that can be collected from around the Island.

Comfortable, convenient, well-maintained , well-equipped accommodation between American River and Penneshaw. Very comfortable bed in main bedroom. Neat, clean kitchen and bathrooms.

Perfect for us

Two retired friends wanted a quiet weekend away, the house was perfect for us. We had plenty of individual space and privacy, smart TV with streaming apps, and high-speed internet. Conveniently located to Pennishaw and Kingscote, would definitely recommend this property.

The adult children and the grandkids all had a great time Lovely beach across the road and over the sandhill. Very handy to Peneshaw. Lots of birdlife at house; parrots and family of Blue Wrens. Met by a goanna when we arrived!

The place was amazing it accommodated us for allOur needs The only suggestion I would have is making a front gate area so when sitting out the from you can have your dog or children out with you as that is where the table is to socialize, a cover over the BBQ it was really dirty couldn’t use it. And no outdoor table out the back so maybe bbq out the front just a suggestion. So the family is not divided back and front as the shelter was out the front if that makes sense but other than that perfect everything thank you.

After reading a comment titled "terrific", we found Picies to be : Very good Fresh and clean, well stocked with little extras (except teabags). Extra bathroom necessities were supplied. Comfortable furniture, new pillows would be nice. Quilts very warm and snug. Thank you Location good for exploring.

A lovely seaside beach house. Well appointed. Lovely garden. Close proximity to an awesome beach. Excellent location. However, we needed to clean kitchen, toilets, bathroom floors, washing machine before being able to use. Having said that, we would make another booking down the track.😜👍

Our Kangaroo Island escape

We had the most wonderful time in this great house with everything we needed and just a few steps to a wonderful beach. It was the perfect space to enjoy relaxing with our baby and dog when we weren’t out exploring, super close to the wonderful sunset food and wines and very close to penneshaw for great breakfast options, coffee and all the other essentials. The house was super clean with large rooms big enough to set a porta cot up in. The backyard was fully fenced and we felt very safe leaving our dog out the back if needed.

It could have been cleaner. One of the rooms didn't seem to have clean sheets and was a bit smelly. It was advertised as being on the beach which wasn't exactly correct. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but not sure if we would use the place again.

Great location in between Penneshaw (ferry) & not far to Kingscote. Great sandy beaches.

Good communication with Andrew (property owner) BBQ needs replacing (old & worn) - should be cleaned by tenants when used so reasonable for use for next guests. (Should not be up to cleaner) There was a good size electric frypan & well equipped kitchen. Great beach - walking distance. Although we didn’t take our pet dog there is big back yard
