Modern cottage in historic East Hill

Tucked away in our shady backyard, this 600 square foot cottage is located in one of Pensacola's oldest neighborhoods with quaint homes and lots of parks. (bring your running shoes) It is conveniently located to the airport (5 miles), downtown Pensacola (3 miles), and our beautiful white sand beaches (8 miles). East Hill is developing 12th Avenue! Within walking distance we have a Publix grocery store. Celebrations gift store, Taco Bell, Krispy Kreme, an Italian sandwich/gelato and coffee shop and, my favorite, The Burrows. This Biergarten has the best hamburgers.

The cottage is immaculately clean and well equipped. It is located in a very good area and central to many things in Pensacola. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. We would love to stay again next year.

My Mom and I had a great time in Pensacola! The cottage was clean and worked great for us. Neighborhood was nice and we felt very safe. Would highly recommend.

Amazing!

We had the most wonderful stay! The owners were so kind and friendly. I appreciate that they let us check in early due to flight changes and spent time going over some places to visit while we were in town. The place was spotless when we arrived and we were very pleased with our stay. It was also in a great location and we would stay here again if we make our way back to Pensacola!

Wonderful Cottage

The owners of this cottage take amazing care of the property, and were very welcoming. The pics online look great, and the cottage is new, well decorated and very well maintained.

Loved it!

We spent almost a week in Pensacola in this cottage and loved it! The listing pictures do not do the surrounding gardens justice. The property is extremely well maintained, extremely clean and well supplied. The neighborhood is great, very walkable with several places to eat/ visit close by.

Private, peaceful and spacious!

I can't say enough good things about this property. It's just as good, if not better than the photos. It was the perfect getaway for a working vacation. Lots of closets for storage, a nice big spacious kitchen and a lovely patio surrounded by gardens and beautiful mature magnolias. It was everything I needed for my stay and pleasantly enjoyable. I will definitely return to this place.

Our favorite place!

Tucked in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and surrounded by gorgeous landscaping, this cottage is modern, beautifully furnished, and hosted by the sweetest couple. The cottage has everything you would need. We loved walking around East Hill and enjoyed the daily bike rides to the amazing Bayview Park nearby. Lots of great restaurants in Pensacola — one of our favorite cities. This cottage has to be one of our all-time favorite VRBOs. We’ll be back!

About the host

Hosted by Carolyn Kinne

Ray and I downsized and moved to the East Hill in 2000 and love the convenience and charm of this neighborhood.

Why they chose this property

Note the word downsize. I love our 1921 Craftsman bungalow but the house is small-especially when family comes to visit. We downsized a bit too much so we built the small cottage in the background for overflow company. This has worked out well since they get their privacy and we have a retreat from the grandkids.
