家には、暖炉と暖かい冬の滞在のためのスパプールで暮らすオープンプランがあります。また、天気の良い日はデッキから太陽と山の景色を眺めることができます。

ベッドルーム1にはシングル2段セットとダブルベッドが備わり、ベッドルーム2と3にはそれぞれクイーンベッドが付いています。 これは山からの脱出のために設立された簡単な家族です。

We had a great stay at Piwari Villa, it had a great set up, with the spa and fireplace. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when we stayed, so we didn't get the full impact of the mountain view, but it was a great spot nevertheless. Had everything we needed and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and prompt communicators. Thank you :)

On arrival, the property was dirty; the hosts confirmed the cleaner had not been through. There was dust and debris on the carpets and in the lounge, rubbish in the bins, and the hand towel and shower mat were dirty. We had to purchase a spray and wipe and clean the bathroom, as well as vacuum, wash the hand towel and bathmat before starting our holiday. The spa was not usable the first night due to discolouration and requiring chlorination. The house is old, the duvets provided felt dirty, there was dust and peeling paint, and general wear. After reimbursement of the cleaning fee, we believe we paid too much for a dirty house and feel we should have been reimbursed part of the nightly fee once they discovered that the cleaner hadn’t come through. The hosts offered a discounted rate for a future booking, which we would never use as we would not stay at this property again.

We had a lovely stay at Piwari Villa. Vicky and Abby are lovely hosts and easy to communicate with. The house is tidy and warm. We also get a lovely view of Mt Ruapehu and had a nice soaked at the spa pool after a long day with kids. We definitely recommend this place.

Perfect winter getaway!

Had a wonderful time staying at this property, it was lovely and warm (spa pool was a bonus!) and had everything we needed for a long weekend with family. Easy check in and clear instructions. Thank you!

Lovely stay

We enjoyed our weekend at Piwari Villa. A very old villa which appeared clean and was really well equipped with everything we needed. Neighbouring properties are close by but we still enjoyed sitting on front deck in the sun and using the spa pool. The house had a shed for storing our bikes which was really handy and communication with owners was easy. Would love to know more about the history of the house.

Spa with a mountain

Me and my friends stayed here as we walked the Tongariro Crossing. We loved the rustic feel of the house and of course the spa with the view of Mt Ruapehu. It's just a short drive to Ohakune. A bit longer to the start of the walk but we didn't mind as we enjoyed the early morning views along the way. We'd definitely stay again. Thank you Vicky and Abby🙏

Comfortable and well equipped house!

We had a very easy and comfortable stay in this rustic house with lovely wood floors and panelling. It’s very close to Ohakune, very quiet, and with a nice spa. Highly recomment

Great spot with mountain views

We really enjoyed our stay here with the hoy tub and fabulous views to the mountain. The house was warm and cosy in heavy frosts and hosts excellent to work with.

Our getaway

This cabin was the perfect place for us to rest for the weekend. It is nice and close to Mt. Reupehu and is only a 5 minute drive from a small town. Was an amazing experience. Thank you!! P.S. The fireplace made all the difference in the world. It was wonderful!!

Excellent experience

We had the most fantastic holiday... we loved how the house felt like a little cottage and that we were able to enjoy the fire and kitchen. We were able to make a lovely birthday meal and cheesecake ... everyone felt very comfortable and we were able to meet rhe neighbours who were very friendly... thank you for sharing your bach we will definitely stay again ❤ if you ever want to go to our bach on waiheke island let us know

Piwari Villa has great access to biking trails, waking/hiking and snow sports activities, plus, it is within walking distance of Ruapehu Homestead Horse Riding Centre. It is a great destination year round.

SKI SEASON 2022: (planned operational dates subject to snow/weather)
Rangataua is a beautiful & quiet little community 5km from Ohakune. It has great access to mountain bike trails, walking/hiking and snow sports. The Ruapehu Homestead Horse Treks centre is within walking distance.
