THE VIEW!!! I cannot overstate how incredible the view from this unit is. Just spectacular. We saw turtles from the lanai and a monk seal decided to nap on the beach right next to the building. Just incredible. Beach supplies, chairs, umbrella, cooler were great. Plenty of space to unpack and store your clothes. Bathroom was good. Shower had good pressure and temp. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Overall it was outstanding. The only gripes and I wouldn't even call them gripes, more observations.....The building and unit are older. The unit's flooring needs some tlc. It's not horrible but could use some updating. Same with the shower. Works fine but you can tell it's old. The other thing, and I'm sure it's because of the salt and sea spray, the lanai windows are difficult to move. They're heavy and don't slide easy. But....THE VIEW!!! Like I said, the view is just ridiculously great.

The location and cleanliness of the unit were amazing. It was a remarkable stay and we made memories that will last a lifetime. The ocean was close, snorkeling great and local food delicious.

We loved our stay here! This condo was everything as advertised- the views from the lanai were absolutely incredible; a monk seal even came to shore. This condo is in a fantastic location to go and do many activities on the island. Neal and Vicky left a basket of Hawaiian goodies, which was a fun surprise after a long day of travel. We loved it here and would definitely stay again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better view!A perfect location to explore Maui.Watching whales breach with breakfast and sea turtles swim the shoreline without even leaving the unit was incredible. Literally right on a great swim and snorkel beach and next door to a lovely long boardwalk- perfect for watching the sun set.Communication was excellent, check in was smooth and the unit was pleasantly spacious.Hope to come back soon!

We are honored to have been guests of Neal & Vicky at Maui Kai #408. They simply made all aspects of our stay wonderful! The living room, dining areas, kitchen (very well equipped...we hardly dined out on the town) and bedroom added to our pleasure. Without a doubt, we spent as much time as possible on the lanai to enjoy the magnificent views from sunrise to sunset...and oh my goodness...the humpback whales were "the greatest show on Earth"! And when we weren't in the ocean, we were in the pool at Maui Kai. Mahalo Nui Loa!

The views from Maui Kai 408 are stunning, the location is convenient and close to everything and the host is kind and welcoming. This is an exceptional property! We have been coming here for the past 4 years and I have already reserved it for next year!

Pros: Can’t beat the view at this price. You are literally backing onto the ocean. It was amazing! Clean. Comfortable bed and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Very responsive host. Cons: condo is dated and in need of touch ups — mostly to the bathroom. No regrets, though, as the view/location made up for it.

This is a fabulous property. The views were spectacular with views of Molokai and Lina'i. Parking was plentiful and safe. The access to the beach was an elevator ride and then a short walk through the lobby. A short walk away was a collection of food trucks, a pizza parlour and bar. Ee will definitely try to book this again.
