Great place!

The property is exactly as described. The owner, Paul, is amazing! He is very accommodating and friendly and helpful. The snorkeling off the beach was great. If you don’t want to stay where all the other tourists are, want a more remote location, this place is perfect! Even though it is “remote,” it is still an easy drive to every other place on the island you’d like to visit. Huge, spacious, and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and you couldn’t beat the views from wherever you were, whether inside or outside! We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing!

Our family stayed at Crescent Beach Sky for a week in August 2024. Our stay was simply amazing. House was immaculate and the location was stunning. We enjoyed snorkeling everyday right in the bay-so much to see. Pool, game room and movie room were such a plus. We will be back!

Paul and Faye Ann have a slice of heaven and they have the gift of hospitality! We sooo enjoyed everything about this property. We loved Half Moon Bay and the views from our porch were spectacular! Fantastic stay!

Absolutely loved the location and amenities. The home was so comfortable for my family of 5 (3 adult kids) and it was great to be able to swim, snorkel and hike along the beach literally out the back door. We loved hanging out on the gorgeous porch enjoying endless views of the ocean. Seven mile beach was a 45-60 min drive but we liked being away from all the commotion in a more relaxed area. Great restaurants were close by on the east end of the island. Paul and Fay Ann were lovely hosts- will definitely be back!

First visit to Cayman Islands

Our stay here was perfect! Paul and Fay Anne have really thought of everything that you need for a wonderful stay. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremly well stocked. The views from the property were outstanding. We had chosen to stay on the less busy and crowded side of the island and very pleased we did. It was an easy drive to where we wanted to go for beaches, dinner etc. Communication with Paul and Fay Anne during the booking proccess and during our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again soon!

Quiet Paradise

Well equipped beach front rental perfect for families. Plenty of activities for all ages. Home is beautiful, pool, ping pong/pool and the theater are highlights. We participated in a baby turtle release with Paul (host) that was once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be away from the busy area of Seven Mile Beach.

Can’t stress enough how awesome this place is. It’s like you are a celebrity with your very own beach and bay - just for you and yours to enjoy. The restaurants around are so good - special shout out to Tukka (ask for Tido as your waiter) as well as Czech Inn. Ocean Frontiers Scuba was so close and they were a spot on professional organization. Can’t say enough about 1/2 Moon Bay - AWESOME!

Destination - Perfect

Beautiful, upscale, ocean view, with fabulous hosts Paul and Fay Anne. All the creature comforts one could desire. Once you get your groceries, put on your reef safe sunscreen, and head to the beach and house reef, you are set to relax and enjoy. Paul and Fay Anne shared their knowledge and love of the island and the experience of two releases of newly hatched turtles. Fabulous vacation for us and our adult children.

Absolutely Amazing!

This is an absolute gem in Grand Cayman! The owners, Paul, Faye Anne, and Bugsy, are wonderful! They are always pointing out things they see, including turtle nests and hatchings! The bay area is perfect for snorkeling. My husband was able to see a nurse shark, stingray, lobster, and an array of other sea life. They literally have thought of everything here! The pictures do not do this property justice. We will be back in the near future!

We had a wonderful time here at the Cayman Islands. The home exceeded our expectations and the pictures of the surrounding beach and area do not do it justice. Paul and Faye Ann ar excellent hostess and all the small touches they have added certainly make one feel comfortable and at home. They were always a call away and available for any questions... We will certainly miss this place and truly believe we found our secret gem. We hope to bring the rest of our family back next year!

Amazing

This was a beautiful property with all the conveniences of home. Paul and Fay Anne were fantastic hosts with great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. A welcome basket with a bottle of wine and rum cake greeted us upon arrival, along with Paul and Fay Anne who even helped bring in our luggage. It’s nice to have someone local close by, but they never interrupt your stay you unless you need something. We came as VRBO guests but left as friends. Our family is already planning our next trip back.

Exactly as described - beautiful view!

Property description is accurate, Paul and his wife are right next door and very helpful . Apartment has everything you could need, several groceries on way to the apartment.The location is beautiful, but the beach is very rocky. It is a perfect location to get away and feel like you’re on your own little island. I would only suggest adding a tower type fan to each bedroom as it is very warm.(there is one in the master bedroom)

Great Stay

Our party of 4 became a party of two last minute so it was just myself and my 6 year old son. We had a blast. He really enjoyed the pool, sand, and the chickens. While this is a great set up for adults, there is also plenty for kids to do as well. Paul has a great movie selection and an Xbox so kids can spend time entertaining themselves out of the sun. The views were really great and Paul was an excellent host. We will be back for sure.

Paul and Fay Anne de Freitas are both world travellers who settled in the Cayman Islands in 1983. Brought up in Guyana, England and Ireland, and having lived in the USA, Antigua and Grenada, we bring a knowledge of what is needed to instinctively feel comfortable and at home in a new environment. Paul is involved in a company which produces banking software and travels fairly regularly to his office in Sweden.

Paul and Fay Anne recognised that unique beach property is hard to find. And the Half Moon Bay is very unique - a coral garden. This property was supposed to become the clubhouse of the exclusive Half Moon Bay project which, thanks to Hurricane Ivan, came to an untimely end. With grounds of an acre and deep deposits of white sand over a stable ironshore base, the site offered many possibilities for development. We decided to place a twin apartment structure on the east side of the property since this kind of layout maximises privacy for individual renters. We designed Crescent Beach from the ground up. And so Crescent Beach is an extension of our personality and even includes artwork from Fay Anne.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Crescent Beach is unique because its beach fronts a small bay, Half Moon Bay, full of living coral gardens among which you can walk - only on the sandy bits please. It is even more unique because the properties to the east and west have iron-shore frontage - a tough, craggy, limestone rock - and for this reason, the usual rule of the beach being open to walkers up to the high water mark really does not apply. To access the beach, third parties would have to cross private property.

Our beach is used as a nesting site for the Green Turtle and we make sure that we are around to help the nestlings into the water when they dig their way to the surface after their gestation period in the sand. The sight of numerous baby turtles scuttling determinedly towards the surf line is a sight that one does not forget. No guarantees, but the last nestlings took to the water in August - so if that's your month, you may get lucky and see one of Mother Nature's most wonderful sights.

So for visitors keen on quiet relaxation in a unique environment, but with fast and convenient access to restaurants, diving, and about 30 minutes away, the big city - George Town and Camana Bay, Crescent Beach affords the best of both worlds.
