Yes, to both questions. The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. They lent us a good torch to help navigate the path from the gate to our cabin when it was dark. On our last night there was a huge electrical storm and the proprietor came out in heavy rain to assist us with his umbrella.

A lovely quiet place! Well, equipped cabin..with everything you need for a self contained few days away, just bring food. Lots to do in the area, very good & interesting get away! Hosts were helpful and lovely. Not “in your face”, but there when needed. Highly recommend!

Cute and unique. Comfortable bed and a beautiful view. We had a lovely time. We rated 4 stars because the shower curtain was a little mouldy and we could have used more surface space on bedsides/side tables.

We enjoyed our stay at Willow Cabin. It’s very pretty and the deck is lovely. We found the walk to the cabin (with our suit case) a bit tricky and getting into and out of the shower wasn’t easy. Also the cabin is very small and there was nowhere to put the suit case.

Idyllic Hideaway in the Mountains

Private and secluded cabin complete with all the comforts. Joolie and Michael’s efforts to add thoughtful inclusions are everywhere in Willow Cabin. Lots to read, eclectic artworks and quirky pieces to amuse. Our peaceful stay was only interrupted by the birds and pattern of rain. We had a lovely stay, just 2 nights but it was enough to reset. Highly recommend as a couples escape.

I am a visual artist - inspired by the beautiful Scenic Rim in Queensland. I have lived and exhibited in many countries but have recently returned to this captivating mountain region for the heavenly views, the climate and wildlife.

Previously, I had been a successful host in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, meeting many international guests in my apartment, which I totally enjoyed.

Now, together with my CO-HOST, we are creating a romantic get-away cabin at the rear of our property surrounded by trees opening on to glorious mountain views. We have enjoyed creating a living space that is serene, peaceful and luxuriously comfortable. Aspiring to be as sustainable as possible, we have installed solar roof panels and an EVBox charging station for EV owning guests.

We hope our guests become acquainted with our beautiful Beechmont in the Scenic Rim.
