We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Good communication with the host, no-contact check in/out. A couple of things that I wish I had known ahead of time (but didn't much impact our stay):
1) The cabin is up on a ridge with a rocky, mostly 1 lane entrance/exit. There are only 5 cabins (I think) so we only ran into another car and had to figure out a way around twice in our 3 nights there. We were in a Jeep so the offroad aspect didn't bother us, but had we been in a small sedan, I would've been a bit worried about going up and down. The road also limits a "quick" dinner out, just not wanting to go up and down so much. Plan that into your itinerary or stay elsewhere if popping in and out is important to you.
2) No wifi or cable TV, plan on an unplugged stay.
3) The cabin is a little quirky (temps rubbed off the stove which leads to guessing..., shower door is wonky, the bed frame is very very loud just turning over at night), however the only thing that was actually annoying was the loud bed frame. The bed was otherwise comfortable.
There is not a dishwasher, so I was not confident that the dishes were all cleaned - a concern moreso during COVID than before. I washed everything myself just to give myself peace of mind. Easy fix. Otherwise, everything seemed cleaned upon our arrival.
All said, we very much enjoyed our long weekend away, especially coffee on brisk fall mornings on the porch. Eureka Springs was buzzing and plenty of restaurants had take-out options. Would definitely return here for a couple's weekend!
