Super cute and cozy cabin, great location. Only minor complaint is that the bathroom set up does not allow for much privacy from the bedroom, so make sure you’re traveling with someone you’re comfortable with!

Cabin was smaller than expected and shower was very small but enjoyed our stay otherwise.
We really loved this cabin and the location! Thank you so much for hosting us. Just a note the bedroom light above the bed did not work, but we didn’t really need it anyways. Thank you and have a wonderful rest of your day.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
The reason this is getting a lower rating is because the precise physical location on VRBO and Expedia are NOT correct. The listing says “located in Eureka Springs historic district”, has the pin on the map on Main Street, and states that it is within 1-3 minute walk of several restaurants and shops we planned to visit. It absolutely is NOT downtown! It is located about 3 miles south of downtown, so definitely NOT walkable! I did not have the address until my reservation was confirmed, so when I received the address and looked it up on the map I then contacted VRBO. After being put on hold several times they informed me that since the reservation was only a week away, I could cancel but the host would NOT offer a refund. I understood the cancellation policy, BUT the issue was that I had just booked it the day before so the booking date was already past the refund date! VRBO and the property manager were informed that the location listed was incorrect, and that didn’t make a difference to them. And it is now about 2 weeks later and the location on the site has still not been corrected. Having said all that, if you are looking to stay about 3 miles outside of town in a little cabin then this may be a good option. The photos are accurate, it is clean & charming and seems to have most things you would need. The host/property manager was responsive, but again, did not offer a refund or any kind of credit for the incorrect location which was not what I wanted.
Cabin clean, well appointed, and as advertised. Decor was super fun and interesting. Driveway a bit tricky but manageable. Communication with host great. Only thing might be to put some cushions in the outdoor chairs but other than that, excellent place to stay for 2!
The cabin is a very clean and comfortable cabin. The view of lake is beautiful. Cool walking areas, great places for pictures and photo opportunities. The sounds of nature were amazing, saw lots of geese and birds, and squirrels and chipmunks. It is kind of a rustic look and cabin. Nice little getaway to nature, not walking distance to downtown Eurkea Springs, unless you are a young avid walker and hiker, definitely a drive back into town, with the skinny winding roads.*This is not a complaint, just to give a heads up, we have a lowered small car, the driveway is starting to be washed out, with open areas in the gravel and hill/inclined was tricky for us, especially after the heavy rain. Also, if you like bathroom privacy, not much of that as the bathroom is right next to bed room with a small sliding barn door thin to separate the two areas, with no exhaust fan for the pooh smell, sorry if TMI, lol. *Just a suggestion: My husband suggests more lighting and that there are ways to keep the rustic look and add more lighting to the cabin. *If you have bad knees or struggle walking, the Rock made stairs or the incline of driveway might be a little tricky, just a heads up. Not a complaint, other heads up if you're a light sleeper like me, the rain and storms on the metal roof is very loud and kept me awake the one night it stormed. This is just nature, so no way to change it, unless it had a more updated roof. Maybe add cushions to kitchen chairs, and the outside deck chairs.
