Really comfortable villa, that was well equipped with everything we needed. Villa is within walking distance to coast path which gives a nice route to both Burgau and Luz. Pool was lovely and place both inside and outside was spacious. Andy was very communicative both before we arrive and during our stay.

Beautiful Villa

Excellent across the board . The owner and his staff were wonderful. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend for any type of holiday. We didn’t want to go home !

Wonderful villa!

This is truly an amazing place to stay. The property has all the amenities a family or a group of friends would want. The location is great it is 20-25 minutes from The Sagres beaches or there are closer beaches nearby. Andy the owner was great and answered all our questions with a great level of care and detail. We would definitely stay again 😊

Excellent villa

I have stayed at Casa Luar with my family three times now and have enjoyed every visit. The villa is very well equipped and immaculately clean. It is private and peaceful with an excellent pool. A car is recommended to get into the village of Luz but it can be walked in 25 mins or so. Highly recommended.

Great place to start adventures

This house is a dream. You feel directly at home! We arrived at a well cleaned house. Everything worked as it should, the kitchen was well equiped, and there was nothing we missed! The view around is amazing and it is a quiet area. From here you can start all the adventures to the westcoast and the nearest beach is only 5 minutes by car away. The house is so well maintained. It is a pleasure. We came with small children and they even put up the fence around the pool without asking. That made everything very easy because the Kids could play free. We can highly recommend this house for holidays!

Perfect Villa!

The villa was immaculate with everything we could possibly need for our holiday there. It was spotlessly clean and very modern. Communications with the property manager and the owner were excellent and they went out of their way to help us whenever we needed it. The pool was brilliant. Large enough for all of us and warm enough for my husband! The location was perfect and we often walked into Luz and back for dinner. It took us about 30 minutes each way. The only reason I have given a 4 instead of a 5 is that the mattresses (which were all new) were incredibly hard and my husband and youngest son did not sleep well. Unfortunately they were all the same so we didn’t have any option to swap beds. Overall though we would would highly recommend this lovely villa.

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans une villa magnifique. Andy et natasha sont très gentils, très efficaces et serviables. Les courses a notre arrivée sont un réel plaisir , c’est très agréable. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et nos enfants se sont beaucoup amusés avec la piscine . Merveilleux séjour dans cette villa

Magnifique villa! Très bien situé dans un quartier hyper calme. Tout est fait pour que l’on se sente comme à la maison! Tout est mis a disposition. Idéal pour les familles avec enfants car bien sécurisé ( portail+clôture piscine sur demande ). Supermarché et commodité à 5 minutes en voiture. Rien à dire, tout était parfait. Hôte chaleureux et a l’écoute. Je recommande !

Maison belle et agréable avec jolie vue

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison (une semaine en mai de 3 amis adultes). La vue depuis le premier étage est fabuleuse. Nous avons profité longuement de la vaste terrasse et de la grande piscine bien chauffée, parfaitement ensoleillée jusqu'au milieu de l'après-midi et un peu d'ombre (bienvenue) après 16h. Cuisine complète avec panier d'accueil. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Tout est à disposition (draps et serviettes, produits de première nécessité, ...). Un guide complet de la maison nous permet de bien se retrouver et d'avoir des informations sur les restaurants et autres magasins (une bonne idée !). Les photos sont parfaitement conformes à la réalité. Les communications avec les propriétaires et les gestionnaires sur place ont été fluides et efficaces. Ils sont très réactifs. Juste pour trouver quelque chose à redire : le portail manuel ; on est fainéants en vacances... On recommande donc cette merveilleuse maison jaune !

Exceptional - Casa Luar

Fabulous comfortable clean and secure home. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked modern kitchen with everything needed to cook. The welcome goodies in the fridge were a nice touch. Exceptional recommendations for restaurants or supermercados in the home manual which was very complete with excellent maps and recommendations for local farmers markets and activities. Pool was exceptionally clean. Ps3 and TV set up made it easy to relax and watch movies or play games while enjoying the beautiful view of ocean from upstairs family room. Hope to stay there again soon!

High quality Villa in quiet location.

We stayed for a week in mid September. The weather was changing so it was a mix of sun and cloud however that didn’t spoil anything. We stayed as a couple however it is a good size for three couples or a family. Spotless and in a very condition. Pool is great and I would recommend paying extra for pool heating. Luz is walking distance or a very short car ride away and has lots of places to eat and drink. Berghau to the west is smaller and retains a lot of charm. Would strongly recommend this Villa as a great place to stay.

Super Villa, tolle Lage, großer Pool, liebevoller Service, ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren mit sechs Personen Ende Oktober 2018 in dieser wunderschönen Villa. Hier passte alles, vom ersten Kontakt, über die Anreise bis zur Urlaubswoche. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, haben uns ein bisschen in Haus und Land verliebt und werden gern wiederkommen. Pool und Aussicht sind ein Traum, man kann einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang bewundern. Leider hielt das Wetter nicht das, was wir uns erhofft hatten. Also müssen wir bei besserem Wetter wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Andy, Nancy und auch Natasha

Great Stay at The Yellow House

Casa Luar, a lovely house, pool, gardens and a view of the sea, is as previous reviews immaculately clean complete with everything you would need for modern day living in the sun. We stayed over the Christmas & New Year period and found we were comforted and warm in the evenings with the log fire and heated rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and a return visit highly likely. Thank you Andy & Nancy.

Perfect relaxation in a fantastic house

We were a group of six adults having a fantastic stay in this lovely house which is big enough to give privacy for everybody. Great pool and garden. Used the barbecue several nights for fish and meat. Great restaurants in Luz and Lagos. Great surroundings, enjoyed the cliff walk to Burgau and into Luz. Had a great stay and hope to be back

I am a fastidious person and think that the standard of the villa reflects my my high standards. The western Algarve is a wonderful unspoilt natural paradise, and I am sure if you book the yellow house you will enjoy it, and the Western Algarve as much as I do. My wife Nancy also speak fluent Portuguese and French.
