Why Sean chose Dénia
Denia is great, a lovely authentic Spanish town. The beach is next to the complex, the town is a very short walk, it has a lovely marina and countless restaurants so you can relax and people watch. It is not Marbella so the prices are reasonable and affordable. Drive along the coast and the views are great, Stop off along the way in lovely Javea or Moraira. It is just great, we will retire there and so look forward to the day!

Nice apartment, great location, Jane and Sean were super helpful and accommodating. Very near the beach, supermarket and Old Town with lots of restaurants and shops.
It was a shame that the pool was closed for renovation, but nothing that the owner could have done anything about.

An extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable apartment. We enjoyed a week there from 14 -21 March. As it faced the sun we were able to breakfast and lunch on the balcony and the apartment always felt warm. It was great to watch English programmes on the TV. We didn't hire a car but used public transport to get from and back to Alicante Airport.

We had a good week, very comfortable apartment and excellent location. Easy walk to beach, town and 'green way' walk/cycle track. The town and marina is lovely with welcoming bars, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Enjoyable time.
The complex was easy to find and well situated for town and beach. Loved the pool.
He property was adiquate, just wish it had been facing the pool area instead of a quite busy road. The balcony was too noisy to sit out on, because of noisy neighbours with dogs baking day and night. The complex is in a really good location for town and beach and to find a supermarket within a short walk was a real bonus. The apartment was well equipped, and although clean on first impressions, was beginning to show it’s age and usage.

In choosing whether to be poolside or facing externally we had to balance the risk of where the greater noise was likely to come from. The advice from seasoned owners was that guests would rather not be facing the pool as this meant considerable pool noise into the evening when many are trying to relax and equally importantly considerable pool noise from early morning potentially causing sleep disruption. The feedback we had have since is that virtually all guests have been satisfied not to be pool facing. The bonus is that our external facing balcony has mountain views and is south facing, something many guests have enjoyed and commented on. As regards the noise coming from the road past reviews have not focussed on this, I expect you were just unlucky on this instance.
The apartment was due to be painted in April as happens every year but unfortunately Ryanair cancelled my flight with only 24 hours notice and there was no gap in rentals to allow me to make an alternative trip during the Summer. Now that we are in the low season the deferred trip has been organised and the apartment will look as new again.
I am glad that otherwise you enjoyed your holiday and the superb location of the complex being close to the beach and the town with its lovely marina.

Lovely holiday in Denia
Nice apartment, has everything you need. Lovely pool. Situated a few minutes walk to the beach and town. Third stay in this apartment and will definately be back.
Las Marinas beach is only 400m away with a long fine sandy beach stretching nearly 20km. Go for a stroll along the newly built boardwalk or work out on the exercise equipment set into the sandy beach. Spiderman type climbing pyramid for the the kids. Play football or volleyball using the goals and nets provided. Wind surf or go boating. Stroll along the beach to the huge marina with luxury yachts. Go shopping, eat out or even take a ferry to Ibiza or one of the other Balearic Islands.
Just one hour from Alicante or Valencia airports, both served by the budget airlines. Everything is within walking distance so a car is not necessary.
Denia town and its historic castle is just 10 minutes stroll. A new shopping centre with cinema and bowling alley is just 10 minutes outside of Denia. The fabulous coastline is well worth touring. Alicante and Valencia are just over an hour away and the amusement park of Terra Mitica and water park of Aqualandia are under an hours drive.
Enjoy the local colourful fiesta's and the bull ring in July. Try the local fruit and vegetable markets or go along to the fish-market for the latest catch.
