About Pedro Sureda
We are a Spanish family who live in Porto Petro.
Pedro Sureda purchased this Villa in 1990
Why Pedro Sureda chose Santanyí
We chose our house for its very convenient location In a pine scented clearing in the fir trees above the picturesque fishing village of Porto Petro, Ca'n Turicano sits at the end of an exclusive cul de sac of just 3 Villas. Just 400m from a small sandy cove and a pleasant 15 mins stroll down to harbour side restaurants. This lovely villa with its own pool offers everything for a completely relaxing holiday.

Pool / Spa
Lovely villa set In a pretty garden enclosed by woodland in a small, beautiful resort
Spacious, clean villa with good amenities. Comfortable beds and sofas. Kitchen is very well equipped but will soon need updating. Both bathrooms within the villa are of a good standard. The outside toilet/shower is very handy when using the pool. The pool and gardens are looked after twice a week, though it can be annoying to be woken early by the gardeners! Clean towels and bedding were left for us to change once during our ten day stay as well as beach/pool towels. Any minor problems we encountered were soon rectified by the very friendly owner Pedro. It was so nice to chat to him about the history of the villa and surrounding area. The location of the villa is very quiet, just what we wanted with a 5month old baby and 6 year old. It's a nice walk downhill into the picturesque Portopetro with its few shops and super restaurants. Our favourite restaurant was Norai on the waterfront, great menu! New favourite drink is called 'Hugo', gin, elderflower, soda and mint! For us it was a good location as you don't always have to use the car to either go to the beach or go out to eat or for a drink. Fab holiday at Villa Turicano, would recommend and hope to visit again in the future.
Relaxing and quiet stay
Just returned from a relaxing and peaceful stay. The villa had everything we needed and Pedro the owner was always on hand should we have any queries.
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
Brilliant week in Porto Petro
Just returned from Porto Petro staying in Villa Turicano and have to say this is one of the nicest
villas we've stayed in. Pedro the owner was extremely helpful and welcoming even offering us a lift back from the port with our shopping one day when he passed us on the road. We are looking forward to our next visit now. The Villa is situated in a cul-de-sac, very private with just 2 other Villas. Its a short walk down the hill to restaurants and supermarkets and people in the port are welcoming and friendly. The walk back is a takes a bit more effort but its well worth it. We would highly recommend a stay here.
Beautifully relaxing break
This is a lovely little villa on a very quiet street with only 3 other properties. It was nicely maintained and the owner Pedro was very helpful. The directions to the villa were clear and easy to follow and Porto Petro itself is a gorgeous little town. There aren't many restaurants but the ones we tried were all of excellent quality (our firm favourite being Rafael y Flora overlooking the harbour). It's a very short walk down to the town from the villa so it really provides the best of both worlds - peace and quiet but near all amenities.
Wonderful, nice, calm house
Lovely house in a calm neighborhood, short walk through the woods to a small quiet beach. Lots of nice restaurants in Porto Petro - the best - Es Celler 9 -where we had a really nice evening. Big supermarket in Santanyi - Eroski and Lidl - so good to have a car if you want to go there. Day trip to Cala Mondrago, really nice beach, but very crowded. The house was perfect for 6, nice and clean and a lovely service from Pedro. We would really like to come back! Thanks
Villa Turicano is just 400m from a small sandy cove. The lovely beaches of the Cala Mondrago National park are just 3kms away and along the way there are 2 further pretty bays. This south eastern corner of Mallorca area has many interesting beaches, from the beautiful Es Carbó beach to the long and undeveloped white sand beach of Es Trenc.
Porto Petro is a 50 minutes drive from Palma airport and car hire is not essential as taxis are available from the airport. Although a car is useful for exploring further afield, we don’t consider one essential here as the convertible bus or bus connects Portopetro with Cala Mondragó and the beaches and centre of cala d’Or stops in the village.
The village centre is at 400 metres away.
The nearest beach is at 400 metres.
Municipal tennis courts and a children’s playgrounds at 300 metres.
The natural park of Mondragó (2 beautiful beaches) at 3 km.
Vall d'Or golf club at 10 km.
Rancho jaume, Horse riding at 1.5km
Diving centre at 600 metres.
This easy style villa in Mallorca is ideal for families who enjoy peace and their own pool, but like to be walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shops and if you explore a little, there's even a short cut down to the port via a (quite steep) flight of steps.
The accommodation, conveniently arranged on one floor is ideal for families or couples who like a little extra space. The open plan living area is comfortably furnished with a sofa and armchairs and dining table. Leading off is the bright kitchen well equipped with full cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine.
All three bedrooms are bright and airy. The double and one twin bedroom share a family bathroom, whilst the second twin has a smart shower room en-suite. Although there are no direct sea views, if you listen carefully it's possible to hear the sea as it's really not far away through the pine forest behind the Villa ‘as the crow flies' and even by foot it's no more 400m walk, by road and footpath to a small sandy cove.
