Good holiday for the 5 of us and communication with the host was really good. We had a couple of issues in the first day but the agents dealt with quickly and very responsive. The location is by far the best part, we loved the marina at night and the beach, being so close was great. I would say the apartment was more suited to 4 people but the balcony was big enough for all and the sofa out there was lovely.

Large apartment in great location

Large, clean, well appointed property in excellent location within 5 minutes walk to Puerto Duquesa. Nice, quiet development with lovely pool area, good security and parking. Weather was great too so it was a fabulous break.

Heerlijk appartement met veel ruimte en fijn zwembad

We zijn over het algemeen zeer tevreden, het huis is heel ruim, netjes, fijn bed, veel keukengerei aanwezig (zelfs tupperware bakjes en strijkbout). Enige wat werd gemist was een koffiezetapparaat, dat zou een mooie aanvulling zijn. ;) Wat we een beetje bijzonder vonden was de derde slaapkamer met stapelbed, die bevindt zich beneden naast de keuken in plaats van boven. Voor mensen met kleine kinderen niet ideaal misschien. De locatie van het appartement is ook fijn, uitzicht op het zwembad, goede zonwering aanwezig. Zon op balkon vanaf ongeveer half tien tot zonsondergang. Het zwembad is prima, wordt niet echt aan handdoekjes leggen gedaan. Nooit echt topdrukte ondanks dat wij in het hoogseizoen zaten met 30 graden (juli). Bijna altijd wel plek voor iedereen. Het wc gebouw wat erbij zit wordt alleen niet dagelijks bijgehouden, wc papier is dan niet aangevuld en prullenbakken niet geleegd. Daar zou wat meer aandacht aan kunnen worden besteed door de beheerder van het complex. Alles bij het resort en huisje en zwembad is heel goed beveiligd, overal zijn sleutels en codes voor.Je loopt zo richting de haven en strand in ongeveer 5 tot 7 minuten. Lekker gegeten in de restaurants in Manilva. Zeker een aanrader! Wij zouden zo weer boeken!Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid!

Vacaciones verano

Nuestra experiencia estas vacaciones fue buena. La urbanización muy tranquila. La piscina el primer día muy sucia,el segundo día la limpiaron y perfecto los niños selo pasaron genial. Las playas y el pueblo muy bien. Del apartamento tengo que decir que estaba limpio,solo unas hormigas que también estaban de vacaciones en la cocina,lo solucionamos con sal y pimienta. Y el estor de la terraza no tenía como bajarlo. La dirección en el anuncio no era correcta y fue difícil contactar y entendernos por el idioma. Perdimos mucho tiempo con esto,yo creo que un mail el día antes con las referencias correctas o poner bien la dirección en el anuncio. Aparte de este inconveniente fue todo bien y volveríamos.

Many thx for your great comments...glad that you enjoyed your stay in our apartment and the resort of Duquesa. We have noted that you had an issue with the directions not being quite correct...this has now being corrected...thankyou for the feedback. You also mentioned not being able to find a way to let the patio awning/shade down. The previous guest had stored the release pole away so their kids could not play with it...but we managed to locate it and advised this the same day you had asked about it. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention and we look forward to you staying again with us.

Alojamiento para repetir!!

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. El apartamento de Raymond está muy bien situado (apenas a unos 5-8 minutos andando de la playa y zona de comercio) y muy bien equipado. Todas sus habitación y espacios son amplios y la terraza estupenda con vistas a la piscina y al campo de golf. Ya lo he recomendado a amigos y familiares!!

J'ai bien-aimé le tranquille de este alojamiento Il est propre. J'ai pas aimé la déférence entre le check in et le check out.je dois entre a la maison jusqu'à 16h je ne profité pas bien de la journée. Et pour sortir je dois sortir a 10h .

Glad you enjoyed the Apartment - I understand your 3 star review is based on our check-out/in times...please however note, check-out is 11.00am (not 10.00am as stated) - and check-in is now 4.00pm due to a longer covid-19 deep clean requirements...leaving it clean an safe for new guest arrivals. We look forward to welcoming you again...we will always try and accommodate any late departure/arrival times to suit flights etc if advised in advance.

Really nice apartment in nice quiet complex

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. The apartment is well furnished with everything clean and fresh. The complex is very well kept and clean, nice pool area and only 5 minute walk to marina. Balcony is a great little sun trap.

Brilliant location beautiful apartment

This property is maintained to a high standard I love this area of Spain safe for children and teenagers I had no problem letting mine go into town on there own.The beautiful pool and grounds are well looked after and the beach is only a short walk .If you hire a car there is so much to explore in the surrounding area but if not and like me you like walking then there are some lovely walks .I would strongly recommend this property and have booked to go in June roll on June can’t wait to sit on that balcony with the view of the golf course and pool .

We run an Event Management business in the UK so really only get a chance to enjoy our apartment in the early Spring and over the Christmas period...the rest of the year we hope our guests enjoy our spainish home as much as we do.

We feel in love firstly with the Duquesa area, as it has fantastic and unspoilt countryside and is easily accessed via the Autopiste from Malaga or Gibraltar airports. The sandy beaches are clean and safe and both being golfers the area has over 30 courses within a 15 mile radius. Our apartment is just perfect...and quite unique as both the Duquesa Golf Course and the beaches are within walking distance...not too many places can make that claim!

The Almadraba complex has a fantastic pool and gardens and the local community work hard to keep everything just perfect. Our apartment is a penthouse duplex (upstairs/downstairs) and is end of block..so very quiet! Also our apartment patios (there are two) are south facing...so we enjoy having breakfast in the spanish sunshine and also enjoy a bottle of wine (or two) while watching the sun set over the Duquesa hills! Perhaps the biggest advantage apart from the unspoilt views is its location - a short stroll (2 minutes) in the evening to the bars and resturants of Puerto Duquesa - no long walk or taxi home required! ..enjoy!
