Can't wait to enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the terrace, or enjoy that glass of Spanish wine as the sun sets. Our space is intended for comfort, and enjoying your much needed vacation to relax.
This is a great rental location and offers amazing space for a family or couples traveling together, which is hard to come by in Spain for vacation rentals! This is one of the larger properties, offering 3 full bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor, sleeps up to 6.
When you book, you will receive a welcome document within 7 days of check in, that details all the information you will need to know while staying with us at our home away from home in Beautiful Spain. Contact numbers also provided. Now let me tell you about my cozy rental in the BEST location!
We have couples stay with us, families stay with us, or friends traveling together. We have had it all. Our property has an amazing location surrounded by things to do, places to eat, and wonderful attractions to visit.
New upgrades completed in November of 2023, it is even more ready to welcome you to visit. We value our guests, and want them to feel prioritized and welcomed!
We understand how important it is to have a place to stay where you feel comfortable & safe, but also close to many things to do!

Our penthouse apartment features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 3 terraces!!
The main terrace directly overlooks the pool and gardens and has many options for seating and enjoying a glass of coffee or wine in the Spanish sun! The view from the main terrace overlooks the summer pool, and the winter pool is to the left. The pool has newer renovations just a year or two old, and has a zero entry area.
The pool is equipped with loungers and shade if desired, so no need to carry sun-chairs up and down the elevator. The pool entrance is within the safety of the community, and just steps away from the apartment. The terrace overlooking the pool allows for a close and careful watch of your swimmers.
You can enjoy sun all day long with terraces on both sides of this penthouse, in addition to the main terrace, there is a terrace off the middle bedroom as well as a large terrace upstairs with seating area, dining area, and sun loungers. Apartment is equipped with an electric BBQ for enjoying the delights of local cuisine at home.
As stated above, the apartment boasts 3 bedrooms to fit the whole family. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed with foam mattress topper, dresser, tv, and master bathroom en suite. Large closets accommodate suitcases and other traveling necessities. The master bathroom is equipped with a toilet, bidet, shower/tub, and blue tooth mirror for listening to music while getting ready.
Bedroom 2 is located just outside the master bedroom door in the hallway. This room boasts a king sized bed also equipped with a foam mattress topper, small bedside dressers, tv, large closets, as well as one of the terraces. The terrace has seating and a small table to enjoy coffee or wine in the morning or the evening as the sun sets.
The last bedroom (bedroom 3) is a twin sized bed on an expandable bed frame. The other mattress is in the closets in this room. It can be used as a single bed or expanded, or used as two singles (frame is also in the closet). This single bed also has a foam mattress topper for added comfort. This bedroom also has a tv with streaming Chanels.
All bedrooms are equipped with music clocks/alarms, that allow for iPhone charging. The second bathroom is located next to bedroom 3 in the hallway. It has a standing shower, sink, and toilet. The apartment is equipped with a hair dryer and styling irons that fit Spanish plugs, so no need to travel and carry your own. We have a supply of power adapters in the tv cabinet in the living room.
The tv's are all smart Tv's and have Netflix, Showtime, and Hulu. You are welcome to log into any additional streaming services you have at your home, just remember to log out upon departure!
The wonderful thing about our apartment, is the proximity to so many things to do. We are surrounded by golf courses (one just in the backyard, Duquesa Fairways Golf), and a small 3/4 mile or 1.21 km to reach the port. There are closer dining options than the port, with Kelly's Bar & Wine shops just a few turns down the road.
The port is an endless wonder, with more places to eat then you will have time for during your stay. The port is also a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the marina. There are grocery stores, shopping stores, public laundry, and ample places to eat and have a drink all within the short distance to the Duquesa port and surrounding areas. You can rent boats, or just enjoy the marina for the beauty it boasts. The public beach is also located within the port.
The welcome documents detail places to shop, eat, and get what you may need.
Although the kitchen is fully stocked, we hope you will enjoy the delights of the food surrounding the apartment. Fully stocked with pots, pans, serving dishes (8-10 settings), variety of wine glasses, cooking and serving utensils, and serving trays. There is a water filtration device in the apartment, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Dishwasher, oven, stove, and washing machine are all housed in the kitchen area. There is a folding clothes dryer in the closet for use when laundering.
Spanish wine is wonderful and well known, you will receive a bottle upon your arrival, and I hope you will enjoy the wines of the countryside during your stay. There is nothing more beautiful and satisfying than drinking a glass of wine on the terrace watching the sun go down. There is wine museum in Rhonda, a stunning city you must plan on visiting while here.

We love spain, and particularly this area, it is an absolutely fantastic location to travel to many of Spain’s most beautiful cities. We hope you will enjoy our home away from home as much as we do!

For those driving (highly recommended to see the wonderful sights of Spain), Gated and secured parking is located under the building, accessed with a gate opener given with apartment keys at check in. Street parking in front of building J can be uses as well, and often is a much easier way to access the apartment.
This is a very secure location, and access to the building is by key only to enter the lobby/elevator area. Stairs and elevator access take you to the penthouse level. This area is private, secure, and very peaceful.
Pool access to the private community pool area is within the building, through an opposite entrance. Also very secure and safe, to ensure community members use only.
The garden area is immaculately kept, and there is a children’s play area just steps away.

The property hosts multiple pools, lush gardens, and walking paths inside the community around the pool area. Pool hours are posted.

This is our second time staying here and it still never disappoints.Check in is smooth with the benefit of a lockbox As always the accommodation is in a beautiful setting, very well equipped and maintained. The added benefit of the penthouse allows a peaceful/private relaxation in the sun. The new outdoor furniture was also a lovely addition. It always feels like home from home, only much better weather!We had some unexpected plumbing issues that were dealt with promptly and had excellent communication with the owners.The location is idyllic, pool areas are relaxing and the grounds well maintained. This definitely wont be our last stay here again. We look forward to returning again some time next year.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Apartment sehr genossen. Toll eingerichtet, bequeme Betten und klimatisiert. Auch eine sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Agentur und den Besitzern - alle Fragen wurde beantwortet. Kleine Einschränkung ist der Zugang zum Pool. Da die Wohnung im 2. Stock liegt, muss man einen ca. 5 min Weg auf sich nehmen, um den Pool in der Anlage zu erreichen - mal eben einen Kaffee holen ist dauert dann schon. Für den Strandbesuch ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt, vielen Dank dafür an die Besitzer. Alles in allem war es für uns 4 Personen ein toller und erholsamer Urlaub.

Absolutely amazing apartment! Perfect location. Attention to detail was perfect. Loved the amazon technology in all the bedrooms. Gorgeous views from all terraces. Have stayed previously in the Dequesa Fairways apartment, but Brookes is definitely one to beat! Would definitely recommend and will absolutely be returning in the future.

Perfect Vacation Home

We absolutely LOVED Brooke's home in La Duquesa! I cannot say enough about how perfect it was! Beautiful, beyond clean, peaceful. She has paid wonderful attention to detail and has provided everything you will need. It has a warm feeling of staying with people you know. Super comfortable and relaxing. We were very impressed with Brooke's home as well as the complex itself. It was SO well maintained. We enjoyed swimming in the pools and our kids loved playing together at the playground. Brooke and Paul the property manager were extremely helpful and very easy to get a hold of. This is the perfect home to stay in with wonderful hosts. We absolutely cannot wait to come back!!

Ci siamo trovati bene. L’host è stato estremamente cortese e disponibile. La casa era ben arredata e corredata. Si è reso indispensabile l’uso dell’automobile poiché il condominio (ben tenuto) è collocato in altura e dunque distante dal mare e dai servizi. Noi ci siamo stati in agosto e l’acqua del mare era veramente fredda a causa delle correnti provenienti dello stretto di Gibilterra.

Our family fell in love with Spain upon first visit! We knew we wanted to return and began looking for a home that our family could call our second home. Spain is not known for spacious living accommodations, but we wanted a place that our kids and grandkids (someday) could come. We searched many properties, and knew this was ours the moment we walked in. We love the comfortable nature of the property, but the space that our penthouse apartment offers for families. We loved the proximity to the beach and also so many other wonderful sights on the coast. We strive to make your stay so wonderful, you will want to return over and over just as we did! Our home is your home, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

This property is located in a prime spot along the southern coast of Spain. The Costa Del Sol is many miles from Malaga to Gibraltar. The central location allows easy access to some of the most beautiful sights Spain has to offer! We have a saying in the coast, that everything you want to see is 2 hours or less in all directions from our property! Located midway between Malaga and Gibraltar (The Costa del Sol), the location is amazing! Some of Spains most beautiful cities and landscapes are minutes from the doorstep.

Additionally, the distance to the port allows for eating, beach access, and activities within less than 1 mile. The port (Puerto de la Duquesa, 3/4 mile) has more restaurants and shops than you will have time to try in your visit to Spain!

Close proximity to family activities, beaches, adult entertainment (bars/nightclubs), and many other tourist attractions across the Costa del Sol.
