La villa en la ladera tiene fabulosas vistas y mucho espacio, con fácil acceso a la Riviera francesa y Provenza. El pueblo de Figanieres, a cinco minutos en coche o 30 minutos a pie, tiene calles estrechas y una antigua iglesia. La región está llena de pueblos maravillosos, donde la vida rural está prosperando. El centro de la vida del pueblo es el bar (apto para niños). También hay excelentes pastelerías / panaderías, supermercados más pequeños, una oficina de correos, un manantial natural con la mejor agua que jamás haya probado y un centro de información turística. A diez minutos a pie de la casa a través de los viñedos se encuentran las bodegas más cercanas, donde se puede robar la excelente rosa local por 5 euros por botella. En un día despejado se puede ver el Mediterráneo desde el pueblo.

A great holiday holiday

This property and its spacious house is great holiday home. Located in nice surroundings and a calm area to enjoy the holiday. Our kids loved spending time by the nice and spacious pool area. Its very a family friendly property. The trustees are nice people and offers great service, such as a clean pool every day. The checkin process was effortless. Me and my family really enjoyed our two weeks at this venue

Great vacation home

We stayed a week with friends and their kids. The house is great and spacious, the location is quiet but close enough to a bakery and supermarket. The pool and poolside are absolutely stunning and worthwhile the visit.

the perfect stay

From the first contact with the owners, till the departure from this perfect holiday home: everything went perfectly! This house is the textbook example of a holiday home with enough space for all members of our gang, ranging from young kids to adults that needed alone time. The owners even made bicycles and games available which allowed us to visit the neighbourhood or have some fun around the family table. The villa is indeed nicely isolated from other neighbours and is situated in an ultragreen environment. We would recommend this home to any family that is looking for quality time in a peaceful environment or around the luxurious swimming pool :-)!!!

A very nice spot with a great pool

We had a very nice and relaxing time - in particular the great pool did help over the quite hot daytime around noon. Great fun for the children and us. The little town Figanières is sweet and pretty, the small bakery there is actually very good. Great service is provided by the very kind Philippe who comes around each morning to take care of the pool - in particular his pizza extraordinary. We are very happy with our choice and would recommend this place warmly.

Property is just as described, plenty of room for our family of 4. The house had a proper family ‘feel’. There is air con in some rooms but even though it was over 30 most days the house stayed cool. The pool was fabulous.Mark kept in touch and responded very quickly to any concerns. He provided a welcome document which was very useful with local knowledge about places to visit and the best way to get there. Very quiet location and not really near anywhere to walk to so a car is necessary. There were bikes at the property but we didn’t use them. We loved the house and the area and would definitely love to stay here again.

Our group was 4 adults and 2 children and we had a lovely holiday in the villa. The large swimming pool was great and was particularly enjoyed by the children. We also loved the peaceful surroundings, the terrace for dining outside in the evenings and the nearby picturesque village of Figanieres. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed and when we did on one occasion have a problem with the oven, Philippe kindly sorted it out very quickly. We all wished we could have stayed for another week!

Excellent villa

We stayed at the property for a week at the end of August 2024. We did get lost on the way there (completely out fault for putting the wrong address in the SatNav!) and the property manager drove us directly there which was a huge help with 8 of us after a long day of travelling! The house is a great size and the beds were very comfortable. My partner did have an incident with the hot water tap in the shower (it's very hot!) but we learnt to put the cold tap on first before the hot! The pool is absolutely divine! The sloped entrance was ideal for our smallest (5 years) and the surrounding gates were great. The kitchen is very well stocked with plastic and pot crockery, serving dishes, bread baskets etc, there was everything we needed there and more, coffee machine, microwave, oven, BBQ, all very good condition and clean! The location is excellent and we didn't have issues finding out way around. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Wir hatten ein super schönes Ferienhaus mit einem mega Pool. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was man im Alltag benötigt. Die Kinder freuten sich über das Spielzeug was vor Ort war. Das Ferienhaus hat eine gute Lage und man kommt überall unkompliziert hin. In der Nähe (ca. 5 Autominuten) gibt es einen Bäcker und einen Lebensmittelladen.Die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber Marc war super. Er hat uns im Vorfeld sehr viele Informationen zukommen lassen. Leider konnten wir ihn nicht persönlich kennenlernen, aber dafür Geraldine und Philippe die sich vor Ort kümmerten. Phillippe macht tolle Pizzen vor Ort im Steinofen und beide sind mega nett.Wir hatten einen super schönen Urlaub und haben uns rundum sehr wohlgefühlt.

Heerlijke villa en zwembad

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Een fijne villa met veel ruimte in en om het huis, redelijk goede bedden, uitstekende kookvoorzieningen en wat onze jongens het beste vonden; een fijn en ruim zwembad! Zelfs eind april al open! Uiteraard wel wat fris. Uitstekende communicatie met de host en lokale beheerder. We zouden zo weer boeken!

Beaux moments dans un endroit calme et reposant

L’arrivée c’est très bien déroulée, les explications ainsi que la flexibilité quand à l’heure d’arriver à été très apprécié. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison, elle était spacieuse et équipé de la bonne manier selon les photos et le descriptif. La propreté laissait un peu perplexe à certain endroit, mais dans l’ensemble était correct. Lors d’un gros orage nous avons été surpris par une infiltration d'eau dans le halle d’entrée avec pour conséquence nos affaires détrempé. La piscine était vraiment bien entretenue! Nous recommandons pleinement cet établissement, mais il devrait être entretenu et le nettoyage (cuisine + WC ) devrait être plus soigné.

En super uge med perfekt pool

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i huset i uge 31 - lige fra ankomst til afrejse. Vi var 6 voksne og 3 teenager, og huset fungerede rigtig godt - og trods manglende aircondition fornuftig temperatur trods varmt udenfor. Poolen er stor - god at spille i og fungerede rigtig godt med liggestole mv. Beliggenheden fungerede godt for os med daglig gåtur til bageren - ca. en time frem og tilbage. Besøg nærliggende vingård dag 1 - lækker rosevind til billige penge.

Nous avons passer des vacances de rêve dans cette maison provençale,une petite suggestion purement personnel au gentil propriétaire Mr Yates un petit hamac à l ombre pour faire la sieste entre midi et deux heures,pour le reste ,la piscine ,la maison , le jardin, le barbecue,le four a pizza ,le piano de la cuisine ,et l accueil de Géraldine et Philippe qui prennent soin des vacanciers il n y a aucune fausses notes ,je n imagine pas ne pas retourner dans ce havre de paix ,merci encore et à bientôt je l'espère.

Formidable séjour en famille

Si vous cherchez une maison de vacances où vous pourrez vous détendre entre amis et en famille et profiter de l'autre et de la beauté de la Provence... ne cherchez pas plus loin ! nous avons apprécié cette grande villa pendant 14 jours avec des chambres spacieuses, 3 salles de bains (luxe) une grande cuisine avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, une belle terrasse avec le soleil du matin mais seulement de l'ombre (idéal) De plus, cette villa dispose d'une piscine fantastique où il c'était bien de se rafraichir... La villa est située dans les belles collines de Provence... se réveiller avec les oiseaux et s'endormir au son des grillons... on ne peut que fortement recommander ce villa!

Erwartungen übertroffen

Meistens sind Bilder aus Prospekten schöner als die Wahrheit. Bei der Villa "Serendipity" wurden die Erwartungen übertroffen. Eine großzügige Villa mit allem ausgestattet was für eine 11-köpfige Familie mit Personen von 11 bis 68 Jahren notwendig ist und einen erholsamen Urlaub garantiert. Wir haben uns zu Hause und von Philippe und Geraldine sehr gut betreut gefühlt. Es gab absolut keine Probleme im Haus und Garten, deswegen konnten wir freundliche Hilfe der beiden leider nicht in Anspruch nehmen. Wir würden gerne wieder in dieser Villa wohnen und können sie wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

een droomzwembad, ideaal voor alle leeftijden, in een rustige omgeving en een subliem uitzicht aan het terras, ook bedankt voor de 4 fietsen, in de morgen naar de bakker rijden met de fiets langs de wijngaarden in onvergetelijk. het huis heef alles wat nodig is voor een goede vakantie, nog bedankt Phillippe voor het vriendelijk ontvangst.

Super séjour, nous reviendrons !

Cette maison correspond exactement à la description. Tout est bien insonorisé, et cela permet aux enfants de dormir le soir sans être dérangé par les adultes. La piscine est magnifique et bien entretenue. Même si en ouvrant les fenêtres aux bonnes heure et en utilisant les ventilateurs nous pouvons avoir une fraîcheur dans les chambres. Il serait agréable d’y avoir également l’air conditionnée. Ce serait également chouette d’avoir un congélateur dans la cuisine pour éviter les trajets dans la buanderie, surtout qu’il y a la place. Pour le reste l’endroit est génial et super bien fait pour les enfants. Nous y retournerons avec très grand plaisir ! Merci pour tout. La famille Jacques

Bonjour notre appréciation est en demi teinte : Cote piscine c’est le top , coté accueil des gérants extraordinaire de gentillesse , coté situation géographique parfaite au calme retirer mais proche de tous les commerces . Hélas le gite comporte un gros problème le voisinage , le voisin le plus proche nous interdit d’écouter de la musique de faire du bruit dans la piscine etc.....et ce pas que le soir après 22H mais en permanence . Et si vous respectez pas les consignes du voisin c’est la police municipale qui vient vous le rappeller .!! Coté agencement pas de cafetière et une table extérieur cassé ( qui fut changer pendant le séjour ) alors adepte du silence total vous seraez heureux les autres je vous déconseille ce gite

Nous avons été désolés d'apprendre que la police a été appelée à la maison. Il nous est difficile de juger si vous étiez trop bruyant ou non. Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que la police n'a jamais visité notre maison auparavant. J'espère que vos vacances ont été encore agréables.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage, mit großem Pool

Schönes großes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage, mit schönem großen Pool. Die Beschreibung des Feriendomizils ist genauso wie angegeben. Ausflüge an die Côte d’Azur dauern 45 Minuen bis 1,2 Stunden, wenn man bis Monaco oder in die Berge - Gorges du Verdon - möchte...wir hatten einen gelungenen und erholsamen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus...empfehlen es gerne weiter.

Prachtig zwembad , mooie omgeving , huis mag in zijn eer hersteld worden.

Een prachtig zwembad , daar valt weinig op aan te merken . Jammer van de lounge die er niet meer was. Terras en bijhorende tafels en stoelen hebben nood aan vernieuwing. Super vriendelijke ontvangst van Philippe en Geraldine. Het huis heeft verschillende kleine gebreken wat wel jammer is. Voor de rest wel een ruime en aangename woning. Pizza oven is top!

Hallo Bjorn, we zijn blij om te horen dat je genoten hebt van je verblijf. Onze excuses dat we het meubilair niet op tijd hebben kunnen vervangen. Ik denk dat vanwege COVID de winkels deze zomer niet op voorraad waren en we niet snel geschikte vervangingen konden vinden. Laat me ook weten welke kleine gebreken je in het huis hebt gevonden, zodat we ervoor kunnen zorgen dat ze worden gerepareerd. Beste wensen!

Fantastische week in mooie omgeving

Ruime woning met alles aanwezig om een fijne vakantie te beleven. Ruim zwembad met de zon de hele dag aanwezig, zowel 's morgens als 's avond mogelijkheid om buiten te eten en de gas BBQ werd dagelijks gebruikt, zeker met een grote groep is dit een plus punt. Villa Serendipity has the perfect quiet and secluded location tucked in the Provencal foothills, 35 minutes' drive from the French Riviera and an hour from Nice airport.
Thirty minutes drive to the north, you are surrounded by serious mountains -- the gorge at the Parc Natural Regional Du Verdun is spectacular. There’s plenty of water sports, hiking and skiing (in winter) in the area.
Serendipity is a spacious, gated home surrounded by vineyards, farmland and woodland offering great views across the valley and the mountains beyond. With a large, secluded private swimming pool, extensive grounds and charming villages all around, many visitors don't stray far.

The large house and grounds are great to host groups such as an artists' retreat and cyclists, particularly those stopping along the EuroVelo 8 Mediterranean Route, which passes close to the property. The nearest winery is a beautiful ten minute walk. The grounds are large enough for epic games of petanque. The pool is significantly larger than most private pools but still accessible to the youngest and oldest because of the shallow sloped area at one end.
