Nuestra fabulosa villa de 4 dormitorios es excelente, ubicada en una exclusiva zona residencial llamada Viscondado de Cabanyes, Villa Florencia está situada en una parcela plana extra grande con privacidad en un maravilloso jardín con vistas panorámicas y sol desde la mañana hasta el atardecer. A diez minutos en coche de las playas de arena locales, restaurantes, gran bahía mediterránea con muchos cafés, a cinco minutos de Calonge medieval.

Nuestra villa está registrada en la Oficina de Turismo de Saint Antoni de Calonge y en la oficina oficial del Gobierno de Catalunya HUTG 016034

La villa está equipada con wifi rápido para hasta 10 dispositivos, TV con Wi-Fi y una nueva Wii U para los niños.

La hermosa costa, que se extiende a lo largo de tres kilómetros hasta Palamós, presenta una gran bahía de arena blanca, perfecta para familias, donde puedes caminar o deslizarte por el paseo marítimo bien diseñado y detenerte en restaurantes familiares de buena calidad y áreas infantiles en el camino.

Bellamente amueblada con una nueva habitación en la planta baja: un baño privado con aire acondicionado, nuestra villa cuenta con cómodas camas con ropa de cama Zara Home, Designers Guild y Christy, otras dos habitaciones conducen a una gran terraza con vistas a las Gavarras, donde hay un mosaico mesa y sillas para disfrutar de las vistas, hay dos dormitorios arriba y un dormitorio en la planta baja con baño en la planta baja.

El dormitorio de la planta baja con baño tiene su propio patio con vistas a la piscina.

Un salón de planta abierta conduce a una gran área de cocina equipada con una nueva placa de inducción AEG, horno nuevo, nueva nevera Smeg y lavadora. Un salón acristalado es perfecto para cenar con vistas a la piscina, con luces encendidas por la noche y proporciona sombra durante el día.

La parte superior del jardín da a la piscina y tiene vistas panorámicas de las colinas con una gran terraza también ideal para cenar. Bajando cuatro escalones se encuentra el área de la piscina, una piscina de 8m x 4m con Roman Steps, ideal para niños pequeños y ducha climatizada al aire libre, que es genial para los niños de arena después de la playa.

Alrededor de la piscina hay muchas zonas para tomar el sol y sentarse con vistas a las hermosas vistas de las Gavarras, hay sombra bajo la palmera, sombrillas y persianas.

Desde la piscina, bajando 5 escalones hay un área sombreada con mimosas y un sauce. Al costado de la casa, hay un área sombreada con césped en pendiente junto a un almacén donde puede encontrar hamacas, sillas, equipos de playa, columpios, futbolín, scooter y aro de baloncesto.

Dentro hay una variedad de juegos, libros, televisión wifi que muestra canales del Reino Unido, Wii U, DVD, guías locales, libros y mapas de la zona.

Las habitaciones se abren a la terraza de arriba, ideal para tomar una copa por la noche con los niños en la cama, todas las habitaciones tienen ventiladores de techo, cómodas camas Ikea con buenos colchones y sábanas de buena calidad para una noche de sueño confortable. El otro dormitorio de la planta baja con baño es ideal para padres / abuelos y tiene su propia terraza y puerta que da a la piscina.

Nice house, beautiful area and amazing pool

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very nice and ideal for families (we were 5 adults and 1 child) The area is beautiful; close to the beach and the Dalí museum (everybody interrested in history and art should go there!) Sue has been so helpful and kind. If you are planing a holiday in Spain - this is the place!

Beautiful location, spacious accommodation

An amazing property, very well maintained and extremely clean with beautiful views of trees all around. So peaceful, with the wonderful sound of bird song and frogs for company. The accommodation is spacious with everything on hand to make our stay comfortable. A very short drive to the beach and to local medieval town with a superb local restaurant offering delicious traditional food.

Great holiday - ideal for exploring & relaxing

I stayed in Villa Florencia for ten days in May and loved the area. The villa is beautifully furnished with everything you could need and an enormous amount of information about the local area, maps and activities. The villa has beautiful views overlooking the hills of the Gavarres and is a peaceful and unspoilt part of the Costa Brava, the gardens are especially beautiful. The managing agents were ever so helpful and friendly, and the owner had given me excellent directions and very useful suggestions of places to visit. I would definitely return as Villa Florencia is a great base for exploring from St Feliux to Calella. I loved Tamariu especially, a beautiful cove and easy to reach. A great holiday!

Highly recommended accommodation

Villa Florencia is set on the side of a beautiful valley with great views of the hills opposite. The setting, with plenty of greenery, a feeling of space and the sound of birdsong, makes for a relaxing stay. The garden is a good size facing the right way for the sun and there's a variety of shrubs and trees which make it a very pleasant place to spend time in. The pool, which will be ready for this summer (2014), will make the house ideal for a family stay. The house itself is very well equipped, clean and well maintained. We found the beds comfortable and the spacious downstairs area perfect for eating and relaxing in the evening. There are books to borrow and other personal touches like pictures and a few (not too many) ornaments which add to the style and comfort. Two of the bedrooms open up onto a terrace which is a wonderful place to sit for that first cup of tea in the morning, to have a quiet read during the day or to make the most of the warm evenings. At any time of day it's a great place to unwind. The conservatory downstairs is also a lovely spot. We found that the house had everything we needed and was a delight to stay in. The surrounding area has a lot to offer - we loved the beaches, the coastal walks and the many cafes and restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend a stay in Villa Florencia and am looking forward to booking again.

Cette villa très bien équipée a tout le confort pour passer de merveilleuses vacances. La vue est magnifique, la piscine de belle taille est bien entretenue, le quartier est très calme et nous a permis un sejour serein et reposant, avec le seul bruit des oiseaux. Notre hôte et son representant sur place sont aux petits soins si on a besoin d'eux. La situation de la villa est ideale, à quelques minutes de Platja de Aro et de S'Agaro. Les chambres avec climatisation, salles de bains et terrasses privatives sont vraiment agréables en été. Nous recommandons cette adresse, en famille ou entre amis. The view is magnificent, the good-sized pool is well-maintained, the neighborhood is very quiet and allowed us a serene and relaxing stay, with only the sound of birds. Our host and his on-site representative are very attentive if we need them. The location of the villa is ideal, a few minutes from Platja de Aro and S'Agaro. The bedrooms with air conditioning, bathrooms, and private terraces are really pleasant in summer. We recommend this address, for families or friends. Mijn overleden man, die volledig rolstoelgebonden was, kon door het huis navigeren door de voordeur uit te gaan en de helling af te dalen naar het huis/zwembad. Maar ik waardeer het dat het huis vier trappen heeft naar de keuken/woonkamer.

Déçu du standing de la maison , au regard du prix

Plusieurs problèmes rencontrés, pouvant être liés à défaut de standing et/ou de maintenance (électroménager non fiable ) - panne du système électrique, en raison d'un lave vaiselle défaillant . - plaques de cuisson dysfonctionnantes (s'éteignent après 5 mn de mise en route ). Par ailleurs: - présence de nombreuses fourmis dans la maison. - nous n'avons pas été averti de la présence de cochons sauvages pouvant rentrer dans le jardin; sur ce dernier point , la porte du jardin ferme très mal et leur donne un accès facile; ils peuvent également sauter par dessus le mur qui est très bas; les poubelles ont été retrouvées éparpillées dans le jardin , secondairement à leur intrusion; les voisins ont tous un crochet pour maintenir les poubelles en hauteur pour éviter ce genre d'incident, cette maison n'en à pas !(trop cher?) - il n'y a aucun passage du camion poubelle dans cette rue, imposant d'apporter les ordures à la déchetterie! Les points positifs sont: - la piscine et la vue exceptionnelle. - la situation de la propriété au calme. Compte tenu du prix, la maison est décevante au niveau des prestations de base, car il est important pendant un court séjour ( 7 jours), de ne pas avoir à faire face à des pannes , des soucis matériels de la vie quotidienne...; c'est dommage , car malgré le dépaysement lié à la situation de la maison et à cette belle région, ces désagréments matériels nous ont empêché d'être totalement serein. La prochaine fois, je fonctionnerai avec les agences locales moins chères , qui maîtrisent peut être mieux les prestations au niveau de la location.

The guest seemed unable to work the induction hob, which previous guests and my family have never had a problem with, it is true, the dishwasher did have a problem during his stay, which affected the electrics, we replaced it immediately with a new one. There were no other issues with any electrical items, all the white goods are new within the last 5 years. The wild boars are present in the region, they do come near to the houses, and unfortunately do sometimes take the rubbish with them, we ask guests to go to the bins themselves which is a relatively normal procedure with most rentals. We have ensured the gate closes and have made the wall higher as a precaution.

Beautiful and quiet family getaway

We stayed at Sue's villa in the beginning of July and really enjoyed our stay. The house is well furnished, very clean, situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood a short distance from the sea and the village of Calonge. The terasse and the pool are just magnificent and we spent most of our time there the days we stayed in Sue was a very gracious host and answered questions very quickly. Her neighbor, Ron, was very helpful in showing us around the house. A few things to keep in mind: - you will need a car to get anywhere, even to go to the supermarket - there is no central air conditioning. Only 2 bedrooms have it so keep that in mind if you plan to rent during the hottest periods - there are a LOT of mosquitoes in Spain. Buy good repellent spray and repellent candles to enjoy the terasse and the poolside

Een heerlijk huis op een top locatie

We hebben twee weken genoten van het fijne huis en het prachtige zwembad. Genoeg stranden om uit te kiezen en leuke plaatsen dichtbij dus voor iedereen genoeg te doen. Het huis is rustig gelegen en heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Kortom een aanrader voor een relaxte vakantie in de Costa Brava.

Lovely villa. with perfect pool. and beautiful views - you can happily spend time there! Shops a short drive away and Palamos port is gorgeous with prom and stunning sunsets, plenty of restaurants- up the steps to old town with its many tapas bars at every turn is like going into another world and only 10 mins drive away. Great communication from Sue. Well looked after by Ron who gave great advice on places to visit. Ideally located to visit La Fosca,, Pals medieval town and beach and Tossa de Mar which despite the name is absolutely beautiful. although the coastal road over the mountains with incredible views is not for the faint hearted (can be reached via main road). Perfect holiday with lots of quality family time!

Sehr schöne barrierefreie Finca

der Kontakt mit Sue war wirklich perfekt, eine sehr nette Frau. Das Haus liegt ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse und geht über zwei Etagen, das EG ist barrierefrei. Der Garten und Pool war sehr sauber und gepflegt, alle zwei Tage kam der Poolboy und einmal die Woche der Gärtner. Im Haus ist wirklich alles zufinden was man braucht, ich denke es wird auch privat viel genutzt weil wirklich alles im Haus zu finden war, sehr angenehm wenn man nicht wegen vergessenen Spülmaschienentabs oder Klopapier nochmal los muss. Es gibt Klimaanlagen in zweien der 4 Schlafzimmer, jedes andere ist mit einem Ventilator ausgestattet

Exceptional!! Wonderful house, home from home!!

We had a fabulous two weeks in Sues wonderful home, as soon as we arrived it felt so welcoming and the house was first class, everything was there that you needed , the rooms were decorated beautifully and very spacious and the pool was excellent , it really was home from home!!!.The views from the villa are beautiful and so quiet,the house is situated end of a quiet cul de sac, Ron who lives opposite was there if required and was very helpful, thank you. There are so many beautiful areas around here, we loved Palamos, Platja D'Aro,Calogne, S'Agura,San Antoni to name a few ,the beaches were excellent.We have visited many parts of Spain but we hall agreed this was the best region we had visited and it made it even more special by staying at Villa Florencia and would love to return, thank you Sue

Terrific Time

The moment we arrived we felt like we had come home, clean and tidy and very well appointed. The property has everything you could want to feel comfortable. It was great to have a few things waiting in the fridge for us on arrival and I loved the fact there were herbs and spices available to use when cooking. The wifi was excellent which was great as we needed it for some house hunting we were doing. The location is quiet and the views beautiful, and only a 5 minute drive and you are in Calonge. Our local contact Ron Connolly couldn't be more helpful and we enjoyed his sense of humour immensely. Thank you Sue Wallis for a superb property. Micky B

April in Cabanyes

Nice property situated in a quiet location with easy access to main road. Wealth of information provided by Sue (owner) which is very useful and help us. The pool was very popular even though we were there in April, a bit cold. Calogne was also a very nice medieval town and we just missed their festival by 1 day.

Noel au soleil à la villa florencia

Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour dans la maison de Sue. La maison est parfaite, nous étions 4 adultes et 2 adolescents. Une cuisine intégrée avec tout le confort nécessaire nous a permis de préparer notre réveillon de noël 2016. Le jardin paysagé est magnifique, nous avons pu passer d'agréables moments dans les transats au bord de la superbe piscine, avec la vue sur les collines, sans aucun vis à vis. Sue est toujours joignable est répond rapidement par mail. Nous avons vraiment ressenti que Sue met tout en oeuvre pour que ses hôtes passent un agréable séjour. Merci encore de la confiance que vous nous avez témoignée en nous permettant de séjourner dans votre villa ! Pour les français qui hésitent, Sue maîtrise Google translate et les échanges de mails en français ne posent aucun problème.

Lovely Home From Home, With A Fabulous Pool & Beautiful Views!

We stayed in October 2016 Half Term. The Villa was an easy 40 minute drive from Girona Airport. We didn't land until 8.30pm, a quick phone call & we were met by the agent, who showed us around the villa. The Villa is located at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, with beautiful views over the mountains. It's very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay, especially with young children. There is a huge amount of information available, in the villa, about the surrounding area & we enjoyed exploring the local beaches, our favourites were Llafranc & Calella in Palafrugell. The weather was still warm enough to sunbath, enjoy the swimming pool and even swim in the Sea! Sue & the Agents reply to messages really quickly, which is reassuring too.

4 ladies escaping the housework, husbands and kids for 3 nights! We were in heaven! Did a shop in the near by Aldi on route to the villa from airport - stocked up for the weekend and needn't have left the property. Was so gorgeous, I really want to go, maybe with the kids and hubby! ;o) the pool is devine, the property is perfect (maybe a waiter to top up our drinks while laying round the pool would have been nice!), and the views are stunning. loved every part our stay, Sue is wonderful and Ron was lovely - he and his wife live opposite and met us on our arrival, gave us a quick tour and popped by to check all was okay over the weekend. We went to Palamos and Platja d'aro - both lovely though the later my favourite. Thank you SO much Sue, I really would love to come back again. 10 out of 10, 5 stars! xxx

Thank you for such a lovely review! We are so glad that it was all perfect and you enjoyed a girly getaway in the house for a weekend. May have to take up the waiter idea for poolside relaxation! Lidl is easy isn't it and Ron and Dor are such stars - they are there if needed which is so important. I like Platja D'Aro too, great shops and boutiques, restaurants and just the right amount of nightlife, laid back but with something going on for everyone. You are very welcome to return to soak up the pool and views again!!

delightfully refreshing stay in catalonia

Well what can I say? Superb villa, relaxing views, cool pool, sun all day long, dinner on the terrace, drinks on the balcony and much more. Not only does this villa have everything you could need and want but it is located right near to palamos which is one of the coolest and friendliest seaside towns I have been to. You do need a car...believe me I attempted to run up the hill, well lets just say I walked in the end. The rooms are spacious and although this is a big villa the two of us didnt feel like we were rattling around in it. You will need your own towels, only if you're a bit like me and you like big ones. But luckily we bought our own. Ron and Doreen were always on hand to help but gave us our privacy and weren't at all nosy. The villa isn't overlooked but I did worry a tad about being noisy for the neighbours. Overall I couldn't fault our stay. Never been to Catalonia but I absolutely would go back. Highly recommend tapas in the square in palamos. Experience of a lifetime Ron will tell you about it and the best supermarket is undoubtedly suma in calogne, the rotisserie next to it is incredible. Make sure you visit palafrugall as its so beautiful. Enjoy!

There are plenty of big towels in the laundry! Just ask Doreen - Ron and Doreen are so friendly and helpful!! They can usually sort something out! urlaub pur

wir hatten einen sehr schönen urlaub in diesem sehr schönen haus mit einem tollen garten. der neugebaute pool ist fantastisch, die ausstattung des anwesens sehr komplett. wir haben tolle ausflüge in der umgebung gemacht, die küste erkundet und sehr die naheliegenden strände genossen. öfters waren wir abends in schönen bars und tollen restaurants in der umgebung unterwegs. besonders gut gefallen dabei hat uns das städtchen palamos mit seinen shopping und ausgehmöglichkeiten. in verbindung mit diesem schönen haus ist die gegend um st. antoni auf jeden fall einen toller urlaubs-tipp

Lovely villa, gorgeous location

Wonderful villa in gorgeous location at the end of the road, so quiet and peaceful. Absolutely beautiful views over the hillsides. Lovely pool and terraces with plenty of space in nicely landscaped gardens. We enjoyed evening BBQs with jugs of sangria, watching the sun go down over the hills. Nice interior with everything needed for holiday stay. Very handy for the highway with lots of lovely little towns and villages to explore. We found lots of picturesque coves and also ventured further afield to Cadaques ( gorgeous ) and the Dali museum in Figueres (definitely worth a visit ). We had already visited Barcelona so tended to explore north of the villa rather than south. No hesitation in recommending this villa and the owner and agents were extremely helpful when we had questions about restaurants etc

The beautiful beaches are easily reached, only a ten minute drive away, while the views of the Gavarres and peaceful outlook with the glorious garden and pool is so relaxing to return to after a days sightseeing. The villa is on a flat large garden enjoying sun all day, with shade provided with sunshades and roll down blinds on the patio. Everyone who visits agrees that it is a special villa in Cabanyes.
