Perfect Family Villa
We rented the top villa which was more than adequate for our family. The villa is well laid out, clean and had everything we needed. The pool was an absolute gem. Delightful temperature, again crystal clean, lots of space and nice views. We will be going back!!
Couldn't have been nicer! Already booked it again.
Fantastic holiday fantastic property
I arrived with my wife daughter her husband and two grandchildren aged 9 and 11, we had been give full instructions on how to get there, and on our arrival we found the Villa exactly as advertised, upstairs had every amenity you would require for a young family, and fully air conditioned which is a huge asset when abroad, full and concise instructions on how to use all electronic equipment, the downstairs Villa was pure luxury and meant the wife and I could have our own space when required (concept of separate villas for both families is genius) the pool is massive, and a shade area when you have had enough sun, huge barbecue for dining in nights which we had a few, and not to forget the spa tub , which even the kids enjoyed. When I go on holiday I want to chill out, this property provides this and more, Dave the owner is always a call or an E mail away or is caretaker Paul if you need anything sorted, even the neighbours are friendly and helpful, I would throughly recommend this property and hope to return next summer, five star plus for me
Perfect get away location
Don't usually read reviews but seeing the last one, felt some balance was necessary. This was our 7th stay in the last few years and as always provided an excellent holiday venue. Despite earlier comments, the villa was very clean, with the upstairs having been re-decorated very recently. I guess we can all think of things that can go wrong - that's all part of a holiday. However, whenever we have had an issue, a call to the managing agent always resolves whatever the concern might be. Already booked for next May and will probably book for September as well. Can't say any more than that! Sylvia & Peter.
Not as expected.
Communication with the owner was good during the booking process. However, the property was not what we expected. We hired the upstairs (2 adults and 3 children) and downstairs (2 adults), our youngest child could not use the camp bed as it would not fit in either of the two upstairs bedrooms. The property was not clean by our standards and was definitely not well maintained inside or out. We found our stay awkward. It was not child friendly, we were also unable to use the hot tub during our 11 day stay as it kept tripping out. We did not find the property management team to be very welcoming on arrival or helpful during our stay. We would not recommend this property to a friend or relative.
This is the first negative review we have received in 12 years of renting our home , firstly why if you had a problem were we not contacted ? To say that the home is not child friendly is exceptionaly false , To say that you could not use the child bed as its would not fit in the bedroom is grossly misleading ,as the bedroom is 18ft x15ft The upstairs villa is on a flat level with the entrance ,there are steps to the pool area which is normal in a double large villa ,it's your responsibility to look after your children.
Regarding the Spa you were asked not to put all the pumps /blower and heater on at the same time as Spanish electricity is restricted to the amount to can use ,and if it tripped out it takes 10seconds to trip back in .
The management company have been running their buisness in Spain for more than 10 years ,without complaint so to say it was not up to standard is misleading as the lower villa is less than two years old ,and the upstairs was redecorated throughout in March, I therefor reject your review completely .i have since checked with the management company and found that you were the clients who went and looked at the villa last time you were there, and STILL BOOKED!!!!! Also you didn't mention that you arranged to be met but then turned up 1.5 hrs late and wondered the agent was a bit off
Guardama's 8 mile sandy beach is 10 min drive (8km) away, it has a multitude of shops ,cafes , restaurants and children's play areas,Parking is free and very close to the beach.
Fly to Aliante airport , and the villa is 40 km south 30 min drive. Our car is available at the airport or taxis can take you to the villa
Quesada covers a large area ,with the main shopping centre being 5 km. The local shopping centre is 3 min drive away and Rojales town 5 min drive.
La Zena one of Spain's largest shopping centres with hundreds of every type of shop is 20 min drive away.
One of the main attractions of our villa is the huge pool and spa with plenty of sunbathing space for more than a dozen visitors.
