Villa Petra is a three bedroom villa with a private pool located in a quiet place called Zastolje in the region of Konavle. Ten kilometres north from it is Cavtat and 30 kilometres Croatian pearl town Dubrovnik.This house offers a perfect and peaceful holiday for anyone looking for a getaway from their usual responsibilites and jobs. Konavle is a region with particular natural beauties and contrasts: mountain and valley, green hills and naked stone, it is well–known for characteristic atmosphere,customs and folklore and particularly for their candid, cordial and cheerful hosts.

We are happy to help You with any questions regarding our villa or the stay in general, so please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.

We had an absolutely amazing family holiday at villa Petra. It is surrounded by the most beautiful views and is a must for a quiet family get away. Dubrovnik old town, Cavtat and all the other fantastic locations are all easily accessible via the use of a hire car. A perfect host which had left us gifts on arrival and throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more from our holiday,it was perfect!!

A lovely villa in a beautiful, peaceful location. Petra's tips for places to visit and to eat were really useful. A good range of food and drink was waiting for us on arrival to get us started, and Petra's dad also kindly left us treats every other morning when he came over (early, before we woke) to clean the pool. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week in Villa Petra - all the reviews are true!! Our 6 year old son loved the pool which was a lovely temperature and kept very clean. The treats left for us on the pool cleaning days were wonderful. Thank you to the owners. We can’t recommend this villa enough.

The villa is very practical, with a beautiful view, fantastic garden for a family and a large pool, very well maintained by the father of the host.The owner was very nice, making us feel very welcome and providing very good advises as to what to see or do in the area. this was definitely one of our best rental on Abritel. Fantastic location, villa and hosts

Family had a lovely holiday at the villa. Location is perfect within easy reach of airport and other tourist spots. Hosts are amazing, on arrival was met by Petra and family shown round villa, given tips on where to visit and as welcome we we're left some lovely food and wine. Would definitely stay again and hope to come back next year.

Stunning location, wonderful villa and host

Villa had everything we could possibly need as a family of four. Table tennis and swimming pool (regularly cleaned) made it extra special. Lots of vegan treats too - thank you very much Petra - to you and your Dad - for looking after us so well.

Simply the best.

This has got to be the nicest villa we have ever stayed at in 45 years of travelling. It was peaceful and private and we were unable to think of any suggestion to improve it. It was lovely that whenever Petra’s father came to clean the pool ( early most mornings) he left good and drink treats. The pool was incredible and we loved the dragonflies that patrolled and picked off the flying insects. It is convenient for Dubrovnik. Cavtat and Montenegro. Absolutely perfect.

What a gorgeous stay we had!!

Loved everything about this villa, the pool and views were just spectacular. The location was so peaceful but close enough to all amenities and wonderful beaches. Our hosts looked after us so well without us feeling any intrusion. Thank you for the lovely gifts and care. We have stayed in many villas and this is the best. I would recommend this without hesitation and we will hopefully be back soon.

Villa Petra

I would highly recommend a holiday at this beautiful villa . The villa was beautiful, very clean with incredible views and a superb pool. We were very well looked after by Petra and her Dad who were very generous hosts. The villa is superbly situated in a quiet village, yet close to all the amenities of Cavtat, Molunat and Dubrovnik. We had 3 teenagers with us and had a fabulous holiday as there was something for everyone.

Amazing stay at villa Petra, everything was perfect and the lovely tray of food and wine left for us when we arrived late was very much appreciated. Petra’s dad very kindly left treats for us every time he cleaned the pool. Brilliant hosts,Lovely quiet location but you could drive everywhere quite easily. We will be back!

Highly recommend

We had a wonderful holiday at this immaculate villa, well equipped with gorgeous pool and gardens,in a superb location with easy access to Montenegro as well as the beautiful resorts in Croatia. Wonderful and generous hosts, leaving a stocked fridge for our first evening and regular gifts of ice creams and other goodies. Pool was cleaned every other day by Petra’s dad. Location stunning scenery. A car is definitely needed, but the peace and quiet of the location made for a relaxing holiday. One of the best places we have stayed.

Wonderful Stay

We had such a lovely stay at Villa Petra. Petra and her family were wonderful hosts, meeting us from the airport, leaving us with a wonderfully stocked fridge and taking tine to show is where all the local sights were. We couldnt have asked for more! Our boys appreciated the lovely ice creams Petras dad left for us all and spent hours and hours in the pool! You do need a car but the villa is conveniently located and surrounded by breathtaking countryside. Thanks so much! X

Villa Petra

A lovely villa in a very peaceful and beautiful spot. The villa was spacious, clean and well furnished. The garden and pool were lovely. It is 5 min drive from small supermarkets and a pizza place, 20 min from an amazing beach, 30 min from a small town with lots of restaurants and boat transfers to Dubrovnik. The hosts were so helpful - met us on arrival and took us to the villa and also responded to questions on text message. Every other day when they cleaned the pool they'd also leave us a small gift of food which was really kind - cherries, chocolates. We’d definitely recommend this villa and would definitely go back.

Just perfect

Everything about this villa was amazing, Really comfortable (air conditioning was super effective!), well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pool and games room got a lot of use and we had a great week exploring a beautiful part of Croatia. The villa was so peaceful with stunning views all around. Petra was a wonderful host, responding very quickly and providing great advice and information. It was such a pleasure to arrive to a stocked fridge with a lovely spread of local produce and we really appreciated the gifts left every time Petra’s father cleaned the pool, as well as fresh apples from the orchard. As the title of the review says ……..just perfect.

Best villa ever. Owners were fantastic.

The villa itself was amazing. A superb location, private, with a spectacular view over vineyards, with mountains behind. The house was spotless, with everything for a perfect stay. The pool was fantastic too, and not overlooked. The owners were brilliant and helpful beyond anything we could have hoped for. They cleaned the pool every other day, early in the morning - long before we were up - and left kind treats for us. When our daughter was ill, they arranged a doctor's appointment and accompanied us there. We couldn't have hoped for a better holiday. Thank-you.

Beautiful location, lovely property

The property was in a stunning location and the views from the balcony and pool were amazing. The house was in a convenient position relatively close to the airport, supermarkets and the lovely town of Cavtat, with Dubrovnik easily accessible by boat or car. The pool was super clean, and pool table and table tennis table were brilliant and much used. The property was nice inside, modern and well equipped with much needed air-conditioning. There was also a BBQ which was great, but because the main accommodation was on the first floor and the BBQ was on the ground floor there was a bit of ferrying food up and down when we used it. Petra was lovely to deal with and very responsive. We had a brilliant holiday.

Croatian Classic

Hard to express fully how positively I feel about my stay. The house itself is in a quiet, private, rural location, but only a short drive from Gruda, and a 15 minute drive from Dubrovnik Airport and Cavtat, and a half hour from Dubrovnik itself. Thr house was immaculately clean and we were welcomed by the host very warmly; we felt extremely well-provided for both in terms of information and advice from Petra, but also in terms of little welcoming extras which made us feel genuinely looked-after. I can't praise the hosts enough. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped for relaxing, cooking and eating, and was a fantastically-located base for exploring the wider region - Konavle, the Dubrovnik riviera, up to Ston and Peljesac, as well as crossing the border to Montenegro. Without hesitation, would book again and return!

Fabulous Villa

We had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful Villa. Villa Petra is spotless clean and in the perfect location with stunning views. It’s very well equipped with a beautiful garden and pool area for a relaxing stay. There is a fabulous beach a short drive away, a bakery in the village and a couple of supermarkets with all you need. There were bikes at the Villa to use and we did cycle to the bakery one morning for fresh goods. On arrival at the Villa we were left a lovely welcome of meat and cheese, wine, olive oil, milk, butter, bread and a homemade liqueur, everything you could possibly need. Petra was very helpful and her father came to clean the pool every other morning and very kindly would leave us, wine, juice, ice cream and beer. I can’t rate this property highly enough it was perfect and Petra and her parents went above and beyond. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Fantastic place to chill out

A wonderful property set in a fantastic location. A car is necessary but the journey from the main highway isn't too far or difficult. Petra and her family looked after us from start to finish. They were very welcoming and got us settled in. The gifts left by Petra's father were a really nice touch and greatly appreciated. The property itself has all you need for a self catering holiday. We loved the pool and the games tables. We also got to know the neighbours and their two friendly dogs. The nearby shops have a sufficient range but I would recommend talking a trip to the Lidl which is an easy 30 min drive away. Nearby restaurants were nice and food was good everywhere we tried. I would definitely recommend the property and the area especially if what you are after is a chilled break and are prepared to drive a bit to see the sights.

Out of this world

This villa is seriously out of this world!!!! The location is absolutely stunning - lush green views to enjoy from the veranda or by the pool (or my favourite spot, on the swing seat under the tree)Definitely need a car but so easy driving here, not a problem (Montenegro a different story!). The airport is only 20 mins away but hardly ever see/hear planes. Dubrovnik an easy drive and the car park Petra recommended was easy to find and plenty of space. Molunat a lovely little fishing village just down the road and we absolutely loved Cavtat.But as other reviews have mentioned, the absolute stars of the show are Petra and her Dad. Nothing was too much trouble for Petra, she was always available for any tips/suggestions. And her dear Dad kept the pool spotlessly clean and left lots of treats. Such a lovely touch from our Croatian Father Christmas!I’ve only ever stayed at company managed villas before and the difference in attention was incredible - to meeting us to guide us back to the villa, leaving a beautiful food platter for our first night and the smaller details like leaving lots of decent quality toilet paper, kitchen towel, bin bags etc Things that don’t sound much but really make a difference.Such a lovely location, gorgeous villa and welcoming family.

Beautiful

From the moment we arrived in Croatia to the moment we left we have had the best holiday. Our host Petra was so lovely, her and her father met us on our arrival and drove us to the villa. I was lost for words. The views are spectacular and when we got through the door everything was perfect. Our hosts had left us a platter of local meats and cheese and that also went in hand with refreshments for our children and ice creams which was a welcome sight in the heat. The villa was like being at home. Clean, fully furnished and everything we needed for our stay. Petra showed us the top places to visit on a map and we took the opportunity to do everything she advised. Petra’s father visited every other day early enough as to not disturb us and cleaned the pool and tended the gardens. He also left presents for the children which was so thoughtful. I cannot thank Petra and her family enough for making our stay a pleasant one. We hope to be back next year. Thank you

Peaceful when it needed to be

Our family of five spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Petra, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Right from the start, Petra and her family were incredibly responsive and accommodating, especially when we had a few special requests. The property itself is exactly as described—if anything, the photos don't quite capture how stunning the location truly is. Upon arrival, the villa was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for a stress-free holiday. We didn’t have to worry about a single detail. The location was ideal—close enough to Dubrovnik for easy day trips, yet nestled in a peaceful spot that allowed us to unwind in the evenings after exploring the bustling old town. The 45-minute drive to and from Dubrovnik takes you through some breathtaking scenery, making the journey itself a pleasure. Beyond Dubrovnik, there was plenty to see in the immediate area. We found some fantastic beaches with the clearest water we've ever swum in, though it's worth noting that if you're after long sandy stretches, this might not be the place for you. However, the beauty of the coastline more than makes up for it. Petra and her family were fantastic hosts. The property was well-maintained throughout our stay, yet we had complete privacy—we never actually saw anyone, but everything was always taken care of. We absolutely loved our time here. Five stars just don't seem enough!

Beautiful villa in a stunning location

We have just come home from a wonderful week at Villa Petra. The villa is really beautiful and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Petra met us on arrival so we could follow her back to the villa, even though it was very late because our flight had been delayed. We were so grateful for the amazing spread of food that Petra had left for us. The best welcome we have had from a host. The swimming pool is perfect and set in beautiful gardens with stunning views. We spent a lot of time enjoying the swimming pool, table tennis, table football and table pool. Brilliant for our teenage son. We were so grateful too to Petra's father who cleaned the pool early every other morning and left us thoughtful gifts of beer, wine, chocolates and croissants. Communication with Petra has been really easy and she was so helpful at providing information on things to see and do. You will need a car as the villa is secluded but that's what makes it so peaceful. It is not far to the supermarkets and we ate in the pretty harbour town of Cavtat most evenings. It is easy to drive to Dubrovnik where we walked the old walls and explored the old town. You can also get the bus or a ferry to Dubrovnik from Cavtat. There are lots of beautiful places to explore along the coast such as Mlini and we really enjoyed visiting the old fort. La villa est très confortable, très bien entretenue, conforme à la description. La piscine est grande et toujours propre. Les hôtes sont particulièrement accueillants et font tout pour rendre le sejour agréable. Je recommande sans hésiter
