VILLA LUZ in the mainly residential pretty village of Addaia on the north coast of Menorca is a spacious south facing colonial style family home. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped to an exceptionally high standard the villa is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean Courtyard Gardens, terraces and spacious inside and outside living areas.

SPECIAL FACILITIES include - heated pool, child proof access to pool, A/C in all the bedrooms and living room, ceiling fans, WiFi - 30mbs. Limited satellite UK TV Channels in 2 bedrooms, Full IPTV in living room and Master En-suite. Wood burner with logs, additional heating too. 2 Bose audio systems, DVD player, electric piano and recorder (with music) and a hairdryer in every bedroom. Loads of family games, books, DVD films and CDs. SOS button to call emergency services.

The Garden Room has 5 sets of bi-fold doors, 2 ceiling fans and a teak dining table and chairs to seat up to 10. Each main door has 'tip and tilt' hinges so no small child can escape to the pool. This spacious area overlooks the pool and gardens. It has a big built in BBQ, servery, and a lovely suite of rattan furniture where you can chill out with a good book or enjoy drinks together before dining in or out as the mood takes you.

The private heated pool with cover (Roman steps) is 9m x 4m with 6 pool loungers and 4 reclining cushioned chairs alongside.

Upstairs there are 3 light and airy bedrooms all with vaulted ceilings. Each room opens onto the large sun terrace with views over the end of the port and the surrounding countryside. This terrace has roll out blinds, 4 cushioned chairs and 2 cushioned sun loungers. Bedroom 4 is downstairs which opens out onto the lovely courtyard gardens.

The Master Bedroom with a super-king sized bed is en suite. It has its own IPTV system and a small dressing area. Bedroom 2 also has a super-king bed and some satellite UK TV channels. Bedroom 3 has twin beds which can be zipped and linked to create another super-king bed and there is room for a cot in this bedroom. These 2 bedrooms share the family bathroom. Bedroom 4 downstairs has twin continental beds which can be zipped and linked to make a further super-king bed. It has some satellite UK TV channels and there is a shower room just across the hallway.

The totally versatile sleeping accommodation is ideal for siblings who may require separate bedrooms, grandparents who like privacy and those who may have limited mobility.

All the beds came from the UK and are extremely comfortable with 2 quality duck down pillows for everyone. Each guest is provided with a bath sheet, large hand towel, and face flannel.

Nothing personal is locked away including the larder, wines, emergency toiletries and cleaning materials.

On arrival you will find a comprehensive Villa Information Pack detailing how everything works, who to contact for help, where to shop, suggested excursions and places to eat together with all emergency numbers. The house alarm system has an SOS button for serious emergencies. There is a medical centre and pharmacy 5 mins away in Arenal.

It is a short stroll to the village where there are 3 bars/restaurants, a mini Spar supermarket and a souvenir/paper shop, and also to the port where there is a bar/restaurant at the water's edge overlooking the boats. Beautiful safe sandy beaches in Arenal and Macaret are 5 mins away by car and there are many other stunning sandy beaches not far away for you to discover. Beach brollies and insulated picnic/drinks hampers are provided.

There is an 18-hole golf course and tennis courts in Son Parc - 10 minutes by car. Sailing and diving schools/hire facilities in Fornells - 15 minutes away. Kayaks, bicycles and boats can be hired from the port from where a really picturesque coastal walk begins. The whole area in and around Addaia provides an ideal base for water sports, walking, bird watching, painting and photography.

A car is essential to really appreciate the beauty this part of Menorca has to offer. There is a limited bus service from the village to several parts of the island including the capital, Mahon. Google www.villacars.es for 15% discount on car hire when you book a stay in my home.

The RENTAL PRICE per week for the villa INCLUDES - WiFi, satellite UK TV channels, IPTV, all taxes, villa preparation for your arrival and cleaning and laundry after you leave. All linens and towels will be changed and a top and tail clean carried out halfway through your stay if this is for more than 11 nights. It is essential to book early for the High Season and Half Term breaks.

EXCLUDED (optional chargeable extras) - pool heating to 28 degrees at £130/€150 a week, pool/beach towels, baby cot/highchair - all can be hired - I can arrange for you and the cost of an additional interim clean/bed linen and towel change if not included for short stays.
