2 BEDROOM CHARACTER COTTAGE WITH OUTSTANDING VIEWS

The cottage is situated on the fringe of the village of hade edge, 3 miles from Holmfirth centre,
so peaceful a fantastic place to unwind with the countryside on your doorstep, the most noise you are likely to encounter are the birds in trees. You really can do as much or as little as you wish, rural location with outstanding views over rolling hills and valleys. Ideal for all outdoor activities ie, walking, cycling, horse riding, also close by is the Pennine trail / Bridle ways / Pennine way / Farm shops /Pubs and restaurants near by .
Manchester / Leeds / Sheffield all within 30 miles.
Taxi service available from the above airports/stations prices available on request.

Law Brook Farm Cottage is part of the family home, it has been renovated to create a relaxing holiday home for a family or friends to share quality time together.
The ground floor of the cottage consists of entrance porch, with bench seat. Open plan living with kitchen, dining. Fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. Dining table seats 4, (childs highchair available )Living area has oak flooring throughout, gas central heating, hard wired smoke alarms, inglenook fireplace with multifluel stove, Comfy Corner sofa/bed (can be used for 2 additional guests), Smart LED TV, Free Wifi connection to internet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, master with king size bed, double wardrobes, Bedside tables, Chair. Bedroom 2 as a king size bed with stylish headboard that converts into twin beds, NOTE: Please ask on booking for set up of twin beds, with wardrobe, bedside tables, both bedrooms with views over open fields. Modern bathroom comprising of WC, basin, bath with shower over, glass shower screen.
To the front of the property there is a driveway with parking for 2 cars, patio area with table and chairs, garden with patio area / table and chairs, bbq available on request.

Strictly No smoking in property, we provide bed linen, ironing facilities and towels, complimentary basket of logs and a welcome tray.

Market town of Holmfirth famous for TV locations, The Picturedrome live music venue, many shops, supermarkets, cafes, bars, restaurants. Also hosted The tour de france 2014, all 3 miles from cottage.

Beautifully presented, modern accommodation with easy access to local walks, shops and amenities.

We had a lovely short stay at this beautifully presented cottage, Paul was very welcoming and provided us with milk, bread and jam and biscuits for the kids! The cottage is ideally located for walks along Kirklees and Pennine Way and local shops and amenities aren't far away. The accommodation was first class with amazing views straight from the breakfast table. Very pleasant stay and would definitely consider coming back.

Comfortable stay, very helpful host

My wife, our toddler and I had a wonderful stay at Lawbrook Farm. Paul was a great, most helpful host who always enjoyed a chat. The house is furnished in order to provide guests with a comfortable stay. The view from the garden on the surrounding area is marvellous (when there is no fog). If we were to visit the area again, we would definitely consider coming back.

Law Brook Farm Cottage

A beautiful cottage in immaculate condition with amazing views. Paul and James could not have been better hosts. So much to see and do and if you like moors and tucked away villages you will not be disappointed. We have no problem recommending and will definitely be returning.

Cosy cottage

We had a lovely time in this exceptionally clean and cosy cottage. The welcome tray was just what we needed after a long drive. The surroundings were breathtaking. Paul was a great host. Law Brook Farm Cottage is a lovely little getaway. It is cosy and compact and clean throughout. It’s inviting and the bed is comfy. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but for a city girl the country is going to be a little different. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat it’s perfect. Paul is friendly and on hand if you need him as he lives next door. So you are not completely on your own in the middle of nowhere. Overall a lovely stay

A Hade Edge Haven

A comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet, well equipped holiday cottage. The views from the dining table are mesmerizing, the cottage is a great place to sit and relax or hike on the numerous trails around. A fabulous farmer's shop closeby together with village pubs serving good food. Paul, the owner, wants you to enjoy your stay in his cottage, he's thought of everything, and we did. He lives next door, he gives you privacy, however, we loved our chats with him. Thank you Paul, you deserve all the accolades.

Lovely, cosy cottage with amazing views

We spent a week at Law Brook Farm Cottage and we had a lovely stay. The views across Yorkshire from the main window are amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. There are many things to do in the area and a lot of the main attractions are within an hour's drive of the property. Paul welcomed us when we arrived and checked in with us before our departure. He was avaiable should we have needed him. The welcome tray was a lovely addition to our stay. We would recommend this cottage if you want to get away from it all and relax.

Perfect getaway in a fantastic location

This was my second stay at Law Brook Farm Cottage and I had just a good a stay as the first. The cottage is in a nice quiet location just outside the small town of Holmfirth with plenty to do in the area and some nice pubs/restaurants only a few minutes away. The property itself is finished to a high quality and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. The beds are very comfortable and give a good night's sleep. The downstairs open plan living/kitchen/dining room is also comfy and at night is cosy. There is central heating plus a wood burner in the fireplace which I didn't need. The outside has parking for two cars and also a couple of places to sit where you can catch the sun and watch the world go by. The host, Paul, is a really nice guy and always stops for a chat to see how your day has been. I'd happily stay at Law Brook Farm Cottage again next time I am visiting the area.

We are the present occupiers of Lawbrook Farm.

(Paul)was born in the holme valley, he's got many great memories of growing up here with all his family. I run my own steel fabrication business since 1999.

(James) was born and grew up in Manchester with his family, moved to Holmfirth 5 years ago. I work as an Electrical Engineer for a leading technology company since 2001.

Great memories of my childhood along with my brothers and sisters when Lawbrook farm was the family home.
