We invite you to stay and enjoy a slice of heaven!
On a clear night the stars are so bright it seems as if you can reach out and touch them.
Our property is not attached to the lake but, at the end of Parks Road there is a turn around where you can park and hike down to the lake or walk down from the cabin. The path is maintained by the Army Core of Engineers & is about 300', the length of a football field. This section of the lake is in a no wake area of Raystown Lake.
Parking on our driveway can hold up to 3-4 vehicles. We ask that vehicles be kept off the yard. A boat parking pad was newly installed for up to a 22' trailer. You can use the turn around at the bottom of Parks Road than drive back up than back the boat into the driveway & onto the boat parking pad. Unhitch your vehicle and go from there.
In late fall and winter, we advise 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicles. The township snow plows are good at spreading salt and plowing Piney Ridge and Parks Road. Depending how deep the snow is, it may take longer than at other times.
Our personal driveway is plowed open by our lawn service. They will be advised of are winter rentals so they can work their way up to our property.
We look forward to having you as our guests!
