Luxury Riverfront Lodge sleeps 25, Pool, Cancel details in property description

*We added an outdoor heated saltwater pool in May 2025 and guests are loving it!

*Most of our bookings are 2-4 generation family gatherings which is what the lodge was designed to host.

*Our cancellation policy is a little different than the limited options offered by VRBO. If you need to cancel & we can rebook your dates, we return 100% of what we are able to recover on your behalf. Your deposit is 100% non-refundable if we are not able to rebook your dates. VRBO's boxes only included strict policy or no-refund and neither describe what we have in our contract. We set this up according to how VRBO instructed us to.

*There are now 3 private bedrooms with doors & sound proofing on the 3rd floor as of 6-2023 instead of a large open loft area.

*Host has 15+ years of managing & maintaining VRBO 5 star rating through 3 different rentals that served 20-25 guests each

*We have 3 night minimum all year except the summer months we prefer 7 night minimum. Contact owner to discuss further as needed.

*6000 square foot lodge sleeps 20-25; 20+ beds

*10 bedrooms with main lodge & luxury tiny house which is ~100 feet from lodge; (small additional fee required if add tiny house); 8 of 10 bedrooms have privacy doors & are not common areas; 8 full bathrooms & 2 are ADA compliant;

*Parking for 20 or more vehicles

*8 miles to Deep Creek Lake area & boat rentals; 10 miles to Wisp Ski Resort

*300+ feet Yough river frontage (WITHOUT neighbors) & access to river trail on state land beside the lodge; Tubing to & from lodge (gear provided);

*Yough River is stocked with trout; Fishing gear isn't provided;

*Great white water rafting options within miles of the lodge

*Fire pit at river bank including wood

*Open air outside pavilion/den with see through wood burning fireplace including wood

*Many indoor & outdoor games on site & large yard

*2 upscale full kitchens & 3 smaller kitchens (6 refrigerators); reverse osmosis water systems for filtered drinking water; 3 outdoor grills; kitchen stocked with cookware and spices; private chef options available locally

*High speed internet; 12 smart TV's;

*Central heating & air including a hard-wired backup generator

*8 person hot tub with fresh water between each rental

*River tubing to lodge from state trail or from lodge to town park or Yough Lake (depending on water levels). Most gear is provided but we recommend bring base layer clothing in case it's needed. Ask owner for more details.

*Whitewater rafting close to lodge through commercial outfitters - all skill levels

*Hiking from lodge in woods on river trail or in town

*Personal concierge to help with pre-planning

*Luxury tiny house is dog friendly and the main lodge is NOT dog friendly. The tiny house is within 100 ft of lodge and is upscale. It has 2 queens, full bathroom w/ 4' shower, & a small kitchen with full size refrigerator. There is an additional flat fee of $500 to add the Luxury Tiny House regardless of the number of nights rented. It isn't included in the pricing noted on VRBO.

*Out of respect for guests with allergies, the main lodge ISN'T pet/dog friendly except the Pavilion Bedroom Suite which has a separate entrance. The entire Tiny House is dog friendly.

*Full disclosure: VRBO's system shows base rates as the price per night at first glance but the base price doesn't reflect the addition of fees so please look deeper for the overall price. For instance, the cleaning cost is $850 (takes 40-50 hours); the laundry fee is $500 (towels & linens for 20+ guests and 20+ beds), taxes which are a pass through to the county & state & VRBO's service fee are not reflected in the base price posted as the daily rate.
