Our experience at Stillwater Haven was incredible. Everything you need is there, just pack some food and clothes and you will feel right at home! There is so much space and the views of the river are fantastic! 10/10 experience and can’t wait to come back again!

Wonderful in every way.The property, the house, the host, the location, the river, the horses, the farm dog, the hot tub, the way everything is provided and every switch and drawer / door is labelled - it's been a fantastic way to spend a few days with a large group of family and friends. The best retreat house ever

Property idea for large groups with many sleeping options. Gathering area and kitchens (2) ,one held 20 easily at the table. Everything uou need as far as games books movies and most importantly outdoor activities. Owner was beyound helpful all neede met, prior and during stay. Recommend Highly

Absolutely an amazing place

We had the most amazing time with a large (20) group of people. The house is so big that no one was at their face. The kids had plenty of space to run around. And the owner is an absolute sweetheart. She was so accommodating and even let the kids pet her houses. The dogs are such a delight too. I will go back there in a heartbeat.

The best family vacation ever!

This property is amazing. It’s not just a house, it’s an experience. It sits as a peaceful country home with plenty of entertainment both inside and out. Ping pong, pool, board games, toys, puzzles, cards for rainy days. Hiking trails, tubing in the Yough River, investigating the creek critters, feeding and brushing the horses, swinging, swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub round out the outdoor activities without ever leaving the property. This was our sixth family trip taken across the US with our kids and grands 25 total, My parents joined this time so ages ranged from 84 - 9 months! We fell in love with the hostess, Lynn, who is filled with the gift of hospitality. This is the first time we’ve considered returning for a second time

First ever family reunion trip

We stayed at Stillwater Haven for our first ever family reunion trip. The house and surrounding property easily accommodated our group of 15 which included 70 year old grandparents to two year old grandchildren and everyone in between. The house was equipped with so many games (inside (ping pong) and outside (croquet, bocci ball, etc.)) that we didn't even need to leave the property to be entertained all day. Lynn was a great host and always just a text away. We made memories at Stillwater Haven that will last our family a lifetime.

Golf Weekend #30 (years)

This was our 30th year of our neighborhood golf trip and the best lodging of all of them. The house was spectacular and had everything we needed. Lynn thought of everything that could be available for our group and we were amazed at the accommodations. We easily slept 19 guys in the many rooms and beds available. Plenty of entertainment options but we chose corn hole, horseshoes and pool. The property is amazing and the river view is also. This is a definite 5 out of 5 star destination

We had the best experience staying at this beautiful home. The home had everything! If we need a lighter, it was in a drawer labeled lighter. If we need a baking dish, it was in a cabinet labeled baking dishes. If we wanted to play cards, board games or other things, this house had all the games. We will come again and stay at this beautiful home again. Love it!!!!!!!!!!

Comfort, fun, the Ultimate stay!

Our wonderful host Lynn has provided EVERYTHING needed for a wonderful family group stay. This is an amazing property for all ages. There is so much to do, in any kind of weather. We had a rainy day and there are so many indoor things to do - a pool table, board games, ping pong, hot tub (outdoors by the pool ).. it goes on and on.. The kitchen is beautifully equipped. The setting by the river is beautiful and peaceful; services are not far away but from the property no other houses are visible. It really is your own private haven.About 30 minutes drive away we enjoyed the mountain town of Ohiopyle where we rented bikes to bike along the river. So beautiful. And right on the property there is a beautiful, level hike along the river. In warm weather Lynn has tubes, etc to use to enjoy the river.We highly recommend this property and the very nice and helpful Lynn.

Terrific Family Getaway

This vacation home was better than any other we've experienced. The great rooms and family rooms were huge, and a lot of the bedrooms were spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 23 with space to spare. The cousins had a great time in the river and in the yard. This host is wonderful, she worked through any little glitches or questions we had, and even handled a major failure with very little inconvenience. She had everything we wanted, and even a couple of things we didn't expect. You should have SIX STARS. We highly recommend Stillwater Haven and hope to return.

Family time was the BEST time!

When Lynn tells you not to overpack, please LISTEN to her. She has everything and then some. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. Finally a rental that can sleep 25 actually has a stocked kitchen to cook for 25. She has more towels in the bathroom than Kohls has on their store shelves. We have found our forever rental that checks off every box for our needs for a four generation family to have a relaxing get away from jobs, stress, and just enjoy peaceful family time making memories that are priceless. Book it, you won't regret it!!

Lovely getaway

Lynn was beyond thoughtful and helpful, and the property was as shown in the pics. Unique setup, beautiful surroundings, lots to do even if it rains (indoor and outdoor games, fireplaces, cooking appliances, printing/office space). Don't need to bring anything (there are plentiful plush towels, extra pillows and blankets, paper products, soaps, fully stocked kitchens with everything from appliances and serving ware/utensils to oil and spices, multiple refrigerators, filtered water, so many games and activities, kids' toys, water tubes/accessories). Lynn even makes sure to have you covered for minor emergencies like needing batteries for a toy or something from the medicine cabinet for a scrape or sunburn. Everything is clean and well maintained. Nice views from wraparound deck with comfortable seating and umbrellas for table cover when needed, and covered patio at ground level faces the river as well. Many of the sleeping spaces are in the open living spaces, but that's evident in the photos and was fine by us as we were just there for a small family getaway. Fun trip, and we will come back!

Perfect house for a perfect weekend retreat - we all loved it!

We had a ladies retreat at Stillwater Haven this past weekend that was amazing. The house was such an ideal place to cook together, hang out, have group discussions, relax, and feel like we were in our own homes. Lynn is a wonderful hostess who really goes out of her way to help in any way possible (like driving to town to get a mechanic to come help a friend who locked her keys in her car!). The weather was perfect for us so we very much enjoyed hanging out by the river, walking the nearby trails, spending time in the hot tub, and having a fire and s'mores in the pavilion fireplace. The beds were SOOOO comfortable. There were many blankets nearby to get cozy on the couch or in the gliders. The open kitchen was so great for cooking large meals and since that's where most people gather - it never felt crowded like in a lot of kitchens. And everything is labeled so you aren't searching for very long to find what utensil you need. There were several spots inside and out that lended themselves to chatting in smaller groups. We just loved being there and I hope we will be able to come back again! Thank you, Lynn for being willing to follow the vision the Lord gave you to build such a home as Stillwater Haven.

Heaven On The River

Stillwater Haven is really Heaven on a river. This Home is Stunning and Lynn and Michaela are Angels. Lynn and Michaela are my family now, I had an amazing stay. I have a organization and I conducted a women's retreat for a fundraiser to help fatherless children. Naturally a lot of family supported me with this. As I struggled with a place to rent, I do believe God sent me Lynn and Michaela at Stillwater Haven. My whole group of women loved them along with the house. The house decor makes you really feel at home and comfy. There is so much to do in the house and in the small town. The people in the town was so nice and welcoming as they helped our group conquer our fear of rafting. They cheered us on just like family would. If I could have left my cousin Karon (the teacher) I think they would have been happy. This made me really emotional that God placed me and my group in the correct hands. I received so many phone calls this week anticipating next years retreat. Everyone is missing Lynn and the two black labs. There was so much room for everyone and that's what mad it even better. The hot tub is soothing and the trails are challenging but yet amazing. Lynn we can't wait to come back and see you guys. Thanks for all your love and great hospitality. See you next year!!!! Awesome place!

This was the most well-appointed vacation house we could have imagined. The kitchen had everything. It was easy to make dinners for a big group, especially with the double grills outside the kitchen and the buffet table for serving. There were so many games for families to play, including tetherball and there were even bins of legos! We really just needed to bring food and clothes. There isn't room here to list everything we liked. Tubing from the backyard was as convenient as it gets. There were tables and gathering areas all over the property. It felt like a private resort. Our large group can't wait to go back.

Outstanding & Relaxing Retreat!

WOW! What an amazing experience and venue to host our end of quarter corporate retreat! Lynn was a fantastic host and provided everything and more needed to have a relaxing weekend. The riverside location and property is absolutely breathtaking and the amenities and property itself was extremely well thought out and designed for families in mind.
