I'll start with location, location, location: 12 blocks and 1 turn to major freeway access going in any direction in the city; 5 minutes to LP Field, Ascend Amphitheater, and downtown by car; less than 10 minutes to Music City Center; walking distance to much that makes East Nashville such a great place to live and 2 - 5 minutes by car to all the rest of the great eats and shopping of East Nashville; 10 - 15 minutes to almost everything else including the airport, 12th South District, Vanderbilt area, The Gulch, Opryland and much more.

This cozy and comfortable 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment has everything you need whether traveling for business, pleasure, or checking out the area for a potential move here. Great for someone traveling alone, a couple, a family, or a small group of friends. This apartment is a duplex and there is a 1 bed 1 bath apartment on the other side that can be rented separately. Just ask me about renting both for groups up to 8 people.

There are hardwood floors throughout, central heat and air, and fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials including a dishwasher.

It sleeps 2 - 4 (or up to 8 if renting both sides) comfortably with a queen sized bed with memory foam topper in the bedroom, with plenty of storage, and a full sized futon couch, with memory foam topper, in the living room. The bedroom has cordless cellular shades to allow lots of light yet maintain privacy and also has black out curtains in case you want to sleep in. There is also a washer and dryer in the kitchen so it is great for longer stays.

As your home away from home the apartment is furnished with a 37" flat screen tv with basic cable, free wifi, and plenty of books and games for adults and children. There is plenty of parking on the street in front of the apartment and no permit is required.

If you are looking for a luxury apartment downtown, this is not it. If you are looking for a very comfortable, very clean, and well appointed apartment with free wifi in the fabulous East Nashville neighborhood, you found it! The apt is 2 miles to downtown, 1 mile to 5 Points and all its wonderful shops and restaurants, and 3 blocks to wonderful Shelby Park and less than a mile to Shelby Bottoms 960 acre Nature Preserve. What a Blessing!

This was the perfect place for us, being close to downtown but also within minutes of great little eating places. It was very clean and comfortable at a very affordable price. The host was very easy to access as was the home. It was very well stocked. There is also off street parking in the back which was handy. ❤️❤️❤️

What a great appartment!

I really enjoyed my longterm stay at this wonderful appartment! Everything was tidy, comfortable and useful. I loved the living room with the cosy couch and also the comfortable bed. The location is quiet, but not too far from East Nashville center or downtown. There's even a bus around the corner and Shelby Parks / Bottoms very near, too. I would come back!

The property is fine for a shorter stay [i.e. 2-3 days]. After that its small bathroom, lack of comfortable chairs, small table and soft bed become tiresome. It is in a nice neighborhood, but very hilly. Anyone with limited mobility will need to get into the car to go anywhere. The property is clean and was quiet for us, but it is a duplex and the other unit seemed empty while we were there. Might be noisy if that were occupied. Christy was very nice, no complaints there

Great spot for small groups

Excellent, clean property located close enough to all the major spots you'd want to visit, but far enough away that parking isn't an issue. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors gave friendly greetings. Anything you'd need for the kitchen is there. Coffee was provided, which was great. If you want cream or sugar and forgot there's a gas station up the street. The owner was great with communication and very easy to deal with throughout the whole process. I'd highly recommend this place. I chose to stay parked at the house and use a car service to get to my event to avoid having to find parking. The ride was cheap and convenient. One bedroom, one futon, so if you have 4 or less, this is your spot!

Great place to start 2022!

The duplex was a quaint, but plenty spacious stay for my boyfriend and I. We came for NYE and my birthday and it was in the best location imaginable — right outside downtown (a quick 5-min Uber ride) away from the chaos. Neighborhood is extremely walkable and safe. Christy had exceptional communication and ensured we had everything we needed. The bed is insanely comfortable and it made it hard to wake up in the morning, but other than that, zero complaints over here! ;)

mother/daughter senior spring break trip

Christy was great to work with. just 5 days before we were scheduled to arrive, Nashville was hit by tornadoes. she kept us informed on the status of her property (not hit, thank goodness), but the neighborhood just a few blocks away was... that did impact our plans to hang out at the "not on lower broadway" hang outs. We used Uber/Lyft many times. 10dollars during off peak/ 20+ on Saturday night coming back from lower broadway. we did walk to downtown two mornings.. definitely doable, about 2.2 miles.. i would not walk back at night, as some are busy roads, not the well lit. Airport about 22 dollars. drivers all excellent. Concert at Bridgestone arena and Opry were highlights. also highly recommend the "hop on and off" trolley. good way to see Nashville/ Vanderbilt/Gulch areas. Chuy's mexican restaurant near Vanderbilt a must! would go back to Nashville in a heartbeat. I would, tho, stay closer to downtown, i like to just walk to neighborhood bars/ restaurants; have a break late afternoon and go back out again..

A convenient and cute property near five points area

Property is just as described, and was neat and clean when we arrived. We got the code for the door with no problem. There is a thorough guide to the property and fixtures sitting on the coffee table, along with some handy info about the local area. We walked down to the five points area the first night, and had an excellent dinner. In the morning we walked up to the local coffee shop. Also good. We got around town via Lyft - about $10 into the downtown area. I noticed that google maps tried to direct several of our Lyft drivers to the back of the house, rather than right in front, but that was no big deal. The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. What more do you need? Would rent again.

Southern Charmer

This sweet little home is exactly as pictured, and was perfect for me and my husband's first trip to Nashville. Close to downtown, but in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy street parking (when we wanted to go downtown, we just drove and parked all day for free near the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge). Christy made us feel very welcome, and check-in/out was a breeze due to her frequent communication with me throughout our trip. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back through Nashville. We have to give a shout-out to a great little breakfast place that was on Christy's recommendation list--Sweet 16th Bakery. Delicious breakfast sandwiches/baked goods and friendly owners--don't miss it!

Found this home after my original AIRBNB was cancelled downtown. We loved this little place, it wa a great location close to 5 points (AWESOME PART OF TOWN). Some of the small issues experienced were addressed by the owner; she was very responsive and attentive. I hope that the owner can invest in some scooters or mopeds that she could offer as an upcharge for use. Because Uber’s can get expensive pretty fast; but when we took the LIME scooter from downtown back to the cottage it wasn’t bad at all! Only $5 ride and enjoyed it! Bed was comfy; shower needs to drain a little better, and wish it has central AC. Those are the important things; but Christy has so much experience doing this that she has so many small things in the house that make the experience awesome. Such as: 1. Local coffee from BONGO; DELICIOUS 2. Snacks in the house (popcorn, granola bar, crackers) 3. Water filter in the fridge 4. Book of Nashville awesomeness; her way of telling you what to do in town 5. Blow dryer and random bathroom appliances you could need 6. Washer detergent to allow you to do a load of clothes Just to name a few. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Christy has an entire binder with a ton of information that is so helpful, especially if you’ve never been to Nashville before. The location is super close to downtown though I would not actually walk there as the area closer to the downtown area is not the best area. Being in east Nashville make sure to check out the area and the 5 points area as well. Just a short walk (1 mile) to there but would Uber back to the air bnb at night. Uber’s are available st all hours which was great. Christy would always check in on you to make sure everything was great and your stay is going well. She also includes a list of what to do for check out which is GREAT. especially after previous experiences with air bnbs where the owner doesn’t answer and you never know what to do with the trash. THIS WAS NOT TJE CASE AND I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT!! Would definitely recommend friends and family about staying here.

It was a nice weekend get away. We really enjoyed our stay in East Nashville. The apartment was well stocked, very clean and cozy. We were unable to use the sling tv. It was unavailable and Christy tried to offer to talk us through resetting it. We decided not to bother. The bed was comfortable and had soft sheets. It was really nice to sleep in. The blackout curtains were much appreciated. Also the coffee was good and snacks were a nice touch.

My husband and I stayed at this adorable apartment for four nights. It was like being home. Comfort and convenience is what we had. We were 5-10 minutes from town. We drove down to Cumberland park area and parked for free on the street. We headed over the Cumberland bridge to downtown Nashville (broadway) every night we were there. I was told at booking it was a short ride and uber was available, however we had our own vehicle so cannot share our uber experience. The owner had our place prepared and even had some snacks waiting on our arrival. There was coffee available. It was a nice touch. A very clean and neat apartment and spacious. When we return to Nashville we will definitely book this great apartment . Also, there is plenty of street parking outside the apartment.

Christy really knows what she is doing. Her home is very accommodating for the person/people that will be out a lot or staying in a lot. She supplies simple instructions and helpful suggestions. Also she is very responsive to questions. The WIFI went out temporarily, I let her know through text and she was quick to deal with Comcast to fix the issue. The house is very cozy with all necessary accommodations and much more beyond necessary. Location of the house is wonderful for getting around in any direction. Shelby Ave. Is a busy road but at the same time the neighborhood is pleasantly quiet. There are plenty of nearby stores for necessities and lots of choices for bars, music, restaurants, etc. And even a nice park nearby by the river. A Lyft ride most anywhere we went cost $7-$9. The bed is comfortable and the mattress on the futon is very comfy too. The house was very clean, Christy takes a lot of care into hosting her guests.

Our teenage son, Zachary, is a native Nashvillian :-) We love sharing our space in our beloved East Nashville neighborhood. We think it is the ideal location for exploring the city. We love to travel and live like locals when we do. We hope you enjoy the opportunity to live like a local in Nashville as well :-)

Why they chose this property

We love Nashville and think East Nashville is the best neighborhood (we are biased of course having chose to live here ourselves :-) In addition to being 12 blocks and 1 turn to easy freeway access to all of Nashville and less than 10 mins and less than $10 Uber ride to downtown, East Nashville has so many fabulous restaurants, bars, and shops in walking distance to the apartment. There is also the wonderful Shelby Park 3 blocks up the street. A 15 minute walk through the park takes you to Shelby Bottoms, a 960 acre nature preserve that runs along the Cumberland River. You are so close to all that downtown has to offer but you get to come "home" to a quiet neighborhood. At Shelby Bottoms you can feel like you are in the middle of the wilderness and still only be minutes from the neighborhood!

What makes this property unique

Feel what it is like to live like a local rather than a tourist! So much more comfortable than a hotel room with living room and bedroom with hardwood floors and plenty of storage space, full kitchen including everything you need to cook, washer and dryer, and lots of little extras. The apartment is in a great walkable neighborhood with many wonderful independent restaurants, shops, and bars in walking distance yet 5 minutes to downtown and all that downtown has to offer. It is also 3 blocks to fabulous Shelby Park which previous guests have described as a "runner's delight". On the other side of the park is the 960 acre Shelby Bottoms Nature Preserve where you can roller blade or bicycle on the paved paths or walk on the many side wood-chip paths and see deer, birds, and tons of other wildlife. 5 minutes one direction, you are in the middle of the woods and 5 minutes the other direction, you are in the heart of downtown Nashville! Come see what we love about living in East Nashville.
