Lovely house in a unique location

We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was beautifully clean throughout, very comfortable, spacious, modern, warm. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The house is surrounded by natural woodland rather than a formal garden. It has a large area of decking facing south. It is 10km from the Dune de Pilat and the coast. The area has many cycle paths and excellent shopping facilities. We would definitely stay again.

Stunning property in idyllic setting

This was our second visit to the area so we were happy to stay in a slightly more remote location as it’s easy to get around with free parking in the local towns and villages. Having viewed the listing and read the reviews we were more than happy this property offered the accommodation we were looking for. We were not disappointed. The house is lovely and spacious with everything you need. Clean linen was supplied and the property well presented on arrival. We spent most of our evenings enjoying the view, cooking in the well equipped kitchen or on the BBQ. Patrick was the perfect host, available to answer any queries and offer advice, even the slight language barrier didn’t really cause that much of an issue. We stayed for 5 weeks and absolutely loved the wildlife wondering through the grounds. The birds were also beautiful with species we’ve not seen in our garden in the UK. The property is close to the cycle Path with easy access to Cazaux, La Teste De Buch, Petite Nice and Dune du Pilat as well as slightly longer routes to Biscarosse Plague and Arcachon. We would highly recommend this property and it’s host. Thank you Patrick for a fabulous stay and sharing in your wonderful home.

Ein sehr schönes, helles und komfortables Haus in einer außergewöhnlichen Lage (Wald). Das Wetter war leider teilweise regnerisch, aber man konnte sich in dem Haus gut aufhalten. Den kleinen Pool konnten wir aufgrund des Wetters leider nicht nutzen. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig.

Très agréable maison nichée au coeur d'un domaine paisible, bien équipée, très lumineuse. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment dans cette maison. La présence de la base aérienne à proximité est certes pourvoyeuse de quelques nuisances sonores, qui ne gâchent en rien les qualités de la maison.

Platz ohne Ende zum Wohlfühlen

Wir waren 2 Wochen im Haus von unserem Gastgeber Patrick und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war sehr gut und verlässlich. Es gibt wirklich viel Platz ums Haus und von den anderen Häusern auf dem riesigen Areal haben wir nichts mitbekommen. Zu den Stränden am Atlantik (z.B. Plage du Petite Nice) sind es mit dem Auto ca. 25 Minuten. Da das Abschnittsweise der selbe Weg wie zur Dune du Pilat ist, hatten wir im August um die Mittagszeit auch öfter Stau mit 50 Minuten und länger. Zum Plage de Casaux-Lac (Binnensee) hingegen ist es mit 15 Minuten deutlich kürzer.

Superbe séjour

Emplacement idéal entre Dune du Pilat et bassin d'Arcachon. La maison est au coeur de la forêt dans un environnement verdoyant. Proche de l'aérodrome, on peut voir l'envol des planeurs dans le ciel. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, dans cette maison très propre et lumineuse.

Schönes, neues Haus mitten im Pinienwald

Idyllische Lage, ruhig (bis auf die Flugzeuge, die mich persönlich nicht gestört haben), Strände relativ schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar, wobei in Abhängigkeit von der Tageszeit Staus auftreten. Der Vermieter ist sehr sympathisch.

Casa tranquila y luminosa en el bosque

Estamos muy contentos de nuestras vacaciones, la casa es espaciosa y con mucha luz aun estando rodeada de arboles. Todo esta muy tranquilo alrededor y hemos podido disfrutar de la naturaleza. Tambien hemos agradecido la cercania de la playa y del centro comercial, aunque hemos tenido que ir en coche a todos los sitios.

Dépaysement et repos assuré

Au milieu d'une pinède cette location est idéal pour se ressourcer. Avec nos deux petites filles de 4 et 2 ans que du bonheur et de l'espace . Maison magnifique et très bien aménagé .
