Billericay High Street is only 10 minutes away by car, offering many resturants and shops.There is a bus stop 3 minutes away from the house that takes you straight to Billericay High Street and Billericay Station (leads you straight to London from Billericay Station).

Lovely place to stay

Nigrita and Darius were perfect hosts for our extended stay. The accommodation is clean and modern with all the essentials, plus the sauna. The garden is huge, and if you have a dog it's just perfect for them to run around and stretch their legs. Ideal for a couple or a family with a pet (that's us too).

Amazing Amenities!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house is beautifully maintained, and we felt comfortable and at ease throughout our visit. The private swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were fantastic additions that made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. These amenities truly made the experience feel like a luxury retreat. The location was perfect, and the peaceful surroundings added to the overall serenity of our getaway. The host was incredibly responsive and communicative, ensuring that everything went smoothly from start to finish. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches in the house. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy and welcoming home away from home with great amenities. We hope to return in the future!

Very disappointing and disgusting, we didn't last 24h

Very dirty, very stained mattresses and rubish left behind (pictures available upon request) No Covid measures taken. The features like barbaque and garden had to be shared with the people staying in the main house as this is a pool house without any measure in place covid-19 related. They allowed us to use their washing machine if we had needed it. The owner told us it was a 50m2 property but it has much less than that. Closest shop at 40 minutes walk when she told us it was at 10 minutes walk.. Fully dependant on the main house for 3rd parties entrance (ie. deliveries or take away). There was no privacy at all as you could see through the curtains and at night we had to change with the lights off and store our clothes in the sauna as there was no wardrobe available. As the property to rent was not cleaned (as acknowledged by the owner) and we had to share all the features (what was not properly explained in the advertisement) we felt unsafe, without privacy and defrauded and left the following day.

Ideal family holiday rental

From the moment we arrived at the front gates we were smiling. The setting of the accommodation is beautiful.

Relaxing and enjoyable week away

A lovely property with fantastic features. The lady who welcomed us and took care of the main house was helpful and kind and the gentlemen who came to maintain the pool was very friendly. The property was clean, functional and comfortable. The garden, pool, decked area, wood fired sauna etc were brilliant for our family. The children really enjoyed sleeping on the sofa bed on the mezzanine floor but there was also a sofa bed in the living are on the ground floor if you have smaller children with you. The bed in the double room was comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much everything you could need. We used the wood fired barbecue most nights and enjoyed use of the massive garden with tree swing and walks through the open fields behind the property. The location is excellent. Many things to do within the local area and not far from the sea and the City of London. Our boys had a lesson on the dry ski slope a few miles away and there is also a nearby cinema, bowling complex and swimming pool. There are plenty of retail parks, shops and eateries around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. It is by no means a criticism but just a suggestion - the property could probably do with a microwave oven for those evenings when weather would prevent use of the barbecue, as a hob would not always be enough to cook a full meal.

magical holiday

We received a kind and very warm welcome. Nigrita's daughter Ema was very attentive to all our needs and we enjoyed the family atmosphere with the beautiful garden surrounding us and the family dog who played with our five year old child. The views from the house with the changing light and the movement of the water in the pool were quite magical. The house and the pool were both in excellent condition and everything was kept beautifully clean. The countryside around is partucularly attractive and there are many walks. It is also near the centre of Billericay and the station. In our opinion this is quite an unusual residence and we very much enjoyed our stay.

A Peaceful Midsummer Week Break

It was wonderful, relaxing and really worthy. Nigrita and her husband were really friendly, welcome us and my little dog, gave us nice tips/directions to enjoy our break (i.e. walk paths, towns, golf club nearby, etc)and answered our texts right after sent them (i.e. at our arrival, departure, etc). The house is gourgeous, brand new, comfy and perfect for a couple and a pet -:) Everything was clean, tidy and functional. The highlights were the sauna - having lived in Finland, I can rate it as 4 1/2 out of 5 stars - and the pool...I wish the weather would have been nicer so I could have swim in every day. The park - with badminton court and hammock included- were fantastic. Lastly, the commuting is very easy, 5-10 min to Billericay train station , in fact car is recommended but not essential! (i.e. we used bus). Overall, we highly recommend this property - a perfect week break away from the city -:) Gabriela, Francis and Shakespeare (August 2017)
