The villa has independent heating, and during the winter, you can also stay warm by the cosy glow of the two fireplaces, using firewood provided by the owner. It is a wing of the adjacent Palazzo Leone. <br><br>The villa is completely independent, with no issues related to a homeowners’ association, surrounded by 1,500 square metres of gardens featuring a lawn, centuries-old trees, fruit trees, and antique fountains, as well as a private, fenced-in parking area for multiple cars. <br>An oasis of peace, in the centre of the village of Calvanico, within the Monti Picentini Park, just a few kilometres from the city of Salerno. <br><br>Villa Mimosa is the ideal and strategic base for exploring all the picturesque villages of the Amalfi Coast (about 17 km away): Vietri sul Mare (known for its ceramics), Cetara, Maiori, Minori, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello (with its concerts), the Sorrento Coast (50 km away), the Cilento Coast (45 km away), Naples with its spectacular volcano “Vesuvius” (55 km away), the famous historical and archaeological sites of Pompeii (30 km away), Herculaneum (40 km away), Paestum (45 km away), and Salerno (15 km away); from its port, you can reach, by sea, the islands of Capri and Ischia, as well as all the towns along the Amalfi Coast.<br><br>A place away from the chaos and hectic pace of city life, where, upon returning from excursions, you can relax in the spacious, comfortable, and charming flower-filled garden—complete with all amenities—in the shade of the three centuries-old trees: “Tasso,” “Leccio,” and “Abetone,” which, when illuminated in the evening, create a romantic and evocative atmosphere; or in the shade of the cherry or walnut trees, located in the upper garden, from which—during the fruiting season—the Villa’s guests can pick and enjoy the fruit, as well as from all the other fruit trees in the garden (hazelnuts, figs, pomegranate, apple, pear, plum, apricot, serviceberry, jujube, blueberry….)—all organically grown without any chemicals, making them ideal for children. <br><br>Using the Villa’s historic wood-fired oven, you can make and enjoy excellent pizzas with the help of a professional local pizza chef.
