Situada en una urbanización cerrada con encanto, esta encantadora villa está construida en estilo tradicional provenzal, no se pasa por alto con su propia piscina privada y se encuentra en una tranquila zona residencial de St-Remy-de-Provence. A poca distancia del centro histórico, donde encontrará numerosos restaurantes, pintorescos cafés, bares de moda, galerías y elegantes boutiques. La villa está decorada con buen gusto y es una fusión de alojamiento moderno y tradicional, que ofrece un ambiente tranquilo y relajante. Ubicado en la planta baja se encuentra el amplio y luminoso salón y comedor, cocina bien equipada, dormitorio principal con baño con ducha, WC separado. Dos dormitorios dobles adicionales se encuentran en el primer piso con baño y WC separados. Con magníficas vistas sobre el campo, las terrazas exteriores ofrecen áreas soleadas y sombreadas para disfrutar de comidas al aire libre y el lugar perfecto para relajarse después de un ajetreado día de turismo. El jardín está plantado de lavandas provenzales, olivos y muchos arbustos locales, creando un entorno tranquilo y natural mientras se relaja en la hermosa piscina transparente. Todas las habitaciones disponen de aire acondicionado en todo. Esta es una villa para no fumadores y no es adecuada para niños menores de 6 años.

Beautiful property!

We had such a lovely week in this Villa - the property was beautiful, the pool was fab and it’s just a short walk from the town centre. Communication with Mary and the checkin/ checkout process was also very smooth. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay

We spent a great week in this house in St Rémy de Provence. The communication with Mary, the owner, was always prompt and helpful. The house itself is beautiful, well equipped and spotless. The location of the house is perfect to explore many of the close by sights and vineyards.

Provence idyll

This is the perfect house in St Remy. Everything works. It’s wonderfully peaceful and yet ten minutes after you’ve left the swimming pool, you can have walked into St Remy centre and be enjoying café life. We had a lovely sunny week and look forward to returning.

Exceeded expectations!

Very impressed with the location and standard of the facilities. The pool and air on were really welcome as the weather was very hot. The villa was to a high standard and the owner ensured there were supplies of basic household consumables which just enhanced our experience.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful home!

The home is lovely. We used the pool on warm afternoons after returning from cycling adventures. (Rented excellent road bikes, Specialized Aethos, at Cycles of Life in St. Remy.) Its a 15-minute walk into town or a very short drive. We enjoyed the walk along the canal. The owner gave us some recommendations for local restaurants and all were great including Chez Paulette in nearby Eygalieres. Thsnk you for sharing your lovely home, Mary!

Lovely property

The property was lovely and perfect size. It was nicely located to walk into the centre of St Remy plus great links to other places. Is very well equipped with everything you need and more such as books and adapter plugs. The place was nice and clean, my husband was most fascinated my the pool cleaning robot! My one tip would be take insect repellent for the mosquitoes (Avon Skin so soft spray is supposed to be brill for this) this is more the location than the property itself. I love this area of France and will definitely return.

Wonderful home in magnificent setting

We spent 2 exceptional weeks at Mary’s home. The home is located in a beautiful gated community, with beautiful flora, fauna and trees and the home is surrounded by wonderful gardens and is very private. It is a 20 minute walk into Saint Remy, which also has an easy accessible free parking lot if you drive. The house is as the pictures show, the linens, towels, pool chaises are all high quality. The pool is lovely and perfectly maintained. Angelique, the house manager is very attentive and helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this home.

Fabulous stay in Provence!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Saint-Remy-de-Provence! It is even more beautiful in-person than in the pictures shown on the website. We all loved the pool. All of the bedrooms have beautiful light, and the neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved lounging in the living room in late evenings and mornings. It's just a gorgeous house. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy, and on the couple of occasions we had questions about the house, we received prompt and friendly replies from the owner/manager. The town itself is also magical. We loved the big market day and the evening festivities for the summer solstice. We really hope to return to this property someday!

An exceptional house

A beautiful house, full of Provencal charm and elegance, with a rich garden landscape surrounding the house and pool and opening onto a superb view of the St Remy landscape. The house is both open and secluded and provides every amenity and comfort for a holiday in the beautiful town of St Remy. In summary, this is an exceptional house. We have visited St Remy on many occasions and rented other houses in the area. While our other holiday rentals were very good none matched this superb property. The local property manager Angeline looked after us very well and the weekly clean with changes of bed linen and towels was of the highest standard. A final word for the owner Mary who kept in touch with us both prior to and during our visit to ensure that all was good and that we were enjoying our stay. We will be back!

An absolute gem

Number 38 of les Bastides des Oliviers is an absolute gem. The house is delightful, reflecting true Provencal charm, elegance and privacy. It sits in a discreet and quiet development about 10 minutes from the town and to its rear a small canal where otters are often to be seen playing. The house itself is beautiful and most tastefully decorated. Outside, there is a charming garden with beautiful bouganvilla, agapanthus, lovely shrubs, and a delightful pool area where it is irresistible not to spend hours reading, swimming or just taking in the beauty of Provence. The local town is very special with a weekly market on a Wednesday which brings delights from all over Provence as well as a fantastic buzz. The local village of Les Baux de Provence is an absolute treat for a visit. St Remy is filled with wonderful shops….patisseries, craft shops, excellent restaurants and artisan providers. It is a must visit for the discerning traveller. The care and attention from the support agency is unparalleled and Angeline is an agent who goes beyond what may be expected, and caters to every need. You will love it.

God’s backyard

The photos on VRBO listing set a high bar for expectations. We spent 10 days at Mary’s property at the end of May. The property exceeds expectations. The house has everything. Period. The views off the deck are lovely. The neighborhood is secure and quiet. It’s a 15 min walk (along the canal gravel path) into the center of St Remy. We had petit dejuener in the town center at Le Beau Bar, Honoré, or on the house deck. Frequented the charcuteries, fromage and wine shops and boulangeries around the city. Dined at brasseries or ate in. St Remy is a never-ending feast for the eyes, the stomach and the soul. Must sees: the Roman settlement ruins at Glanum; the hike up the Van Gogh Trail to Glanum; a drive/bike ride through the Alpilles; visit to mountaintop village Les Baux (and *** L’Oisteau de Baumaniere restaurant…); Calanques National Park east of Marseilles (1.5hr drive); the Roman ruins in and around Arles and Avignon; the market towns like Eygalieres (Fri mkt), a smaller town in the foothills of the Alpilles. If you like biking - the “cycling” style or just riding a bike - St Remy is Heaven. Many one-lane farm roads with minimal auto traffic winding through vineyards and olive trees. Decent but assailable climbs in the Alpilles. Towns are about 10-15km apart, making for lovely rides in the Provincial sunshine. Huge market in St Remy on Wednesdays - meats, produce, clothing, truffles, everything. With St Remy as hub, Provence is a day trip.

Super Haus

Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet inkl Seife, Spültücher, Toilettenpapier, etc. Wirklich super. Betten sehr bequem. Kontakt zur Vermieterin und Übergabe war einwandfrei. Einzig der Pool war trotz 35 grad Außentemperatur ziemlich frisch und das Grundstück ist kleiner als es auf den Bildern aussieht. Von uns 9,5 von 10 Sternen.

Beautiful villa, a great location to explore provence

Beautiful and well maintained property with fantastic pool and air conditioning - perfect for a relaxing summer holiday. We loved St Remy - great selection of restaurants in walking distance and well stocked supermarket. Easy to drive to lots of other fabulous towns and villages - we particularly liked Arles and Baux de provence. Communication from both owner and local agent excellent - very quick and friendly response. Had a small issue with property (totally unforeseeable) and within an hour had the agent and people to fix it round- all very friendly and unobtrusive. Could not recommend this property more - wish we’d had a longer stay.

Parenthèse apaisante au coeur de la Provence...

Second séjour confirmant notre choix de l'année précédente. Maison propre, fonctionnelle et sécurisée dans un cadre calme et reposant. La piscine est au soleil toute la journée et sans vis à vis, entourée d'un jardin très agréable où vous pourrez vous reposer au son des cigales. La maison est bien équipée avec une bonne literie et un BBQ au top ! Nous tenons à remercier Mary pour sa disponibilité et gentillesse ainsi qu'Angeline. Séjour à renouveller ....

bel emplacement au sein d'une résidence privée. Au calme, belle piscine sans aucun vis à vis , pour se reposer avec la possibilité de se rendre à St Remy de Provence en quelques minutes. Idéal si l'on souhaite ne pas être isolé et au calme.

Excellent séjour !

Maison située dans un domaine privé et sécurisé un peu à l‘Écart du centre de St Rémy, très calme, proche du centre. Mas très fonctionnel, bien décoré, bien équipé et très agréable à vivre. Piscine agréable également, tout est présent pour passer un excellent séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

What a wonderful villa!

My three girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. The space was much larger than it seems in the photos, with plenty of outdoor space and lovely views. We were met at check in and given all the instructions necessary to enjoy our time there. We spent most of our time outside and there are multiple places to eat, drink and relax. The kitchen was well equipped and had many miscellaneous items included (spices, plastic wrap, etc.) The beds were comfortable with enough storage as were the bathrooms. The location was very close to St. Remy (about 15 minute walk) and easy driving distance from many sites worth visiting. I highly recommend staying here and would do so again myself if the situation ever arose.
