Renovated to the highest standard in 2010/2011 this property is only on the market for a few weeks each year. Located in Les Contamines, a beautiful traditional alpine resort which still retains its village atmosphere, it is just a short drive from the sparking lights of Megeve or the action of Chamonix. Les Contamines is part of the Evasion Ski area - a huge area of approx 445km of pistes. The chalet is a 10 minute walk into the centre of the village and there is a regular free shuttle bus during the winter which stops less than a minutes walk away. The main ski lift is less than a 100meters walk from the front door and it is possible to ski right into the back door of the chalet (off piste route). The chalet has lots of storage for skis and ski equipment and the wood burning stove is perfect to warm hands after a long day on the snow.

Family Friendly Chalet: Chalet Le Bambi is perfect for a family winter ski holiday or a summer time mountain escape. Les Contamines is know as a family friendly resort and caters perfectly for little people in the winter and the summer. The creche is only a 10 minute walk from the chalet and will take children on a weekly basic, half days or full days. The village is perfect for children in the summer with a fantastic park which includes a swimming lake with beach, a natural lake with pedal boats and fishing, tennis courts, crazy golf, trampolines, playground and a great high wire course. There is rock climbing close by, horse riding and biking and the village organises daily activities for children to take part in. The park is only a 15 minute walk from the chalet making it a perfect base.
