Located in the countryside in the rural outskirts of the village of Great Totham, our barn offers the perfect place for a family holiday, romantic break, Hen party, rural retreat and outdoor activities.

One of four barns, collectively known as Jepcrack's Barn Self Catering. We have a one bedroom barn, two three bedroom barns and a four bedroom barn, all with en-suite or separate bathrooms.

They be rented separately or collectively for up to 31 guests.

HEN PARTY
We can help to plan your Hen party! From a quiet relaxing break or a mixture of quiet times and fun activities, we have a plan to suit you! Average cost £150 per person for a long weekend or 3 night stay (plus VRBO booking fees).

We can arrange fun activities such as afternoon tea with Prosecco, dancing lessons, wine tasting and italian meal and a range of beauty treatments from professional therapists. For those seeking nightlife, why not hire a limo or taxi to a club in nearby Chelmsford or Brentwood.

WEDDINGS
We are conveniently situated near a number of wedding venues including Captains Wood Barns, Forrester Park, Braxted Park, Vaulty Manor, Prested Hall and Houchins, Layer Marney and Five Lakes. Why not stay before or after the event so you can enjoy a relaxing break and make the most of your time together.

THE BARLEY BARN:
The Barley Barn is full of character, with a wealth of beams and exposed brickwork. It is completely self contained and comprises of an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite.

The lounge has a huge brick fireplace and wood burning stove for romantic winter escapes or to take the chill of a summer evening. There are comfortable leather sofas and a large TV with DVD player.

The dining area has a table and seating for 8 people with a high chair available, if needed. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave.
BEDROOMS
The master bedroom downstairs has a superking size French antique bed and spacious en-suite with jacuzzi bath and shower above. This bedroom is ideal as a family room as it has a sofa bed that converts into a small double.
Upstairs is a bedroom with king size bed and en-suite with bath and shower above.
A third small bedroom downstairs can be set up as a superking, twin or single. There is a bathroom opposite with jacuzzi bath and shower above.

Your well behaved pets are as welcome as you are. £7 per pet per night. Please enquire if you have any questions regarding suitability.
No pets on the beds or upstairs please.

Our barns are in a quiet location where you can hear birdsong rather than traffic notice, but just a 15 to 20 minute walk to pubs, restaurant and village shop. Maldon town less than 10 minutes drive.

Free off street parking.

Set in open arable farmland to the front and rear, there is ample off road parking and enclosed gardens.

There is a designated play area with climbing frame, swings and slide. We have a range of bicycles available.
We have chickens and provide fresh eggs when available.

This is a small private complex of four individually designed converted barns.
The Shire Stables detached barn. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Sleeping 10 max. Hot tub in the rear garden is exclusively for use of the guests in this barn.
The Hay Barn with shared front garden and separate rear patio and garden. 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6 plus sofa bed. 3 bathrooms (2 with showers no bath) all en-suite.
The Cart Lodge with shared front garden and separate rear patio. 1 bedroom, sleeps 2 plus sofa bed. Bath with shower above en-suite.



CANCELLATION If you wish to cancel you must inform us by e-mail. If cancellation is made the following charges will be levied:• More than 12 weeks prior to stay – 100% refund less administration fee of 5%• More than 8 weeks prior to stay - Loss of deposit• Between 8 weeks to 6 weeks - 50% charge• Between 6 weeks to 5 weeks - 85% charge. After 5 weeks 100% charge.
