House on the hill

Our stay at Villa Mastrissa was wonderful! It was a really nice house with plenty of room for the seven of us. Livio the host was really welcoming and responsive. The big hot tub is really nice in the late afternoon after exploring all day. Taormina was a lot of fun!

Paradise in Taormina

Our time at Villa Matrissa was the highlight of our trip to Sicily!!! The property is beautiful, the owners are delightful and accomodating in every way answering questions and arranging rides for us. We requested three optional catered meals during our stay and Livio and Giovanna expertly organized and flawlesslty executed delicious, authentic Sicilian multi-course cuisine for us. We enjoyed our time by the pools and exquisite food at their large dining room table. Villa Matrissa was ideal for our family of 8 and the perfect setting for my husband's 70th birthday celebration trip. We stayed four nights and in retrospect wish we had planned to stay longer.
