Really enjoyed our stay there the place was lovely and clean it couldn't be any closer to the beach and there's lots of amazing coastal walks around the area too absolutely loved it there
Comfortable second floor flat which is well equipped, with sea views and only 2 mins walk from a fine beach in a quiet corner of Gower. A smashing place to chill out.
The Hollie House is a unque apartment rental above the owners ground floor home. It is spacious, and comfortable, but not as new or newly remodeled as many Vbro offerings, and is a bit difficult to find. The owners are very friendly and will accommodate needs for you when asked, but don't expect much in the way of extras. The charm is the quaint village setting and beach.
Stayed in the middle floor with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/lounge. Right next to the beach with water views from most rooms. Laura very accomodating to make our stay easy.
Lovely setting, so close to the beach. Laura & her dad were very helpful and friendly. As I’ve read before in reviews - it is basic - follow the advice to stock up at supermarkets in the way - you will need everything from salt & pepper to loo roll (one roll is installed there) as there are no extras to fall back on. We enjoyed walking the dog on the beach, swimming (lifeguards on Horton beach) and pottering to the Ship Inn. A few excursions to Three Cliffs, Rhossili & The Mumbles but the weather was so hot we mostly stayed on Horton beach. The views from the top apartment we had were fantastic - you could hear the sea - what more could you want.
The Hollies is perfect for a small family get away near the beach and well situated for other destinations on the Gower. Laura was a helpful and communicative host and we had everything we needed to suit our family and dog. Really enjoyed our stay.
Our family had a wonderfully relaxing break here in February and dreaming of coming back during warmer months. Having beach at the bottom of the garden simply can not be beaten. Really appreciated warm welcome and very prompt communication.
We stayed in this gorgeous house for a weekend of sea and sunshine. Perfect place to unwind, get a great nights sleep and wake up to breakfast on a balcony with a perfect view. You look over the huge garden to the beach and rolling waves. In between the garden and the beach is the coast path, just a short walk to the Port and cream teas, cappuccino's and great fish and chips. Incredibly relaxing, peaceful and beautiful.
Property was just as expected. Communication with owners was very good, they were very welcoming and helpful.
Beautiful location, perfect for the beach. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes walk away. Overall a very nice stay and would definitely go back.
We had a great stay and relaxing time - the beach is directly behind the house and the garden is spacious. Laura was a great host and very helpful with answering questions. It's easy to get to other beaches on the Gower Peninsula.
Danke vielmals!
The house the gardens were excellent, Laura and her father were fantastic friendly and helpful.
The surrounding country side the beach and the walks and the pub was great.
Would recommend it to anyone, the weather was not so kind but will definitely return.

Relaxing family break by the sea.
The Hollies is in an excellent position within two minutes of the beach and walking distance to Port Eynon. It is very clean and has everything you need for a family stay by the sea. The large garden is an added bonus for the children and for sitting outside. The village is very pretty and quiet but nearby Port Eynon has a small shop, two cafes and a pub serving meals. The bedrooms are roomy and there is a balcony with furniture and sea view. The kitchen is well equipped and lounge and dining area comfortable and light.
