Lovely holiday. Very relaxing. Comfortable rooms. We had the swimming pool to ourselves most of the time. Car needed to get to best beaches on the island. Thanks to Helen and Steve for making our stay.

Modern, Energy-Efficient Apartments

There are four apartments in this complex, all looking out to the beautiful pool deck. Each apartment has it's own patio with table and chairs, again overlooking the lovely pool. It is a few minutes walk to a black sand, shallow beach. Nice, white beaches can be reached at Agia Napa or Proteras within a 20 minute drive. The pool was always clean and warm. The apartments are located about 10 minutes from the city of Larnaca and are generally pretty quiet. There were some dogs in the neighborhood that barked all night, but we couldn't hear them much with the windows closed and a/c on. We initially reserved a two-bedroom unit, but after several weeks we were contacted by Steve who said there was a problem with the reservation. He kindly gave us two one-bedroom apartments adjacent to each other instead. The apartments are nicely revovated with fully-equipped kitchens and good mattresses. The B1 apartment had an automatic drip coffee pot which was greatly appreciated. B1 has been recently equipped with an energy-efficient a/c "Booster" in the living room/kitchen area which only allows a maximum of two hours before it goes off and must be set again. This could be a problem if the futons in the living room are used for sleeping .and people on the futons don't want to sleep in the heat. The room got warm quickly when the booster went off. The bedroom a/c was thankfully not on the booster system, so continued to run and cool nicely at night. It did take several hours for the apartments to cool after arrival, but they cooled pretty quickly after that. Another problem with B1 is that a transparent shade has been installed on the window of the bedroom. Other apartments appear to have darkening shades in all rooms. This was an inconvenience, as the hot sun came brightly into the room at 6:00 and the room became warm quickly after that even though the a/c was running. I really didn't enjoy waking up every morning at sunrise during my holiday. It would be good if the owner could switch the shades in the living room and bedroom. Check in was also a problem, as the incorrect address was provided to us. In spite of the few issues we encounterd, we enjoyed our stay and would recommened these apartments.

We love to travel and have visited over 30 different countries all over the world, staying from a tent in The Kruger Park, South Africa, to The Fairmont in San Fransisco.

Glass doors open out onto private terraces overlooking the pool, and the balcony of the first-floor studio apartment offers views that stretch to Larnaca Bay and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.
