Our property is an immaculate 3 bedroom penthouse situated in the prime location of Quinta da Boa Nova. The development is a private community which benefits from numerous leisure facilities including, swimming pools (main pool and children's pool) and tennis courts. It is located equal distance from both the fishing village of Ferragudo and the bustling resort of Carvoeiro. The location also provides easy access to the Championship golf courses of Gramacho and Vale da Pinta (5 minutes away). For those looking to explore the coastline we are only a few minutes away from numerous beaches including the excellent Caneiros beach. The property is a 45 min drive from Faro Airport.
The apartment consists of good spacious areas throughout and is furnished to a very high standard. The entrance hall gives access to a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with a ultility room and a balcony with a gas BBQ. The light and airy living room opens onto a large spacious covered terrace that allows you to enjoy meals with fantastic open views. There are 3 large bedrooms, which will comfortably sleep 6 people - 2 double bedrooms and one twin room, all with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and Juliet balcony. There is an additional family bathroom and separate cloakroom. Two of the bedrooms and the lounge have direct access to the large terrace.
The apartment is ideally located to take advantage of numerous activities including, sailing, windsurfing, horse riding, coastal walks, golf, cycling, sea fishing and has local attractions such as, water parks, Zoo marine, bars and restaurants, coastal boat trips - a unique experience to explore beautiful caves and see the local marine wildlife.
There are several large supermarkets nearby and Portimao is just a ten minute drive away which has a large modern shopping mall.
There is a large TV and free Wi-fi both in the apartment and around the resort.
Tourist Tax
Please note : With effect from 1st May 2024 the Portuguese Tax Authorities introduced a Tourist Tax in the Algarve region. The tax is charged per person/per night in all tourist resorts and local accommodation establishments, up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights per person/per stay.
The tax is levied on guests aged 13 or over and is applied throughout the year in accordance with the stipulated amounts:
€1 per overnight stay per person up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights per person, between November 1st and March 31st - low season.
€2 per night and per person up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights stay/person, between April 1st and October 31st - high season.
The payment needs to be made prior to your arrival and must be paid by bank transfer to the host, as it is not included in the rental cost.
