Typical Ardèche stone house, the renovation of which has just been completed. You will enjoy the charm of an old house with all current comfort and high-end services: fully equipped oak kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher ...), 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers , washing machine, 3 bedrooms, one on the ground floor under the vaults with separate bathroom WC, living room with convertible sofa, TV, beautiful wooden terrace with views of the cliffs of the Chassezac Gorges and surrounding vineyards, garden areas with its century-old mulberry tree in the beneficial shade, garden furniture, barbecue, hammock.


Access to the river on foot in 3 minutes to taste the joys of swimming in the Chassezac, but also of fishing and canoeing. You will also be hard at work to take the many hiking trails through the Bois de Païolive and the Chassezac Gorges. Mountain bikers will not be outdone as the region is rich in numerous technical single tracks. Jean-Luc, the owner who is also a mountain bike instructor and mountain guide, will be happy to help you prepare your hikes and why not accompany you!
Climbers will be thrilled in this Mecca of climbing in France with the many cliffs nearby (Chaulet, Mazet ...) and the boulder routes.
But you will also have the possibility of indulging in the joys of caving, canyoning, paragliding in complete safety thanks to the supervision of qualified instructors.

But the region also offers countless riches for those who are not fans of the effort: character villages, caves, Ardèche Gorges, local markets, museums, festivals, gourmet visits (cellars ...).

Great appartment with a nice backyard to read and relax, free view from our terrace upon the open fields, friendly and reliable host living vis-à-vis who only shows up when needed. Sehr sauberes Haus mit allem ausgestattet, was man zur Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Handtücher und Reinigung muss vor Ort gebucht werden, falls gewünscht. Der Vermieter ist supernett und hilfsbereit, er spricht englisch. Allerdings ist weder die Treppe noch das Dorf für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Gesundheit geeignet. Man sollte sich auch mit Mückenschutz gut ausstatten, da der Fluss Chessenac in unmittelbarer Nähe ist und es dadurch sehr viele Stechmücken gibt. Direkt nebenan ist ein Weingut, es gibt sehr guten Wein im Direktvertrieb. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und können es absolut weiterempfehlen.Vielen Dank noch mal an Jean-Luc, den Vermieter. Ursula und Rosella

Très belle de semaine de vélo de route : Ardèche du Sud, Gard et Lozère.Maison idéalement placé pour rayonner : gorges de l'ardèche, cévènnes, Plateau : Col de Meyrand et Crois de Beauzon, diversité des paysages unique, nombreux villages de caractères à proximité : La Beaume, Banne, Nave, ...Conseils avisés de Jean Luc sur les parcoursles plus : Proximité de la rivière Chassezac, bonnes caves un faible pour celle de Jalès.

Séjour très agréable

Un hébergement très fonctionnel pour deux couples . Grande propreté avec des aménagements tout à fait adaptés .Un propriétaire à l'écoute , très disponible , et d'une grande discrétion. Située à l'orée d'un petit village offrant une vue très large sur les vignes et les reliefs alentour cette propriété offre calme et tranquillité à proximité immédiate de gorges impressionnantes . Wir haben ein schönes, sauberes und geräumiges Haus mit hilfsbereitem Vermieter angetroffen. Unser jüngstes Familienmitglied (2Monate alt) konnte mit seinen Eltern in einem gesonderten Apartment mit eigenem WC und Dusche schlafen. Das war ideal. Die Umgebung ist ideal für vielfältige Unterneungen. Zum Baden braucht man nur 5 Minuten. Perfekt! Danke Jean-Luc

Un très sejour en Ardeche, La propriété est très sympa, je dirais même mieux en vrai que sur les photos. La maison est propre, un grand salon. Une belle terrasse avec peu de moustique au final grâce aux hirondelles certainement :) On peut se baigner à 5 minutes à pieds, l'endroit est calme, des randonnées pas loin etc.. le gérant est très sympa, présent si besoin. Bref je recommande

Vacances au calme

Très bon accueil, gîte impeccable, propre, confortable et bien équipé. Bon point de départ pour visiter la région, non loin de jolis villages perchés, de Vallon Pont d'Arc, de nombreuses grottes et des gorges de l'Ardèche. Le jardin est plus grand en réalité qu'il ne le semble sur la photo. En juin tout au moins le calme est plus qu'appréciable. Le temps un peu maussade ne nous a malheureusement pas permis d'utiliser souvent la terrasse, c'est dommage !

super semaine en famille

Entre frères et sœurs nous avons passé une semaine superbe dans cette maison située au milieu des vignes tout près du chassezac. Le gite très confortable est spacieux, clair, la petite terrasse en hauteur très agréable avec une belle vue sur les gorges et le jardinet en bas idéal pour la petite sieste!. Nous étions venus pour randonner et avec les conseils de Jean Luc nous avons découvert des endroits sublimes. La région est magnifique et la semaine ne nous a pas suffit pour tout découvrir, aussi nous reviendrons certainement et nul doute que nous relouerons ce gite. Merci Jean Luc pour votre gentillesse et vos bons conseils!

Au top !

La location était tellement bien qu'il est inconcevable que nous n'y revenions pas. Que ce soit la gentillesse ou les conseils de nos hôtes, l'environnement, la proximité d'autant d'activités si variées (randonnées, escalade, visites de musées, de sites historiques ou gastronomiques, etc. ) le gite lui même, dont l'aménagement et la décoration, sans parler d'une propreté exemplaire, font s'y sentir comme chez soi, tout nous invite à revenir. Même si les photos sont belles, la réalité l'est encore plus : Les chambres sont spacieuses, tout comme la salle de bain dont la douche italienne est une pure merveille, la cuisine est fonctionnelle et très bien équipée, notamment avec ses plaques vitrocéramiques, loin des plaques électriques que l'on rencontre trop souvent, le salon spacieux et aéré qui s'ouvre sur une terrasse permettant de déjeuner tout en profitant d'une vue magnifique. La chambre séparée bénéficie de tout le confort avec des rangements, un lavabo, des sanitaires et une douche, le tout dans une pièce dont le cachet est indéniable. Cette chambre séparée est idéale pour les vacances en couples d'amis, surtout si l'une des familles a des enfants et pas l'autre, car elle permet de préserver l'intimité des uns et des autres, tout en se retrouvant à table ou au salon. Le jardin a quant à lui fait le bonheur des enfants. Nous n'étions pas encore parti que nous parlions déjà de revenir, et nul doute que ce soit le cas pour quiconque y soit venu.

Génial !!

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve! Le gite est exactement comme montré sur les photos, mais en mieux! Sur les photos, on ne devine pas, par exemple, que les lits, les oreillers, les draps... sont confortables à souhait! On n'imagine pas non plus comment l'agencement est bien conçu... on s'y sent tellement bien qu'on y resterait beaucoup plus longtemps, s'il ne fallait pas un jour rentrer travailler...! Et, par dessus tout cela, une propreté rare et un accueil chaleureux. Vivement nos prochaines vacances... on y retourne :)

Gite très agréable, spacieux et bien situé. Levés du soleil depuis le gite merveilleux en hiver, très belles randonnées de tous niveaux à faire. Accueil chaleureux et de très très bons conseils pour les activités. A consommer sans modération été comme hiver. Merci Jean Luc.
