For a time my Husband and I worked as secret shoppers for the Ritz Carlton Hotel chain. Our job was to use all of the hotel services as undercover guests and report back to the management to help them maintain their 5 star rating. We learned a lot about how to treat guests with the care and attention they deserve. Give us a call and let us design the perfect 5 star experience for you. SVR-00518

About June Alston
Greg and I recently moved to downtown Savannah, and we love it. We bought this unique brick 1866 townhouse with a lovely courtyard and carriage house. We've already renovated the carriage house and are currently working on the main house. We are anxious to share our new home with family, friends, and new aquaintances. We have traveled the world and so have met many wonderful people along the way. We hope to keep making new friends and creating new stories to share. Greg and I are both pharmacists. He continues to work as the Associate Dean of the Savannah campus of South University School of pharmacy. When we moved to Savannah I retired! I am now going to manage our carriage house vacation rental. I also quilt, quite a bit. You will see some of my art displayed in the carriage house.
June Alston purchased this Guest House in 2016
Why June Alston chose Beach Institute
When looking to buy a home for our move to Savannah, we thoroughly searched every area surrounding downtown. But we just kept returning to downtown for the vibrant energy that exists in the historic city. Our historic 1866 brick townhouse met all of our needs and we know you will love it also. You can walk to everywhere from here but the nights are quiet and peaceful and away from the noise of the night spots. People who have never been to Savannah can be fooled by looking at a map. The neighborhoods here change block by block. A 200 foot difference can make a huge difference in your experience. this property is Safe , Quiet and close in to all the must see sights.

Great location and wonderful hostess. Great amenities, lovely welcome basket and very helpful if we had any questions. Just delightful.
Very clean and accomadating!!!!
Glad you enjoyed your stay. You guys sure kept busy.
We welcome everyone here to enjoy our home so they can visit savannah as it is meant to be seen by foot. The beauty of our city is the historical charm of the squares, the parks, the riverfront, and the restaurants and watering holes. And everything is within walking distance from our carriage house.
Come back and see us again soon,
Exceeded our expectations!
The carriage house is lovely! Clean, comfortable, quiet, safe...June anticipates every need here. We were able to park our car and leave it for our entire visit as everything was easy walking distance...and a lovely walk, too, in beautiful Savannah. Excellent value
Glad you enjoyed your stay. The Carriage house is in a prime location and the beauty of it is... it is in a quiet location just a short walk to all the action. if you stay to close to action it can be difficult to get a good night's sleep.
Don't forget if you want to come back to Savannah with a larger group we have the Townhouse over on Harris street just a few blocks North of here. (912817 vrbo #)
I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Location and space were fantastic. June was an amazing host. All the little touches made for a great experience.
Thanks for staying at the carriage house on Jones Street Brenda. I enjoyed getting to meet you. I hope you will come back and visit Savannah again soon.
Perfect Carriage House
My wife and I stayed at the carriage house during our recent spring break trip to Savannah. June and Greg, the owners were wonderful hosts, thinking of every detail to make our visit memorable. From the welcome basket, full of treats and even a bottle of wine, to a comfortable bed with great pillows, to games, and even reading glasses!, no detail went missing. Located on Southern Livings “most beautiful street in the South,” we were close enough to walk throughout the historic district, to several great restaurants, and to the visitors center to take a trolley tour. Located behind the main house, and above the garage, we had parking, so no need to pay to park. The carriage house has a fully equipped kitchen (even a Kitchen Aid mixer and a bread maker), and everything thing one would need. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at the carriage house if you plan to visit the Savannah area.
Thanks for the wonderful review. I can't really add anything about the property you said it perfectly.
If you loved the carraige house but want to come back with friends check out our 2 bedroom townhouse over on Harriss street. It is just 100 yards from here and has 2 bedrooms each with private bath and a brand new kitchen, plus off street parking.
Thanks again for staying with us, I hope to see you again soon.
Great location and hosts, June, Gus, and Greg.
June was gracious and attentive both before and during our one week stay. Second floor “studio” apartment was perfect for us two humans and dog, Ruby. Secured courtyard was great for us to sit and relax and for letting Ruby roam, play, and potty unleashed. Convenient parking spot and walking distance to everything was a real bonus.
Ruby, Thanks for staying with us. I really enjoyed meeting your humans too. Next time maybe we can chase some squirrels together.
Hope to see you again soon
