The apartment is clean, comfortable and smartly decorated with bright and airy rooms and offers very comfortable beds with only the best top grade 12-inch orthopedic memory foam mattresses that give an excellent night’s sleep as well as a high speed fiber-optic wireless internet. There are plenty of mirrors for dressing and Trouser Press and ironing board. There's also a corner office for Business and using Computer.

As the apartment is only a few minutes away to public transport, it affords easy access to the City of London for business, West End for shopping and of course central London for Theatre and Sight-seeing.

There is a smartly furnished lounge that has comfortable sofa seating for 6 people. The lounge has a 42 inch (107cms) flat screen TV connected to all UK terrestrial TV channels in addition to Virgin Cable TV providing around 300 channels.

There is a very well equipped kitchen and the dining area comfortably seats 8 people. The well equipped compact kitchen has a fridge freezer, electric cooker, Microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster and washing machine. Pots, pans and cutlery etc provided enough for 8 people.

For relaxing and socializing, Hampstead Heath, Regents Park and Trendy Bars/Pubs, cosy bistros, diverse quality restaurants, shops & independent stores are only minutes away. The flat was well-maintained and in a great location!

The flat was wonderful for our family of four. Lorraine is a conscientious owner who went out of her way to make sure we knew where to find everything we needed. It is located only a short walk from the Underground station. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in London!

Comfortable and convenient to transportation

A friend and I just returned home from our stay in London. This property was absolutely perfect for the two of us! Plenty of room and very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. The owner, Lorraine, met us upon arrival and was so helpful...ensuring we knew where to find whatever we needed. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for "a home away from home" while in London. Thanks again, Lorraine!

Perfect choice

Great stay, apartment was very comfortable for the two of us and could easily of supported a larger group. It is no more than a 3 minute walk to the underground and a small grocery. Had everything we needed and was very well appointed. It was a quiet building and neighborhood, which was nice after a long day sightseeing. Ate dinner one evening at a local pub down the road. It was delicious. Lots of eating choices a short walk from apartment. Found the owner readily available for questions and very helpful. Highly recommend

Excellent place for our London stay

The property was exactly what we needed for our 4 day stay in London. Confortable, well maintained and extremely convenient for transport options. Lorraine met us on arrival and gave us a good overall introduction to the flat and the various nearby facilities. We all felt very much "at home" while we were there, and will certainly consider staying there again next time we are in London. There were 4 of us in the flat and there was more than enough space for everyone.

Large flat in a super location

Four of us stayed in this flat and it worked beautifully for us. It is fairly large, well-appointed and comfortable.

The owner has exacting standards, so there are rules in place which you should note. Also unlike many VRBOs, the entire payment plus the deposit is expected at the time of booking.

The flat is minutes away from the West Hampstead Tube station (Jubilee Line) and is on three major bus routes, which is a great help.

Owner's Response: Guests are probably not aware that even if you pay months in advance, Hosts only get paid AFTER their Guests has actually checked in. In the interim, ALL funds Guests pay for their booking including the entire Deposit is held by VRBO/HomeAway, not their Hosts. Concerning Bookings:- Also, many Hosts including me, offer price per day/week/month based on number of Guests. For example, £120/per night for up to 4 Guests. So, when a booking is for 5 Guests, then, there will be extra charge for (in this example ONE extra GUEST). Again, the amount of this extra cost varies depending on the individual Host pricing. Now, if an apartment sleeps up to 8 people like mine and a Guest books for 2 Guests. Theoretically, they can bring 2 more people. we ask our Guests in this case to let us know in advance. This is so the cleaners can make up enough beds and put out extra towels etc. However, if a Guest books for 2 people, Checks in 2 people and then 8 people are staying at the property, or even another family with no notice whatsoever, this is in-appropriate. Also, for security and safety reasons, we need to know how many people are staying in the apartment.

Great Apartment for a vacation/quick trip

Apartment was comfortable, with all the amenities that you'd need to make your stay great. Washer on site was handy. Full kitchen, Having the large master bedroom with shower helped make traveling with kids even more comfortable. They had their own bathtub/shower which was great. Owner was awesome. Meeting us on arrival to explain all the details about the apartment including the free wifi. Close to Underground/Overground, and multiple bus stops. Great restaurants/pubs, and shopping within walking or bus ride away. It was a nice place to come home to after a day of running around in London. We felt safe and comfortable even coming home late at night. Great place to call home for a week.

THE AREA

Located in the heart of it all, The neighbourhood is a residential area adjacent to Central London's tourist attractions.

Locally, the apartment is a stone's throw from West End Lane hosting bountiful shops, restaurants, and bars that are always buzzing with activity. There are also a couple of hidden gems which we can tell you about when you arrive. There is a Sainsbury's, Tesco and Waitrose all just a five minutes walk away. Every Saturday and Sunday there are markets next to the train station selling nik naks and hot and cold food and drink.

Really, this typically English corner of London has a lot more to recommend it; you could spend a lifetime exploring, without ever retracing your steps.

GETTING AROUND FROM THE APARTMENT

You’ll love my place because of Getting Around.

London’s Jubilee Line, Overground and Thameslink networks are right on your doorstep, with services to St Pancras for Eurostar (7 mins), Westminster (Houses of Parliament and other attractions in the area) (14 mins), West End (15 mins), Bank (25 mins), Canary Wharf (25 mins) and airports Heathrow (35 mins), London City (40 mins), Gatwick (55 mins) and Stansted (1hr 20mins).

The West Hampstead Thameslink train station, which is just four minutes walk away has trains to/from Luton Airport, Gatwick Airport and St Pancras Station and also to Brighton. Stansted airport is accessible via a bus with pick up/drop off on Finchley Road just 9 minute's walk away. Heathrow Airport connections can be made using the Heathrow Express or Piccadilly Line and Jubilee Line. There are a number of minicab companies that offer fixed price fares to all the major airports.

The overground is just beyond the train station but still no more than a 5 minute walk. From there, you can get the train to many other parts of London including the famously trendy Shoreditch, Camden Town, Soho, Kings Cross, in fact anywhere!

The underground is very close to the overground. West Hampstead is on the Jubilee Line which takes you into hub stations such as Waterloo and Kings Cross in about 10 minutes, or out to Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena in about the same time. 12 minutes to London Theatre land, Museums and Hot spots in West End of London.

The buses are two minutes away and are also very well connected in West Hampstead. There Trains and/or Buses to take you wherever you want to go. For example, shopping in Oxford Street/Bond Street. Walk to Regents Park or Hampstead Heath - a perfect place to relax, enjoy peace and quiet on a sunny day.

Nearby, there is the famous Maida Vale. If you visit Little Venice, you can opt to stroll along the canal or go for a ride on the Waterbus. The Waterbus service operates daily from Little Venice around Regent's Park, stopping at the ZSL London Zoo and finally at Camden Town/Lock which is another must in a visitor's list.

It is also very easy to flag a black cab in the street.

If you want to enjoy some peaceful tranquillity of fresh green open space, London's famous Regents park and Hampstead Heath are literally 10 minutes' away, where you can hire a boat on the boating lake or visit the world renowned London Zoo and from London Zoo you can take the ZSL to famous Camden Lock where the famous Camden Market is.

If you venture 15 minutes' away to the east of the apartment, you will arrive at the bustling and bohemian location of Camden Lock with all its numerous bars and alternative shopping for pop and rock memorabilia.

So, really, West Hampstead's stations make commuting so simple - whether it be for business or play. And if sightseeing, shopping in the West End, getting to the City or Canary Wharf is easy, so too is getting away, with great connections to international travel hubs such as St Pancras, Luton, Stanstead and Gatwick within easy reach.

Every booking is genuinely appreciated however, we operate a VERY STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PARTY, NO EVENTS/ GATHERINGS, NO PETS POLICY. Also for security reasons, Photo-ID and CC of the person who paid will be required at Check-in. Sorry, no exceptions, No-ID NO KEYS! The apartment is in a SAFE, quiet residential block and there will be no refunds for breaking any of the house rules.

There are however, Trendy Bars and Pubs only a few minutes walk away from the apartment. We would be more than happy to point them out to you and answer any other questions you have.
About your Deposit: HomeAway will hold your deposit as they are both our intermediary. Your FULL deposit will
be returned to you 7 days after your stay if there are no damages caused

Late check-in option is available for guests arriving after 8pm but it is chargeable & payable in Cash. £40 for all check-ins between 8pm to 10pm; 10pm to midnight is £60; after 10pm & before 9am then the fee is £105, for the service.
If your arrival time is delayed beyond 1 hour then please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate the delay however we may need to re-arrange the check-in time or for you to collect the keys from another location if we have other pre-arranged commitments.
Check-out is strictly by 11:00 Hours. That is, 11 AM (in the morning) at the latest.
