Esta espaciosa cabina se encuentra en las proximidades de El Vado y Lagos Heron. Mutliple familias y los niños! Situado a unos 25 minutos al sur de Chama esta ubicación es ideal para disfrutar de los lagos y la región Chama. Abundante vida silvestre, con ciervos, alces, pavo, y más. Este 3200 + sq. Ft., 4 dormitorios, 3 baños, puede alojar cómodamente 10-12, con sofás y colchones de aire si se necesitan más camas.
Hemos comprado esta casa como nuestra familia le encanta la zona y todo lo que ofrece en la región y al aire libre cerca. Queremos que los demás disfrutan de alejarse de esta hermosa zona y tienen un lugar asequible para alojarse mientras se exploran, relajarse y divertirse nuevas aventuras de la familia / amigos.
Esta casa tiene electrodomésticos nuevos, parrilla al aire libre, jacuzzi caliente sala de bañera / juego con una mesa de ping-pong. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king y un futón. 2ª hab arriba. tiene una cama de matrimonio. habitaciones inferiores: uno tiene reina y el otro tiene una reina y una cama litera con colchones de tamaño completo en la parte superior e inferior. mesa de comedor cocina se expande y tiene sillas para 10. Enorme marquesina cabrá múltiples. autos y el garaje también está disponible cuando sea necesario.

The hosts were amazing with communication and super sweet. The place is enormous, comfy, and stocked with a lot of family fun activities. A simple stay for a destination wedding turned into a fun weekend filled with memories! We will definitely make our way up again!

Great Place to Unplug

There were 8 of us and never felt cramped. Great layout with the noisy areas separate from the living and sleeping areas. Game room had a good roomy hot tub, ping pong, air hockey, and foozball table. Sits between 2 lakes but drought and Dam work has left them at very low levels and slow fishing. Fortunately there are many other opportunities within short driving distance. For us the lack of wifi, cable, cell, and satellite service was perfect for family time. The owner has provided a wide selection of DVDs for kicking back. It is just a couple miles for cell service so not a huge inconvenience. Have to keep in mind you are in a wilderness area. Did have a rattlesnake in the driveway which has ample parking. We got all 3 full size vehicles under the carport without being cramped. Lots of deer, elk, and wild Turkeys. The area has some of the most beautiful and diverse scenery in NM. I have been visiting this area yearly for 62 years and never leave disappointed.If you are looking for city amenities and conveniences, this is not a place that has any of that. There is a working narrow gauge train in the summer that takes you up through Cumbres Pass into Colorado. Santa Fe is about 2 hours south and Pagosa Springs, Co is a little over an hour to the north.Great place to stay with many day trip options.

dusting of the tv stand and the front porch table, one rocking chair back porch was broken, kitchen cabinet needs fixed. Kitchen could have had a little more TLC.the place was very roomy and that was a plus, overallwe had a great time!

The canin

It was a nice cabin, it would be nice if it had WiFi but other than that it was great. You have to drive about 4 miles out to get service so if you’re trying to run work it’s a bit inconvenient but for 2 days it worked out great.

No air conditioning or cooling in the house!! Ouch!!

The place was OK, except one thing, had no cooling at all it was over 85 degrees in the house until late in the evening. They had 3 fans of which 2 worked. Called the owner was told that we have an evaporative cooler, but we haven't hooked it up. Was told if I could hook it up to do it, haha!! The owner called me up early in the day and said we could check in early if we wanted to. I really loved the location , about 30 minutes south of Chama.

Perfect home base in a beautiful setting

There were 9 adults in our group, Aunts and Uncles and cousins. This property worked exactly right for us. Close to the places we wanted to visit, beautiful wooded setting, some glorious sunsets, and lots of places to explore. Large kitchen to fix group meals and the dining table was perfect for playing games in the evening. Had a very lovely stay, only wish we had just a few days longer to enjoy it. We will be back next year. The host was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you we all enjoyed it.

Great relaxing family getaway

Beautiful, cabin with an open layout and plenty of family activities like cards, board games, ping pong table, air hockey, fooseball and the hot tub and a big collection of family friendly DVDs and all without internet. The kids were not distracted with the internet and were entertained and engaged with the family while we played games, went to the lake for fishing and watched movies. This was a much needed getaway, the house was stocked with all our needs. Thank you for sharing your beautiful getaway with us.

Booked this house for our family to stay for my son's wedding, and it was perfect! So, beautiful, had everything we needed and more... The kids (17-25) absolutely loved the game room, it was a huge hit, and I loved the hot tub! Would love to book again!

Clean and welcoming

We enjoyed our stay with our family. The cabin is dated and has some quirks to it. There are many light switches that you have to figure out. The upstairs was hot and was told to crack the windows and turn the swamp cooler on which worked somewhat but the windows don't stay open and some don't have screens. The backdoor screen was half way torn off. The upstairs master shower door is broken and the hot/cold water are touchy. The mud room and game room had a weird smell to it but could be because the cabin might have been closed for awhile before we showed up. We did a load of towels in the washer and the washer started leaking due to a crack in the seal of the washer. The hot tub water wasn't too clear. We didn't have a day pass to the lakes. The beds were comfy and clean. We enjoyed the games in the game room. And enjoyed seeing deer on the property. We liked being able to have a fire in the fire pit in the evening one night and made smores outside. Overall it was good to stay there with minor issues. Thanks for sharing your cabin.

FAMILY VACATION

The cabin was clean and roomy. There was only one air conditioner and the weather was hot.....we were not able to use any of the bedrooms upstairs because of the heat. The jets in the jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom did not work. All but one light was out in the playroom and the bedroom off of the carport had wolf spiders. With all of that said, we did enjoy the rental.

Family Gathering

This was a great mid-point gathering place for family from two states. The large home provided plenty of space for several activities at once and the game room was a big hit!
