Lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful location.
Lovely cottage in a quiet and peaceful location. There was everything you could need within the cottage itself - ample kitchen equipment, iron/ironing board, clothes airer/line and pegs, vacuum cleaner, logs for the burner. The bath/shower was problematic. The shower head appeared to be faulty and would spray water in all directions. As there was no shower curtain/screen you had to be very careful not to flood the bathroom. This is an area of the cottage that could definitely do with some attention. The mattresses were ok - certainly not the most comfortable but fine for a short stay. The bed linen was clean and duvet was an appropriate tog rating for the season. There is a paved patio with a table and four chairs. There is easily enough room to park two cars to the side of the cottage. The roads to/from the cottage are single track so be mindful if you are a nervy driver! Although not spotless, the cottage was suitably clean. For the age/location of the cottage the level of cleanliness was acceptable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend if you’re looking for a cosy home away from home!

Cottage was excellent in every aspect.
Cottage was excellent in every aspect. Heather was welcoming & the banana cake was delicious! It is located in a quiet area which suited us admirably. The cottage is well equipped & we thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean pleasant home-from-home. There are places to visit within easy (car) distance. A thoroughly enjoyable break, recommended without any hesitation.

We have just come back from a fantastic week at Copper Cottage.
We have just come back from a fantastic week at Copper Cottage. Our children (7 and 2) loved being able to visit the sheep and chickens and play in the hay barn. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and being able to relax in the countryside. Heather and Ric were wonderful hosts, giving us a tour of the farm to visit the cows. The property was very clean and Covid-19 measures were in place, and the property felt homely and comfortable.
We are planning to book again!

A beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need.
A beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need. Very spacious with lovely garden and patio area.
Heather and family were the perfect hosts and the welcome pack consisting of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, eggs and a tasty banana cake was, well, very welcoming.
The location is quiet but well within reach of various places to visit. We went to Beccles, nice to have a walk around, but also to stock up on provisions, they have Tesco and Morrison’s. We visited Southwold, Pleasurewood Hills theme park, Great Yarmouth, Norwich (recommend the Park and Ride) and we also had a day boat on the Broads.
The farm itself is a haven for kids. Our grandson especially loved the hay barn and the trampoline. But he was also excited to visit the horses and other farm animals.
All in all, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and look forward to visiting Copper Cottage again in the future.

Loved the spacious bedrooms and welcome from the owners.
Loved the spacious bedrooms and welcome from the owners. Beautiful, quiet spot with lots of wild life.
Not a cottage for those who like to be in the thick of the action. But they wouldn't be interested in a cottage holiday anyway.
Beccles is delightful and handy for provisions.
Plenty of places to go and the coast is nearby. I especially enjoyed the Roman sites at Caister St Edmund and Burgh Castle.
Norwich Park and Ride system is very good value and efficient.

We all, family of four (girls aged 8&11) had a fabulous time at copper cottage. A beautiful location and a cottage that was well equipped for a week of escaping the norm.
The cottage had everything we wanted and the girls enjoyed playing on the haybails and the huge trampoline.
Heather, Rick and Lucy are all very friendly hoasts, that were always happy to talk, and give advice where needed.
We enjoyed days out, we especially enjoyed the beaches at Southwold and the lido at Beccels.
The cottage is really spacious, and it was really refreshing to not have wifi for a week. Mobile signal comes and goes at the cottage, but a walk about the farm would be enough to pick up and send messages.
A great place to stay for a family -plenty of space in the cottage for all.
A big thank you for having us!
