Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher

Utility Room: Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer

Bedroom 1: Four Poster Super Kingsize (6ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: Bunk (Double On Bottom, Single Above) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet

First Floor:

Living room 2: 43" Smart TV, DVD Player, DVDs

Bedroom 3: Super Kingsize (6ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Air source heat pump central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request.. Garden with decked patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 3 cars. Electric car charging point (payable to owner). No smoking.. Hygge, pronounced ’her-ge’ means spending a calm, comfortable time with good friends or loved ones. You will find this at Hygge, an architect-designed house ensuring all your comforts are taken into consideration, eco-friendly with air source heating, patio doors and a wood burning stove. Situated in the crofting village of Ose, near Struan, with views over Loch Bracadale and the Islands of Tarner and Harlosh, you are able to enjoy the fabulous vista from the comfort of Hygge.



The area has much to offer in archaeology sites, all close by including Dun Beag Broch, St John’s Chapel, Feorlig chambered cairns, as well as historic Dunvegan Castle and Gardens, Giant Macaskill Museum, and coral beaches are only a short drive away. It is a good base to explore all parts of the island which has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast; hill walking, fishing, boat trips, kayaking, pony trekking as well as the opportunity to discover the many craft/art galleries for a more relaxing time and to be awestruck by the dramatic scenery, so come and enjoy! Beach 200 yards.

What a fabulous home from home! We were there in December, yet the accommodation was warm and welcoming. In fact we kept turning the heating down as it was too hot for us! Equipped with everything you are likely to need for your stay, I would definitely recommend Hygge. The only downside to our trip was the awful state of the roads on Skye. Quite often we would choose to stay in rather than try and drive on narrow roads full of potholes. If you thought English roads have a lot of potholes, you ain't seen nothing!
