Apartment Sea View is located on a quiet hill in a small settlement of Dobrota 2.5 km (5 min by car, 20 min by walking) from the Old Town of Kotor ( pronounced [kɔ̌tɔr]). Unique in its location, apartment is designed with a view of the Bay of Kotor, not far away from the sea (10 min by walking), and makes you away from the noise and crowds. It's a place where you will find everything that suits your needs and that will make you wish to come here again to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Short stay in Kotor

We had a 5 day vacation in Kotor and this was the perfect place for us to get-a-way! The location is super quiet at night and the views of the bay or AMAZING! Anja has a great balcony to sit on and enjoy the sunsets - just stunning! The kitchen, and the entire apartment for that matter, is fully equipped with any and everything you may need. Anja was a fantastic host, and gave us great suggestions on beaches and restaurants. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful apartment, beautiful view, beautiful city!

Just ideal for our needs.! Great location, very clean, well-appointed apartment. Just as advertised. Would highly recommend for any healthy adult (there are 5 flights of stairs to access the apt., -- well worth it!!

Breathtaking views - must stay

Anja was super friendly and responsive. On site parking was huge as we had a car. The view is absolutely stunning. The flat was spacious, quiet and clean. 2 bedrooms which was great and a full kitchen. We were able to walk to old town Kotor no problem. I’ll leave a photo of the sunset we captured!

Our 6 night stay at the "Apartment Sea View" was excellent. The view from the deck is even better than the picture! The apartment has everything you need including a great coffee maker (& supplied pods), a washing machine (& ample drying rack space), lots of space to spread out, and the gracious host even provided a bottle of wine & a Montenegran welcome platter with local meats & cheeses upon arrival. A few things to be aware of: 1) the apartment is up 5 flights of stairs (no elevator) so mobility-impaired guests will not be happy; 2) while there is ample parking on the street (no actual parking lot), this apartment is located in a neighborhood with many other complexes so creativity is often required to park your car; 3) being American we rarely encounter smoking anymore, but be aware that you will encounter significant smoking fumes while sitting on the balcony. If you are sensitive to this as we are, you will not be able to enjoy the balcony for long periods of time.If you are okay with these 3 things, then you will have a great time at this rental!

Super angenehm, Anja und ihr Vater kümmerten sich unglaublich gut um Alles. Zwei sehr liebenswerte Menschen. Wir fühlten uns wie Zuhause. Die Wohnung ist mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und mit Allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der Blick von Balkon und Schlafzimmer ist wie aus dem Bilderbuch.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wohnung ist super ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Der Blick vom Balkon ist spektakulär mit Sicht auf die Bucht und ab und zu liegt ein Kreuzfahrtschiff direkt davor. Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in Kotor. Nur das Umfeld der Wohnung ist nicht so schön, da sie in einer "etwas" älteren Wohngegend liegt.

Innen toll, draußen nicht so.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem normalen Wohngebiet im 3. Stock. Von außen macht alles nicht viel her, aber die Wohnung ist toll. Die Eltern der Vermieterin wohnen nebenan und haben uns in alles eingewiesen. Besonders die Dusche sollte man sich gut erklären lassen. Schöner Balkon mit Blick auf die Bucht. Der zugehörige Parkplatz in Garage war uns zu kompliziert, aber wir haben in der Nähe immer was gefunden.

Great place

The owners of this property are great people. I got the chance to talk with them for awhile and the owners dad is very interesting person. If you get the chance, spend a little time talking with him.The apartment was very nice and clean. The location has a great view. However you will get some exercise, it is on the 5th floor without an elevator. And the building is also about 700 feet above the old town of Kotor. It is about a 1 1/2 half mile walk to the town, and there is none or very few sidewalks in most of the town. You will walk in the street it will feel very unsafe, given how people drive in the area. Now the only issue I had with location is the neighborhood. It is a lived in location and had a lot of run down apartment buildings. You will see some public drunkenness and some colorful people in the neighborhood. Nothing felt unsafe, but can see some folks feeling uncomfortable. I would book this place again. The best advice I have is use your rental car as an elevator, don't try to park close to the old town, just park the car at the bottom of the hill, there is plenty of street parking at the bottom of the hill. And walk to old town. Then walk back and drive the car up the monster hill. We didn't figure this out until the second day. There is a garage to park your car so you don't have to fight for parking in local neighborhood.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Apartment is located in the small peaceful settlement of Dobrota. The housing estate is called Sveta Vraca because there was a Catholic church on the hill called All Saints which was built in the late XV century. It served as a cemetery of Dobrota fraternities until it was abandoned in the late XIX century. The place is very quiet witch is good for those who need rest and peace. There are numerous paths and roads that lead to the sea (15-20 min by walking or 5-10 min by car), Dobrota promenade and the center (Old Town). In the vicinity of the apartment there are few market shops and a couple of excellent restaurants and taverns by the sea where you can eat traditional specialties and delicatessen.

Beside Kotor's most beautiful view, that you can enjoy all day from the balcony of the apartment, you will fall in love with unique Montenegro hospitality , culture, historic places and amazing cuisine. For wine lovers, there is an excellent variety of local wines that you can enjoy. And for those who are adventurers and like activities, there is so much to see and do for fun (kayaking, boat excursions, mountain climbing, etc).
