Great for walkers with lovely country, woodland and coastal walks close by, and family fun at The Big Sheep and Milky Way are close by.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. Patio with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced lake and two steps in the property grounds.. This two bedroom detached Scandinavian style lodge is the perfect peaceful retreat with lovely country, woodland and coastal walks close by, and many beaches and hidden coves to explore. The deck which wraps around two sides of the lodge is the ideal spot to relax and unwind. Cycling, riding, surfing, sailing and fishing are all available locally and the famous surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are an easy drive. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks are close by and the area has many highly acclaimed local pubs and restaurants to enjoy. There are several National Trust properties in the area, The Eden Project as well as the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 2.5 miles.

Loved this lodge and holiday.

Loved this lodge and holiday. We opted to not camp due to the forecast (booked last minute for what must've been a cancellation). The lodge was so cosy, had a lovely outlook and was so peaceful. We cooked in the lodge every night to keep costs down. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The main bed we found really comfortable and the terrace was lovely to sit and read on when it was raining. I would say the single beds need to be more comfortable and terrace furniture need an upgrade but all in all I would definitely recommend this lodge.

An out of the way location accessed by single track road. The lodge was clean and tidy but the double bed was rather uncomfortable. Also, the double bed had not been fitted with a bottom sheet and this had to be requested. There is no wi-fi connection.

Fantastic place to get away from it all.

Fantastic place to get away from it all. Everywhere is basically 30min away. Perfect for exploring Cornwall and Devon. Only complaint (and I am being picky) was the mattress in the master bedroom.
