Captain Morgan's Beach House is an Upscale Waterfront Home only 4 mi to Downtown

Captain Morgan's is a large two bedroom vacation rental is on the upper floor of a waterfront duplex. It is very roomy with over 1,500 sq ft of living space. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, walk-in closet and a private master bathroom with a large 2 person walk-in shower. The second bedroom is spacious, has vaulted ceilings and a queen size bed. The main bathroom is across the hall from the second bedroom and it has a tub/shower combination. There is also a small den that has a twin bed in it.
Large picture windows wrap around the master bedroom, living room & dining room area framing an amazing ocean view. It has a large open galley type kitchen fit for a chef.

One of the nicest features of this house is the enclosed deck with glass railings for a total unobstructed view of the ocean. The deck has comfortable seating and a gas barbeque.

The location is perfect! It is only 4 miles from downtown, 3 miles to Herring Cove, 1 mile to rotary beach and a quick walk to Mountain Point where you will find some of the best shoreline fishing in Ketchikan. A 5 mile long bike/walking trail runs in front of the house.

On the lower level of this duplex is another vacation rentals called the Admiral Beach House. It also have two bedrooms. This works well for larger groups traveling together.

This house is not suitable for young children under 13 yrs old. This is a non-smoking property. We have a maximum occupancy of 5 people.

Beautiful Home with an Amazing View

We had an amazing stay at Mary’s vacation home. It is clean and spacious. They have Roku so it was easy to watch on our local news on our Hulu account! The view was beautiful! Downtown Ketchikan was very close and easy for us to get our excursions. (Small plane scenic flight and hovercraft were both amazing!) We saw bears, eagles and my husband caught 7 salmon, fishing with a couple nearby who offer fishing trips even if you are a single man! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property

Mary is an amazing host. The property clean, well stocked and beautiful. My brother and I enjoyed fishing off the beach behind the house. Bed and pillows were comfy too! PSA: bring an eye mask if you want to sleep past sunrise. The windows and views are amazing and come at a price when the sun comes up. I will call Met next time I visit Ketchikan.

Great place for a home base

We had a great vacation in Ketchikan and the house made it, just perfect for us. It's far enough out of town to get away but not too far. Once you're done exploring all day, it was just great to hang out and relax on the deck and enjoy that the spectacular view. House is very clean and well provisioned. Kitchen is large with tons of counter space. We cooked pretty much every night. Grill worked great for salmon. Mary the owner was terrific and very responsive. Gave us great tips on places/tours to see. Checkin/out super easy. The last day we had a humpback whale feed literally 30 yards off the shore, right in front of the house.. yes we'd definitely stay there again. Great place!

Amazing Rental House

Wow!!! It could not have been any better!! The views are by far the best part of the house!...We saw whales and seals every day by just sitting on the patio. You would be able to see from inside the house as well from the kitchen or dining or living or master bedroom! Super easy to get to and just about 12 minutes from the airport and about a 35 minute drive to Clover Pass to get on a fishing boat with our guide. We loved everything about our stay! Mary is super sweet.

Gorgeous property with Breathtaking views

This rental is a genuine treasure, and I have to warn you that you’ll never want to leave the balcony. The views are incredible and the wildlife is nonstop. We loved being slightly south of town away from the tourist areas but still just minutes from anywhere. Mary and Greg are gracious and responsive hosts. Their recommendations for excursions and local businesses were spot on. I will be recommending this property to anyone I know wants to spend some time enjoying Ketchikan.

Don't miss out - this is an OUTSTANDING property!

Came back for a second year for another stay at Captain Morgan Beach House. We LOVE this facility and booked our return trips for next year before we even left :) Well appointed and maintained property and perfect location. Large master bedroom/bathroom with a phenomenal water view. Bedding is very comfortable. The living room area is very large, comfy and boasts another stellar water view. The views are AMAZING! Great kitchen that includes everything you need to feel right at home. It is so peaceful to sit on the porch and listen to the waves lapping against the shoreline in front of the facility; watch the eagles hunt for food and hear them chatting with each other (several eagles live nearby and often sit on the pole on the beach directly in front of the facility); watch orcas, seals, and seal lions swim by while they play and eat along the shoreline. Don't miss out on this outstanding facility - book now!!!!

Wonderful!

We rented Captain Morgan's House for a week in August. 4 adults were very comfortable in the top portion of duplex. Views were fantastic! Mary was very gracious and informative. Highly recommend staying here.
