Vår stuga är 432 kvm fot stuga tvärs över gatan från sjön där du kan åka vattenskidor, jet ski, fisk, leta efter örnar eller fiskgjuse eller bara kryssning. På vintern är kabinen endast tillgänglig via snöskoter eller längdskidor. Dess 4 miles från var länet slutar att ploga vid toppen till stugan. Vägen brukar hyras tillsammans med många fler miles av stigar att åka eller åka skidor på. Sovrummet har en fullstor säng, loftet har 2 enkelsängar och en dubbel storlek Hide-a-säng nere. Köket är fullt utrustat med en mikrovågsugn, ugn och spis, och massor av redskap. Den har en propan öppen spis och en propan grill. Den har en stor TV med DVR (det finns ingen TV-mottagning). Det finns ingen cellen service, men det har en fast telefonlinje. Det finns två loger med marinor där båtar eller kajaker kan hyras. Varje lodge har en restaurang, bar och lanthandel. Området erbjuder vandring (Pacific Crest leden kan nås på flera platser), 4 Wheeling, jakt på hösten och skoteråkning på vintern med många miles preparerade spår eller boondocking, isfiske, snöskovandring eller längdskidåkning. Tom's cabin was great! Communication leading up to our stay was good. Check in was easy, as Tom was there to show us around. The cabin is cute and cozy, just what my wife and I wanted for a weekend getaway fishing Bucks lake. We will definitely stay here again!

Cozy and just what we needed.

Everything was just as advertised. Cozy, welcoming and the perfect mountain lake cabin. Even when it was very warm outside, it was still comfortable inside with the late evening breeze. Can't wait to come back next year.

Wonderful little place near the lake

This is a wonderful little place within walking distance to the lake. It is cozy inside, but we spent most of our time at the lake. Tom is a wonderful host and our family will be back!

Cozy Cabin

Perfection at Bucks!

Tom’s cabin is perfectly located at Bucks, walking to Haskins, and incredibly charming. I’ve stayed multiple times and each is better! Adorable build with everything you need, cozy, and quiet. Lovely neighbors. The best of Bucks.

Bucks Lake Fishing Adventure

Perfect little spot for a few days at the lake fishing. Parking my boat was a breeze. Two adults are perfect but 3 would be tight spaces. The location was centrally located to all lake activities. The owner was great to work with

Beautiful location and Comfort all the way!

This was for a business trip for our company. We had a project in this area and found a gold mine of a place to stay. The Owner was extremely nice and kind. He made this an easy booking for our office manager, who is in another state. This was a beautiful area and so relaxing after a hard day's work. The home was clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place and book a stay again. 10 out of 10 stars for us.

Great cabin in a great location..

A friend and myself decided to make a trip up to Bucks Lake for the last weekend of deer season. I searched VRBO and came across Toms place. Conveniently located just off off the Quincy/Oroville hwy if fit our needs perfectly. The place has everything you need including a small gas fireplace which is nice to come back to after long cold morning hunts. Looking forward to next season. Thanks Tom

Perfect!

Thanks Tom for all of your help. We really enjoyed the cabin and our snowmobiling adventure. The tips and communication from you was really helpful. Toms Cabin Stay

Wonderful…actually plenty of room…folding tray tables to help when eating indoors. Kid entertainment on DVD, horseshoes, picnic table, and fire pit outside. Room for a pack n’ play in the bedroom, no lack of utensils, fans and windows to keep cabin cool during hot summer months, large fridge. Short walk to Haskins general store and the creek. Lots of wild flowers and friendly neighbors. Highly recommend.

Bucks lake cabin

It was nice but very hot and the fridge didn't work right and all of our food spoiled. The bed was a foam mattress that was way to soft and too small for 2 people. We left 2 days early and came home.

Tom McMeekin är värd

We live in Reno and enjoy outdoor activities. We are able to come to the cabin most weekends to relax. I grew up in Alberta, Canada and learned to enjoy winter activities because there's not a lot to do there in the winter. I've lived in Montana, Idaho and Colorado. Notice they all have Mountains? I have three daughters that are now grown and love coming to Bucks. The place grows on you and you can't wait to get back when you leave.

Varför värden valde detta boende

I wanted a cabin that we could enjoy year around. This is the perfect place, it doesn't get too crowded but still has all the amenities. We came up snowmobiling and stayed at the motel for a weekend in 2009. I fell in love with the area and knew I had to find a place that would be mine that I can pass on to my daughters. When I bought it, it was in pretty rough condition. My friends and I completely gutted it (this is when you find out who your true friends are), and remodeled it from a new foundation, wiring, plumbing, insulation and painting. We also resided it. Then we built the larger cabin attached to a corner of the original cabin. The road is paved all the way and in good condition. It is not uncommon to see deer, bald eagles, osprey and the occasional bear.
