The Little Lodge on Spanish Creek is a modern, Scandinavian-style cabin with water access, spacious outdoor wild spaces, and plenty of privacy. This cozy cabin has two bedrooms and a full bath complete with steam shower, a fully stocked kitchen with all the modern amenities, and a wood burning stove in the family room. With two decks in the trees and an enclosed outdoor dining space, there is room to spread out and enjoy nature. WIFI is included, and it's a short 10 minute drive into Quincy.

Amazing stay in a gorgeous cabin

Such a gorgeous cabin and so peaceful. The cabin had everything we could need and the surrounding area was stunning. Was close enough to town to run and grab dinner but secluded enough to feel like you were in your own little bit of forest.

Relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay in this high tech cabin. Everything we could have wanted was right there so we hardly left the place. We relaxed on all the patios & when we went into Quincy, it was only a few minutes away.

Gorgeous Getaway

We stayed here during a National race at American Valley Speedway at the Quincy Fairgrounds. It was such a beautiful ten minute drive to the cabin, rushing water in the creek, and the smell of trees. We had a great time, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more!

Our stay was wonderful. Everything worked. Beautiful property with a nice little creek to cool off in. The AC during our stay was great as it was over 100F everyday. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, sharp knives, and all the utensils and kitchen gadgets you could think of. The dual headed shower and water pressure was great, the beds were very comfortable, propane bbq was easy to use, and the host was very punctual when we communicated. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Cabin Ever!!

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous!! Every room is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. We didn't spend much time in the cabin because we were in town to visit friends, but the time we were there was perfect. The owners have thought of everything to make this space a true gem. We can't wait to come back!

Girls getaway

Absolutely lovely home. Very peaceful and quiet. Super comfortable. Great kitchen for cooking yummy meals. Great screened porch for eating those meals. If you're looking for a little slice of heaven, this is the place for you! Highly recommend!!

Lovely Cabin in the Woods

Jan is a very gracious host. The cabin has such a lovely ambiance and was decorated so nicely giving it a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, because of an urgent medical issue we had to leave after only one night. I would highly recommend staying at this peaceful piece of paradise. Legacy

This property has a story behind it and you'll feel the pride that has gone into making it an exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable rental. Our host was gracious, welcoming and wonderfully communicative. It's a great "unplug" space (but does have solid wifi signal). I look forward to renting this home again for some writing I have to do.

Peaceful and comfy getaway

Loved everything about this lodge! All the comforts of home and then some! The peaceful location was a nice reset for all of us. My daughter and I enjoyed each of the little windowed reading books and we had awesome family game nights on the screened-in back deck. The fire pit saw some s’mores on a “chilly” night as well! A family of 6 found it easy to retreat to a quiet space in the cabin. Jan is a fantastic host - always quick to respond if I had any questions.

Hidden gem

I can't say enough great things about this property. First the interior is comprised of all high-end accessories & furnishings and superbly constructed. The was ideal distance from the town and to Oakland Feather River Camp where we had friends. But my favorite and most fulfilling was spending mornings on the deck surrounded by nature, listening to birds and the river. We will definitely return year over year. Thank you for opening your property to visits.

Creek front cabin in the woods

We loved this wonderfully comfortable modern cabin perched above Spanish Creek which this year has become a raging river with the massive snow melt of 2023. The property is left in its beautiful natural state with adjacent homeowners far enough removed that we felt quite private. We enjoyed the two levels of decks and the screened in porch to bask in the morning sun and take in the nature around us. The interior of the cabin is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We found it very easy to prepare meals and enjoy ourselves in the cabin. Jan has thought of everything you could need. Communication with her was fantastic. She was always immediately responsive and very generous in allowing us to check out later than stipulated. We highly recommend this place and hope to be back one day.

Perfection. The cabin on Spanish Creek was a true treasure. Just off the highway, sitting above the creek in the sugar pines. The design of home allowed for creek sounds and views 24/7. Nature provided privacy from the two neighbors who were far away enough to feel the entire creek and Plumas forest was ours. Just a few minutes of sitting silent by the water gave us views of ducks, otters, osprey and many other special wildlife species. A little walk down the road lead to the Pacific Crest Trail and hiking trails galore. The house itself was comfortable, clean, modern, allowing for everything we could need. Our beds were so comfortable. A covered porch overlooking creek for grilled dinner. Porch chairs for morning coffee. Cards, games and great books about the area. The worst part about the rental was the feeling of sadness for having to leave.

Cozy Family Respite

Spirit spills over this treasured updated cabin. Upon arrival, family keenly attuned to the art, bedding, natural adornments and craftsmanship throughout this serene space. This cabin has all the modern amenities and comforts one might need to provide an effortless and cozy family respite. The cabin is well-thought out for children of all ages, toys, games, books, fishing poles, smart tv, good wi-fi. Inside, I especially loved the nooks with impeccably designed and framed out windows that peer into the woods. The well-stocked game drawer, steam shower and restorative main bedroom were also highlights. The kitchen flows and was enjoyable to work & commune in. On the deck, the woodsy crisp, clean air greets you and the mellifluous beauty of the creek serenades you closer to explore its banks. Without a doubt, this is a cabin and a location we would love to return to. We are grateful for our family’s experience; Jan is a thoughtful and generous host, and highly communicative.

Midweek retreat

Very clean ,comfortable and user friendly house. Kids loved playing in the stream and parents had a good time relaxing. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet creek side retreat.
