Spacious main house with great kitchen, pool, master, laundry, security alarm, purified water and outdoor shower. Additional bedrooms are a few steps from main house, but secure and comfortable. Our teenagers enjoyed the adventure of having a little space away from Mom and Dad. The pool area is very private, well landscaped with wonderful views. We rented a car. Short drive to West Bay and West End. East End is about 75 minutes. Many restaurants and activities to explore. Scuba diving was a highlight. Communication with host/manager was easy and responsive.

Awesome place in Roatan

The listing was as stated 100%. Wonderful kitchen with all the appliances and utensils you could ever need. It was super clean. There was a new property being built across the street so there was a little bit of noise but nothing too bad and it didn’t even bother us one bit. The location was perfect for being out of the way of traffic and the tourism hustle while being perfectly located close to West Bay Beach and only a 5-10 minute drive to West End. I would recommend a car rental if you like to explore. It would be about a 1 mile walk down to West Bay Beach if you choose. All in all, we loved it and the Island House Team was super responsive and helpful in planning excursions. I would definitely recommend this property and their team to anyone looking for a getaway!

7 days in paradise

Absolutely beautiful house and location. This was our first time to Roatan, and this was the perfect sanctuary to come home to every day. The fabulous kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals, which we often did. (But we also enjoyed the local food every day! Make sure to try the baleadas!) We slept like babies and swam in the gorgeous pool every morning. The management staff, groundskeepers and housekeepers were the best and made our stay so enjoyable. Chula Vista is perfect for families with older teens . Highly recommended!! P.S., if you come here, make sure to visit the east end of the island as well, and take a guided tour, you won’t regret it!! P.S., we rented a car and would do so again for ease of transportation. Thank you, Chula Vista! !Hasta la proxima ves!
