The gite was beautiful. There was an enormous fenced garden which our dog enjoyed. Danielle was helpful, knowledgeable, and so very kind. She supported us in our interests and gave us some of her lovely homemade jam.

Spacious, rural property

Lovely spacious property, perfect for a family of four. The garden is great and we enjoyed the table tennis and badminton. The welcome gifts were a lovely idea. The property is in a rural area but is close to roads so it is easy to travel around.

A great base for the Normandy countryside

The facilities were all really good, with the exception that we could have done with a bit more hanging space for our clothes. Otherwise, there was everything you would need for a great holiday.

Brix is Brilliant

A super warm welcome from Dominique and Philippe. The property is in a wonderful setting, so peaceful and tranquil. Everything you could need was provided plus more. Such a large property for just the 2 of us but plenty of room for our 2 German Shepherds who were made to feel equally welcome. We had a most wonderful time while staying there and would definitely stay again. Thank you Dominique.

A peaceful haven

The owners are lovely, they were extremely helpful, especially when the car broke down! The property is down a very quiet road, making it a peaceful spot, yet also close to the main route for visiting other areas, very handy! Well furnished, with facilities for my 1½ year old, such as bath and highchair, although I would say its more for 4 than for 6 people as the 3rd bed is a futon in the living area, that didnt affect our stay in anyway but worth mentioning for larger parties. They allowed us to bring 4 dogs which was very kind, the local walks are lovely and straight out of the front door. Overall we had a wonderful time, the hosts are accessible and will help with any questions and information, they are very welcoming and that is much appreciated. Should we stay in this area again I hope that they would accept us, there is so much to see and 2 weeks went by too quickly!

Merci Lisa. Au plaisir de vous revoir un jour. Cordialement. But it's not a futon. It is a large sofa bed, very comfortable but you don't know that because you did'nt sleep inside.

Tranquil rural escape but speak French well!

We had a great time here. The host was friendly although our French was poor so it wasn't possible to chat properly. We were so grateful after a long hot trip for the cider and biscuit gift. Thank you so much, Dominique. There was everything we needed, it was very clean and simply decorated. We enjoyed listening to the owls at night and playing Solitaire and pingpong. One thing I will say is there are a lot of dogs next door. We loved them (they weren't loud at night and they are well behaved) but if you are not a fan it wouldn't suit you to stay here. Our kids enjoyed playing with them daily! A memorable holiday in a lovely part of France. Merci!
