Great property in great lication

Had a good stay at this property which was ideal for us a mature couple and our small dog. Property was immaculate when we arrived and the generous welcome pack was much appreciated, well equipped we had all we needed. The communication was excellent we would have no hesitation in recommending this property and Aberffraw area, will definitely be back. Thank you

Great spot for a quiet break

The cottage was lovely and clean with all the basics which we needed. Unfortunately there was no dishwasher which we didn’t realise. The beds were comfortable, shower pressure good and the towels were nice and big and fluffy! The only thing that let it down for us was the air pump heating. We just couldn’t get the cottage to a comfortable temperature. All the heat goes straight upstairs to the bedroom which would be too hot while the lounge was cold. Location was excellent. Aberffraw is a very peaceful little village with a handy shop and very friendly welcoming pub, both just a couple of minutes walk away. There are plenty of walks from the cottage without the need to take the car and the beach is accessible by a beautiful walk along the edge of the estuary or through the dunes. We would probably stay here again in warmer months but not during the winter due the heating system/ lack of fire.

A comfortable base to explore the island

The accommodation is very comfortable for a stay on Anglesey. The near-beach location is ideal for dog walkers and we find it very convenient to access all the island without travelling too far. The kitchen is well stocked for utensils and the beds are comfy. It must be good as we've been coming for 20 years or so and have booked again already for next year!

Fab holiday house.

A very enjoyable week away. Great location, easy walking to the beach. Cottage was comfortable for three of us and one dog. Everything you needed to have a fab time. Would definitely recommend.

Great Short Stay.

Really lovely stay at Bwthyn Branwen. Loved the location. Cottage had everything we needed. Did find the heating a bit hit and miss but nothing to stop us returning. The beds were extremely comfortable. Hope to return in the near future. Good space at the front for our dogs.

A great spot.

Super,warm,clean and cosy.A great base for a walking holiday. The nearby village pub has friendly locals,great beers and great food. One tiny thing the beds could do with mattress covers.

Short break

Had a brilliant few days in this cottage, we were so lucky with the weather and the walk down the estuary leads to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We used the charger for our car without any issues, cannot think of anything negative about the cottage perfect for us, we have booked again for 2025 to explore North Wales further.

Really nice cottage

A really nice cottage; good customer service from the agency too. Clean and relatively new appliances and comfortable stay. The heating did struggle to cope at times; heat exchangers are known for this unless a property is completely draught free. Would go again and recommend to others.

The Perfect Base for an Anglesey Holiday

This is the second time that we’ve stayed at the property for our summer holidays. It’s perfect for us (a family of three, though the property sleeps four). It is lovely and clean, has two gorgeous bathrooms-really handy when everyone gets home from the beach and has an electric car charge point which is always available. It’s close to the beach and coastal path in Aberffraw, so you can do some lovely walks or runs right from your doorstep. Newborough beach is nearby and Trearddur is just up the road. I’d highly recommend Bythwn as a place to stay!

The Stay was great the cottage was very close to fabulous beach ideal for the dogs I would certainly go back again. They only short fall I found was when stripping bed there was no mattress protector.

Small improvements

Lovely two weeks stay basically everything was great just some minor things could make it better: Add a shaving mirror over the sink in the downstairs bathroom. We stayed with three dogs and after two weeks the vacuum cleaner wasn't very good at getting the dog hairs up off the carpet. We had difficulty finding the laundry as the sign was no longer over the door.

No complaints

This was our fourth visit since September 2018. I think that says it all. Our next visit will hopefully be next spring. No parking problems. If our dog could speak I’m sure she would say the beach is her idea of heaven!!

Relaxing Week

The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable; the condition of the worktop and nest of tables would prevent top marks all round. The staff were helpful and friendly and the on-site cafe was a big plus. With the pub in Aberffraw now closed, this left just the local shop as a nearby amenity - but that worked well for papers and other provisions. The 2 circular walks based on the location are excellent as is the Oyster Catcher (a short drive away) for excellent evening meals - but do book! Waking up and seeing sheep grazing right next to the lounge window makes a change for anyone coming to holiday from an urban setting!

Cosy little house

Nice little house in Aberffraw . Beds were comfy. The downstairs living room/kitchen/dining area is open-plan and is very small. It was ok for us (2 adults and 2 small dogs) but 4 adults would be a squeeze. Showers were good. People should be aware that the pub in the village has closed permanently . There is only one shop in the village that is rather pricey. We visit Anglesey regularly so we tend to travel all over the island , but if anyone is thinking of visiting and doesn't want to do much travelling each day then Aberffraw isn't really the place. The beach at Aberffraw is fab but the weather isn't always so good.
