Relaxing and peaceful

The parking was perfect. No worries about where we could park. The flat was very comfortable and just right for 2 people. The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances easy to use. The bed was very comfortable, I slept so well. The bathroom was also great. The property is well placed for touring Anglesey. As birdwatchers, we visited many local reserves and enjoyed watching the red squirrels only 5 minutes away.

Storm Amy came to stay too !

A very relaxing break away . Everything was provided with comfort in mind . The only tiny problem was trying to retrieve the key from the safe lock , the mechanism was stiff . Great location and a tea shop next door with delicious bacon baps!

Cosy Apartment

I love this little apartment it’s cosy and comfortable and on a nice complex near to the estuary and the beach. The balcony is great with panoramic views — I take a deckchair so I can sit and relax there. My dog loves to watch the world and other dogs go by. A gate on the balcony would be really helpful — I have to bring a baby gate so Henry Houdini does not escape.

Lovely stay

Lovely property and stay…. Only niggle was the bathroom radiator was on all the time and we couldn’t turn it off…… a few more coat hangers needed in the wardrobe. Would definitely recommend.

Good but steps spoiled it a bit but I found them no problem another time so could have been very hot weather Do prefer other properties on the complex well worth the extra money

Lovely with all the basics

My wife and I stayed at Ty Rhiannon whilst looking for a different Anglesey location than we usually stay. The accommodation is lovely for two, clean, cosy and all the amenities bee for a short break. The onsite cafe is a definite plus offering breakfasts, cakes and coffee etc. Only downside was some other guests were a little noisy on the first night until about 1am. Anglesey letting with who we had booked with before were really good both with assisting with the booking and forwarding all the necessary information. The accommodation is located a short walk from the river which leads to the beach. There are a number of walks which can start straight from the accommodation , however there is not a lot going on in Aberffraw. The Crown Inn was closed when we visited but looked like it was being decorated? Anglesey is a small island and Rhosneigr is only a short drive away as are Treardur Bay and Rhoscolyn. In fact from Abberffraw you could visit any part of the island within about 40 minutes.

A bolt hole a short drive away from the busy madness of Rhosneigr

I have stayed here with my dog on a number of occasions. The refresh this year is much appreciated. It once again looks light bright and clean. New ( small) up to date TV and the hotel style white linen and towels remain such a big step forward. Customer service was fantastic when I phoned them. Make a separate note of the key code! The app is fantastic but not if it doesn’t load in the car park at Aberffraw. The walk down the estuary at Aberfraw to the beach is as magical as any on Anglesey especially early morning or later evening when it is almost empty. The bedroom door has moved and didn’t shut at all which made it difficult to keep the dog out of the bedroom. I reported this and so hopefully it is being resolved. I will definitely be back.

Location location location

Ty Rhiannon is a perfect little cottage for one or two, to explore Anglesey ideally located close to the coast path and the glorious beaches of the west coast. The cottage was warm cosy, light, airy, clean and well equipped. There is a little seating area at the top of the steps great for breakfast in the sun. Booking the cottage was simple and the communication / information provided by Anglesey Holiday Lettings was amazing making for a stress free holiday. I hope to stay here again and would highly recommend Anglesey Holiday Lettings

Always brilliant

Ty Rhiannon is well equipped, super clean, warm, comfy, airy & bright. We’ve stayed several times and are never disappointed. Great value for money and easy if holidaying with a hound. Aberffraw is an amazing location with its stunning views, dunes & beach. Easy access to anywhere else on the island too. Great to see the village pub has reopened where we were welcomed by friendly locals. The cafe on site is a real gem. If you love Anglesey you’ll love staying here.

Very comfortable, ideal position for walks on beach.

I had another short break in Ty Rhiannon with my little dog, very cosy and comfortable stay. Ideal for beach walks and close to local places to visit, No window views but excellent to come back too after a walk. I had lunch at the cafe which was wonderful, very large portion so brought the rest back for tea ! Small problem when electricity went off but mantainace soon sorted, hopefully not an ongoing issue.

A lovely week in Aberffraw

We really enjoyed our stay in Ty Rhiannon. The sofa was bigger and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The kitchen is well equipped. Lovely and light and airy with 7 velux windows in the property. Bed big and comfortable. The tv stopped working on day two. I contacted the property maintenance team and first thing in the morning the guy turned up. By the time we had got back from our day out we had a new tv. Really good communication all round. Would definitely stay again. Dog friendly. A little table and two small bench seats at top of stairs to loft apartment that gets the late afternoon sun. Washing room if needed on site.

Fab!

Super clean & comfy cottage with everything handy for your day to day needs. Aberffraw is a wonderful place to stay with one of Anglesey’s best beaches on your doorstep. Great cafe round the corner, cidery down the road, friendly locals, and eateries of Rhosneigr are only a few minutes drive away. Anglesey holiday lettings staff are lovely to speak with & very helpful. Their prices are competitive and there are extra touches like fluffy white towels & eco friendly cleaning products too. This is our 2nd stay in Ty Rhiannon & we’ve booked to go again.

A great quiet hidden corner of Anglesey

This is my 3rd stay at Ty Rhiannon. Location wise it is close to Rhosneigr and the Expressway and quiet but has an amazing estuary and beach which remains largely deserted even in summer until later in the day. The property was clean and bright but is looking tired and could do with some refurbishment by way of doors, kitchen cupboards and the xpelair fans which were dirty. The furnishings are clean and bright though, the sofa and bed very comfy and the shower room tidy ( once the hot water comes through). The new white Anglesey Lettings linen and towels are a great plus. It is perfect for a short stay or a week or two as a base to explore Anglesey. The on site cafe is now excellent and popular with locals and beach users. Pub is now sadly closed. Aberfraw does have ia shop but it has very limited stock and they are not very friendly! I would suggest losing the three “ reminder” signs lined up on the worktop when you arrive. It’s like a 1960’s B and B. And actually personally whilst it’s not a big deal I object to stripping beds before I leave. Overall though a good value basic property to stay.

Lovely May break

What a great base this is. Perfect for one or two people and minutes from Aberffraw beach. Comfortable and clean, just add lovely weather, which I was lucky enough to get. Will hopefully visit again.

Perfect weekend break

This was our 3rd stay at Ty Rhiannon and it did not disappoint. Well equipped, clean and a comfy bed - what’s not to like. A lovely little complex, with plenty of on site parking. A great base to explore the island from. Value for money excellent. We will be back.

Brilliant

Our stay was excellent, very nice apartment sofa especially comfortable. There was everything you needed would definitely stay again in winter, but having a large German Shepherd a garden would have been better especially in the summer months that’s why we normally stay at ty Arthur, this apartment is superb , really quiet and peaceful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again .

Great location

Great stay again . We like the location as it’s so close to a fantastic beach , the dog loves it . This was the 4th stay . Shame the pub has never reopened and the cafe is only open limited days . But as long as you are aware it’s a great place for a holiday .

Could be perfect

A decent little place that just needs a few touches to make it perfect. A lick of paint on some of the walls would make the place feel better. Also, a decent table on which to eat meals. There is a raised area in the kitchen part with bar stools but it is squashed in and you are facing a wall. The headboard on the bed needs fitting better (I had to wedge it with two cushions), this would compliment the very comfortable bed. The radiator didn't work in the bedroom. The kitchen area is good but the extractor fan is not over the cooking area so I had to open the door when using the hobs sometimes. Nice for a 1 person retreat. The value for money is good over a longer period of 4 days plus, but expensive for a shorter stay.

Excellent holiday accommodation

I am a widower of a certain age and I found Ty Rhiannon an ideal place to stay but it would also be ideal for a couple without mobility issues given the stairs . For me personally I could not fault the accommodation in any shape or form which is homely , tastefully decorated , fully equipped with a spacious and comfortable bedroom I would certainly recommend it and would hope to return next year .

Beautiful quiet village fabulous beach

Excellent spot for walking to the beach. The tearooms on site are lovely.Ideal for walking around the coast. Really enjoyed our stay and have rebooked.

Fabulous holiday

Ty Rhiannon is a gorgeous little holiday home perfect for two people with everything you need. It is perfectly placed for exploring Anglesey and has stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the estuary. Aberffraw is a friendly place with a lovely cafe and Jaspels Cider Barn only a short walk away. The property was very clean with a comfortable bed and good shower.

Perfect stay

I cannot fault my stay at Ty Rhiannon at all. Location was perfect, and the accommodation great. It was clean, well presented and furnished and had parking right outside. I will definitely return here in the very near future. Thankyou Anglesey Holiday Lettings for some great memories.
