Impresionantes vistas al mar. Esta casa es perfecta durante todo el año con chimenea para disfrutar en invierno. Ha sido completamente renovado, incluyendo dos baños nuevos (con bañera y ducha separadas) y cocina. Hay un dormitorio de la reina arriba. En la planta baja hay una segunda habitación queen, una habitación doble y una habitación con literas con cuatro literas. Un baño está arriba y uno abajo. Hay dos salas de estar separadas, una arriba y una abajo con TV / DVD. Hay una mesa de 10 plazas en el balcón con barbacoa. La cocina está muy bien equipada con lavavajillas, microondas y más que suficiente vajilla, utensilios de cocina, platos, etc. Un verdadero hogar lejos de casa. Hay puertas plegables arriba y abajo que se abren hacia arriba, todas las puertas y ventanas están equipadas con mosquiteras. También hay una ducha de agua caliente / fría al aire libre. Ropa de cama y toallas se pueden proporcionar por acuerdo previo.

Beach escape

Wonderful property, lots of room and very well maintained. Close to the beach and take away shop. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful stay!

Loved this property! So spacious - lots of spots to sit, relax and unwind. Comfortably fit all of our family! Kitchen had everything we needed. House was very clean on arrival! Will return!!

Awesome family holiday!

We loved staying at Gecko's Rest! Perfect house for a large family. Lots of space, with a private lounge room separate to the main living area. Great balcony to enjoy the New Years Eve fireworks! Very clean, great check in process and so close to everything. We loved our stay here!! Will be back :)

What a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday!The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. It is really comfortable and well equiped, it also has a designer wetroom and gorgeous wooden flooring. The views of the ocean are outstanding from the terrace, perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine. We found it was a superb destination for a young family as there are lovely walks, safe rock pools practically on the door step and the tennis courts are just next door. We'll certainly come again!!!

Christmas in Currarong

The location is great for Currarong, walking distance to beach’s, shop,club, rock pool and creek. The outdoor hot water shower was great to wash off the sand from the beach. The pantry was well stocked, plenty of toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, dishwashing liquid. Also plenty of utensils, cutlery cups, and plates. The dogs next door can be annoying. When you’re on the balcony, the beds are a little firm, had trouble trying to mirror the TV as there is no Wi-Fi. The weather was not the best for summer. A second TV upstairs would’ve come in handy. The side gates need to be fixed with a locking mechanism to keep small children from going to the front of the property.

Fabulous position

This property is in a fantastic position and extremely comfortable . The property manager went out of her way to contact us about bedding which I really appreciated .. I had assumed the house would have wifi and it didn’t but once settled it wasn’t a problem at all.

What a terrific place to stay

We had the most wonderful week at Gecko’s. The house was spotless, the TV room downstairs was perfect, all the toys / tennis racquets etc made it even better. Angela was perfect to deal with and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax in a fabulous home in the most perfect location. We will come again for sure. Thanks Angela - it was amazing!!

Hidden Gem

This was a perfect place for our two families to stay for 4 nights, had everything & more that we needed. Kids loved the bunk beds & we loved the large undercover balcony to have drinks on at night. In such great location to beach, great to take bikes & ride around the area. Convenient having Zac's pretty much next door too. The walk to Gosangs Tunnel is a MUST! Thanks Angela & Richard for making it a super easy, comfortable & relaxing holiday.

Perfect time out with family

The perfect escape from Sydney and ISO!!! The house was so beautifully presented and the children were well and truly catered for with toys, books, games and their own space and special bedroom. We wanted just to hang and walk by the beach and cook and Geeko's Rest was exactly that. Angela made things so simple with her texts and was only a phone call away. We will definitely be back and longer next time! Thanks Angela

Fabulous location, perfect for 2 families

This house was full of all the modern comforts, 2 living rooms (perfect for separating kids and adults), a fireplace that was stocked with firewood and a giant undercover balcony. It was a block from the beach, down the road from the national park and beautiful bush walks. It was one of the best places we’ve stayed for a casual weekend away with friends and would absolutely go back in summer. Currarong itself is really quaint, there is a great seafood shop down the road, a tennis court at the back door... lots to do for a weekend getaway. Angela was so great to talk to about things to do, it made it all very easy! Totally recommend.

Perfect place for the family

Amazing place! We stayed with grandparents and 4 kids, and Geckos Rest was the perfect place. There was plenty of room. The kids loved the bunk beds and there were lots of toys and books. The location was excellent with the beach just a few doors down the road which has an inlet that is perfect for the kids to swim. The place is beautiful, clean and looks to have recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend Gecko’s rest. We are thinking about booking it for a family holiday again next year.

Beautiful Geckos Rest

Geckos Rest was a wonderful house to spend Christmas week for our extended family of 4 adults and 5 children. The bedroom with 4 bunks was ideal for the kids, there were common areas both upstairs and downstairs for children and adults to be separate if desired and a large balcony area overlooking the tennis court. Furnishings are modern and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Geckos Rest can be highly recommended.

Location and house a real winner

Enjoyed a fabulous stay over the Easter break. We were very happy with the house and its facilities. Thanks to the amazing weather we spent much of our time on the large, sunny upstairs balcony. The location is ideal as it's between the two main beaches of Currarong and only a short walk to both. The local shop is just a few doors away. The only feedback from our group is perhaps the barbeque is a bit on the small side if you had more than 5 or so people you were cooking for. Thank you Angela, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your holiday home and hope to return again.

Gecko's Rest is ideally located near the centre of activity in Currarong

Gecko's Rest is ideally located about 100m from Zac's cafe and general store, and not much further to Warrain Beach and the inlet channel or creek as its called. For tennis players it is opposite the 2 public courts, which also guarantees a northerly view out to sea. It is an older house renovated and added to to accommodate up to 8, and ideal for a family and parents/grandparents as was the case with us. Two living areas and bathrooms provide separate accommodation on 2 levels. The only missing link seemed to be one TV shared by all leaving the older generation to watch adolescent programs. There are large balconies and a stunning eating deck with Weber BBQ and lovely views over Crookhaven Bight. A bluetooth speaker allowed cell phones to be used for music, and and 4G internet was possible as there is no WiFi. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery and crockery and almost everything worked well. the owner Angela was very responsive and endeavoured to assist with minor problems as required. We would visit Gecko's Rest again, particularly as it provides such flexible accommodation and is so centrally located. Rob F

Absolutely perfect for a family getaway - everything we needed & more and so close to the beach!!

Would definitely come back and stay again and again - the house had everything we could want and need. We had a fantastic family holiday - the kids and adults loved the location and everything the house had to offer.

Fantastic !

Thank you Angela for such a wonderful weekend away. The photos from the large balcony dont give justice to how close the property is to the water. The location and size of the house is perfect for what we wanted, plus, whether it be for relaxing on the oversized balcony looking for dolphins or walking to the water for a swim !!

Relaxing stay

Gecko’s rest was the perfect fit for our holiday with two families accomodated easily. Two living areas kept everyone happy and the expansive deck with beautiful beach views made mealtimes a lovely experience. Two bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen added to our time away and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Angela is a pleasure to communicate with and made organising our holiday an easy task.
