Wonderful house

This is a perfect place for a family or small group to stay in. The host was extremely helpful and nice. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and had no complaints whatsoever.

Great Getaway!!

We looked around for hotels in the area and decided to try a VRBO and found this little gem of a property. It was well situated around everything we wanted to do. The rate was reasonable and the house was exactly as advertised. We had a great time.

Beautiful small house in great location.

This property was perfect for us. Clean, nicely decorated, excellent bathroom, and good appliances and well-stocked kitchen. It was a great location for us with friends and activities within 20 minutes. Property manager was excellent and very communicative. Thanks for a great experience!

Quiet neighborhood

The rental is in a quiet neighborhood, very convenient to everything and it had a nice outside seating area. My mom and I enjoyed the close proximity to the National Shrine and enjoyed walking there. It was very comfortable home. Thank you for the accommodations!

Awesome stay!

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this VRBO. We had it for a longer stay, 2 months, and were very impressed with how quiet the neighborhood is, but it is also close access to anything you would want or need. I especially liked taking evening walks meeting the neighbors and visiting the shrine with their beautifule grounds so close by. Our hosts were very responsive to whatever we needed. They were so friendly, it was like they were old friends greeting us. I would recommend staying here.

Absolutely beautiful home

My husband Rob and I really enjoyed meeting the owner Gisela and her husband . They are very nice. The home is beautiful and had everything that we needed. It was very clean. Nice washing machine and dryer, Fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, nice yard, nice neighborhood, and it's close to everything. Great property in a great neighborhood! Hosllll

Host was amazing. A few hiccups on booking as host had not initial record of payment but we had a confirmation number so that was very stressful as we suspected fraud. It worked out in the end but i caused us some worry which was unnecessary. Place was quaint and clean and we stayed comfortably. I hope to stay here again next year when we return for business. Thank you! Great accommodation!

Decent stay

This property is in a great location and the kitchen had everything we needed. I felt that the house was not cleaned prior to our arrival; dirty floors, cobwebs, dust on furniture and smelly bath towels. I was told that the basic level of cleaning was done and anything additional would have cost more but needed to be requested in advance. This was not explained in the listing, at the time of booking or on the signed agreement. This seems out of the norm for other short term rental properties and I would likely not stay here again.

I am sorry that you felt that the house was not cleaned to your liking, we pride ourselves to have the house cleaned and comfortable for each guest . All of the guest who have stayed at our property had absolutely no complains whatsoever and BTW the property Manager checks each time after each cleaning of the house, however if there happens to be a cobweb missed, we apologize to you.

Quiet location & dirty rental

Host was abrasive when we expressed our concerns about the rental being dirty. For example, dining table and floor was caked with sticky remnants of food and crumbs. Host suggested we leave and receive a full refund. If we weren’t traveling with two toddlers we would have left. There is a lot of preexisting damage to the furniture/rental. The only full size bed is extremely soft since it’s topped with some sort of foam. You are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a photo of your license. We were not provided check in instructions prior to arrival and had to call multiple times to get access. Would not stay here again.

Hello Magdalena, I am so sorry that you feel that the place was dirty - let me assure you we take great caution to clean and make our home presentable to our guest - all of our guest are happy and give us great reviews - your attitude was less than cordial and I like to tell you that we normally do not take small children as I told you on the phone before your arrival I made an exception for you and you where told about the rental agreement and the drivers license verification. The first thing you told me that there was no child guard on the electric outlets (one of the reasons we do not allow children. You also unhooked all of the electronics, WIFI and Roko and TV - broke a cup and some glasses and moved all of the furniture. You where told about the house rules and they are posted in the Hall and in our Guest Book. And I like to tell you that this is our home that we stay in and we like to have it clean and comfortable just like our guest do. If you did not like the bed maybe you should have ask what firmness the mattress has I would have let you know that it has a Tempur-Pedic mattress cover that could be removed. We also do not have 'Rental Furniture" and they certainly are not damaged. Are they brand new of course not this our home we do not buy new furniture every year. Lastly to our response to you I personally answered your calls each time, since you did not arrive until late evening. I came the next morning, you told me you slept well to my question how you slept

Schönes gemütliches Haus

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Haus war sehr angenehm, alles war sehr sauber. Da wir sehr spät ankamen haben wir es sehr geschätzt, dass die Vermieter auf uns gewartet haben, bis wir da waren. Auch die Nachbarn waren sehr freundlich. Die Lage des Hauses war für unsere Bedürfnisse sehr praktisch. Touren nach Warwick, Walkill und Patterson waren alle in 45- 90 Minuten erreichbar. Naturliebhaber kommen mit Eichhörnchen und Rehen im Garten voll auf ihre Kosten. Von der Ausstattung her, wären ein bisschen mehr Besteck und ein oder zwei größere Schüsseln schön gewesen. Ed and Gisela are amazing hosts that really care about their guests! They gave us fruit/ eggs from their farm to enjoy for our stay and really showed us how much they care throughout the stay! Had the pleasure of meeting em and if I ever need to stay in the area again it’ll certainly be here

Great House in a Quiet Neighborhood

Best Place to stay

This was by far one of the best places I have ever stayed. The home is very clean and well kept. Everything we needed for a week was provided. Also it was an easy check in and the hosts are very welcoming and the kindest hosts that have ever welcomed me. If I could I would come back and stay. Also, this place is affordable and more than comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to stay in Middletown or nearby.

A Great "Home Base" while Traveling

This place was exactly what I wanted while I was in town for work. It's a cute, little house that has everything you need for a nice home away from home. It's also in a good location close to local restaurants & stores. The hosts were very helpful & easy to communicate with & I would stay here again if I need a place in the area.

Great stay!

What a beautiful home! I stayed here with my wife and son and we loved the house. The central air / heat made the temperature always comfortable. Everything was so clean! Internet speed and Wifi was great, and our Roku always worked. The landlord was always attentive anytime we had a question or needed anything. The location was perfect, it was close to Wendys, YMCA and many other stores as well as highways. The vibe of the neighborhood was very good, nice people all around and we always felt safe here. The house has everything you need. We were sad to go!
